I'd recently had another plumber here who had estimated $6K of work to fix the "crumbling" pipe. This Angie's list gentleman-plumber said the first business was trying to sell me a service I didn't need, that my pipe looked good for perhaps another 20 years.

I thought they were very very expensive and for lack of having a part I had to call them back and have them put it in. They tend to work too quickly without a double check.

I have a very old house with galvanized and cast iron pipes. They were willing to tackle the job, which was a definate plus for us. They were able to find the leak. We thought that there would be much more work involved and they offered to do the camera inspection for free. I spoke to two people in the company and let them know that they would have to go under the house. They did not tell me that they would have to have two workmen to do the job. They did not tell me that there would be an extra hourly charge when we got the estimate. We have had four different plumbing companies come out to fix the issue in our kitchen. This is the only company that had ever taken the time to try to snake the entire line to the sewer, which took at least an hour and a half incurring more charges. I asked if it was in order to do the camera inspection and I was told that it is company policy. This job ended up being more than we expected. If they had told us upfront, we could have made a sound decision. They should be more clear about their pricing and how many men were needed to complete the work under the home, as we were upfront about what needed to be completed in our initial estimate talks.

I thought they were fair.

I found a bad leak in my house after that hard freeze last winter. I called and they came the next day and fixed the leak. This left a good sized hole in my ceiling. They said they would patch the hole up. This was completed a month later. The delay was mostly due to my being out of town. I have no complaints abuot the work they did and have called them since for another problem. The only issue I have is that I have not received a bill for last winter's work so I cannot say how much the rep[air cost.

My experience was excellent! They were fast, prompt, and were very tidy in their work!

I called them and told me what the problem was. They came out and looked at it for a couple of minutes and said they didn't have the part and left. They charged me for that visit. They charged me again six weeks later when they came back out. The fix took less than 15 minutes. The part was $129 and the whole bill was $344. The service was good and they were polite. I understood why it took so long, because lots of people had similar problems. I just thought what they charged was outlandish.

I have used this contractor for extended work a few years ago and was very, very happy to find it in Angie's list. New faucets were not available in truck; repaired packing faucets in laundry room, but when putting back fixtures plumber forgot to use the Teflon tape! Leaking was not solved and another plumber had to come back a couple of days later. Replaced springs and seats for lav and tub shower, but shower leaked slightly, but stopped after a few minutes. Second plumber came with new valve for shower but wanted to cut a hole in the plaster in the back room and would leave it open because they are not supposed to repair plaster! I refused to have the work done. Labor was $98 per hour

THEY SHOWED UP LATE AND DID NOT EVEN CALL TO TELL US THEY WERE GOING TO BE LATE. THEY ACTED AS IF THEY WERE DOING US A FAVOR AS IF JUST BEING IN OUR HOME WAS AN INCONVENIENCE. THEY WERE ONLY HERE FOR 15 MINUTES AND CHARGED AN OUTRAGEOUS PRICE.

THE PRICE WAS ACTUALLY PRETTY REASONABLE BECAUSE THEY AGREED TO LET MY HUSBAND REMOVE THE OLD SINK AND FAUCET. THEY MADE EVERYTHING EASY ON US, SO WE DID NOT HAVE TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY. WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED AND IT DID NOT TAKE THEM LONG AT ALL.

THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. THEY ARE VERY DEPENDABLE AND RESPECTFUL. I LIKE THE FACT THAT THEY COME THE SAME DAY I CALL THEM. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

THEY LISTENED TO MY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT NEEDED DONE. THEY GOT THE WORK DONE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY ALSO SHOWED UP ON TIME. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

THIS COMPANY WAS GREAT. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD GET IT DONE. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THEY RESPONDED TO ME ALMOST INSTANTLY. I WOULDN'T CHOOSE ANYONE ELSE TO DO THIS WORK FOR ME.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE VERY CONSIDERATE OF MY FEELINGS, WHEN THEY HAD TO TEAR UP MY ROCK GARDEN BECAUSE THEY HAD TO DIG UNDER MY DRIVEWAY.

WE HAVE NEVER USED A PLUMBER BEFORE. BUT I'M GLAD THAT I HAD THIS COMPANY COME OUT. THEY PUT ME AT EASE AND THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT. THEY EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING.
