Description of Work: The handyman inspected the problem but could not reproduce it. His suggestions proved reasonable and only charged me for the inspection. I would use him again.

Description of Work: Installed grab bars in master shower and repaired towel racks. very professional called to see if he could come early, which we agreed to, he was in and out with no mess, would use this service again.

Description of Work: Painted our bathroom. They got here the next day after we called. Did a very neat and clean job.

Description of Work: Repaired a sliding closet door. Put back on track and adjusted track. Removed a ceiling fan and was unable to install new fan and did not put old fan back up. So we were left without a fan.

Description of Work: Were rather abrupt. Did not call when counter came in. They called to say product was ready and when we got there the sink had not been cut out as requested so we had to wait while they did it.

Description of Work: Replaced 2 ceiling fans with 2 pre-assembled fans. No remotes. Excellent job.

Description of Work: American Handyman Service rep, John, was punctual and performed all tasks as required (painting and drywall repair). I have already hired this company twice, and will probably do so in the future.

Description of Work: Removed screens as asked, but left framing torn up, metal shavings in my living room and bedroom floor and kitchen floor where I asked him to file down a protruding hinge rod. He did not clean up and left nails in patio. When I called owner he was indifferent to correcting the problem. I obtain the services of another carpenter who completed the work very quickly and professionally. I would never use American Handyman again or recommend them.

Description of Work: Performed some basic wiring for pendant lamps and explained the wiring configuration to me. Can't remember the handyman's name, but I learned a lot from him!

Description of Work: This is the second time using this company. First time had great results. Nathan was amazing and very detailed in the completion of his work. The second time I used this service I got a differernt worker. He was not as detailed and I had to call the office to have him return because the pet door he installed did not work and needed some tweeking. His van dumped some oil from his vehicle on my new cement driveway. Not happy about that. I like the company because the owner was responsive but next time I will ask for Nathan. He does great work with respect to detail. Nathan also honors his relationship with this boss. He will not accept additional work if his referral came through this company. I like his integraty. Good for American Handyman for having someone like this. I wish every company did. Which is why I will continue to use this vendor.

Description of Work: I had this company re-finish some exterior doors and re-attached garage cabinets. The doors looked significantly better than they did previously. The garage cabinets are re-attached and are safe now, although I may have attached them in a more esthetic manner (I wasn't present at time work was done).

Description of Work: Checked out my broken door and determined it was not fixable.
