 + -1 moreIt took a few days for someone to come view the property and go over what needed to be done. Ron made several great suggestions that improved on what I was trying to do with the yard. The estimate was very reasonable for the amount of work to be done. The crew arrived on time, did the work, and cleaned up everything. They were incredible. Very nice guys.

The estimator walked around with me to decide on the work to be done, and returned on the day of the work to introduce the crew and again walk around with both me and the crew to confirm the work plan. This is important to me because you can't "un-trim" a tree if you do something the homeowner doesn't want done! I received a detailed cost estimate in advance via email, and the total price was consistent with the estimate. I do wish their rates were a bit lower but their service is excellent.
Description of Work: Many large and medium-sized palo verde and mesquite trees needed to be trimmed and treated for damage and pests.

 + -1 morethey had to climb the pine tree and take off carefully piece by piece, as it was in the back yard with no vehicle access and right next to the home and shed. they left the rounds as i had requested and left the yard cleaner than when they started. professional service - well done.

 + 0 moreArrived early and on time. three men worked hard for 4 hours. Very professional. Clean and neat. They filled a large truck with debris from tree and not a twig went into the pool or was left on the ground. Finally, a squared-away company. Their price is reasonable for the job you get. They know what they are doing. Kudos to Augustine who supervised the job. They know trees...and leave the yard as good as they found it...or better. I will certainly be using them again for yard/desert clean-up.

Eventually met with a very knowledgeable arborist who gave us a recommendation, and subsequently we received an estimate. Cost estimate was about the same as we had already received from another provider, and we decided to go with the other provider.

 + -1 moreWas the lowest estimate and it was also the only one we received by the date promised. When the work was scheduled, they arrived on time (which is huge to us because it seems to be a rare thing these days), did a great job trimming the mesquite, and actually cleaned up the mess. Will definitely call them first the next time tree needs to be trimmed.

 + 0 moreWe have used them before, and they had been excellent. I would highly recommend them. We will probably do part of the things and not all of them. The estimate this time was over $2,000, but before, we had them like $300 to do what we needed, but this is a lot of different trees, real high ones that you have to bring out the under things. Their responsiveness is very good.
Description of Work: Arizona Tree & Landscape Service Inc. came out to give us an estimate for the removal of Palm trees, remove a Palo Verde, treat for grubs, trim a Shoestring Acacia, trim another larger Shoestring Acacia, a Texas Ebony, a blue Palo Verde tree, a Eucalyptus, and remove dead materials.

They know what they are doing and they clean everything up beautifully when they are done. I have had then do work for us several times over more than 25 years.

 + -1 moreRon came to our home to evaluate trees with dead limbs and disease issues. He was very helpful in looking at multiple trees in the yard and giving me a verbal action plan for each tree problem. We accepted his estimate for trimming of two trees and the re-planting of a third tree. Ron accompanied his work crew on the day the work was completed to give instructions to the crew and he answered additional questions for me at that time. The two men on his crew worked diligently on the trees and cleaned up the yard when finished. We were very pleased with the work as well as with the knowledge that Ron gave us to help us maintain the health of the trees.
Description of Work: Ron checked trees with diseases and provided a course of action that I could complete myself. He also gave us an estimate for tree trimming and planting with amendments to be added to those trees.

Description of Work: Had several plants removed that died in the hard freeze that occurred as well as removal and replacement of two large queen palms. I have used this company before and they are very reliable and professional. Their resident arborist is very knowledgeable and provides excellent customer service. This company is not necessarily the least expensive but if you want quality work and a company that leaves the area very clean after performing services they are highly recommended.

 + -1 moreWhen I have had work done (on at least three occassions) Ron comes to give an estimate, he shows up on the appointed day and gives the crew instructions. Then he LEAVES. When I was leaving town for an extended time I asked to have repairs done to my irrigation system. Later I recieved an accusatory letter stating and quot;someone had removed a section of piping and this is what caused the leak I was experiencing. This is absolutely false. In fact, Ron's men removed the piping...AFTER repairing the leak..and if Ron had been there supervising he would have known that and not felt compelled to blame me. I will never use these people again...ever.
Description of Work: Today I called with a problem and scheduled some repair work. Later I received a call that Ron wanted to come out to give an estimate first and there would be a $60 charge. These folks are more interested in getting paid than in providing decent customer service.

 + -1 moreThe arborist was excellent and helpful. I did have a problem with the fact that they left without communicating to me that they were done early and leaving for the day. I was leaving the next day for 6 weeks so that caused a bit if a problem. It was expensive for what they did, the communication was a problem, but other than that they did a really nice job.
Description of Work: They did tree trimming, removal & stump grinding.

The estimate was reasonable and I scheduled the work for the following month. The crew arrived on time the day the trimming was scheduled. They were supervised by Mr Walcott. The work was done quickly and the area was raked and cleaned to a very high standard. The tree looks so much better. Thank you Arizona Tree Service! I will be using your service again.

 + -1 moreWent great! Workers reliable, on time, well supervised by Ron who came to job each morning. Have used AZ Tree for several years and can count on them to do good work. Workers use appropriate equipment and safety gear. Ron is very good at diagnosing problems and making recommendations for solving them.
Description of Work: After freeze this past winter, removed old dead and damaged plants and trees. Ron advised on replacement plants and brought them to job. Planted new plants, perennials and cactus. Renewed gravel. Fertilized trees. Trimmed trees and cactus. Hauled away debris. Left everything neat. Three days of work!

 + -1 moreThe job took three days overall. One crew worked on the big mesquite the first day, and some of the little mesquite and some work in the rental yard. A different crew finished up the big mesquite the second day, and completed the work in the rental yard. The same crew came back on the third day to deal with the blue palo verde. The crews cleared up all debris each day before they left. The owner had made the estimate a few weeks before; he or his son came to check on the job each day. We had some discussion about the big mesquite branch hanging over the street, whether it needed to come off altogether. The final decision was to thin it now, and wait till the summer to see how full, and therefore how heavy it gets. If necessary, it could at that point be tied with a cable to the main trunk to make it safer.
Description of Work: I have an extremely large Argentinian(?) mesquite tree in my front yard, with a very heavy branch hanging over my house and dangerously close to the roof, and a couple of branches hanging over the street. The tree trimmers removed the most dangerous branches and thinned others. They also removed a branch from the next-door pine tree that was hanging over my roof. They also trimmed a smaller mesquite in my yard, and a desert willow and lysiloma in the yard of the rental next door, and took out completely a small, ailing mesquite. They chopped up some branches and carted away others, and cleared ALL debris from the yards and the street. On the third day they dealt with a blue palo verde by the street, which had had a branch torn off by the city garbage truck; they chopped up the branch and trimmed the tree to prevent further breakages.
