Called American handyman Services and got an appointment 4 days later. When that day came it was cancelled due to a emergency on their part and gave me an other appointment 4 days later. He arrived on time and did the needed work. Paid about the amount I expected. Used the $20 coupon on their WEB site.

We were pleased with the quality of his work, his professionalism, and his reliability. Unlike many contractors these days he came to the house when he said he would and completed work when he said he would. We were very happy with the services provided.

He is amazing. He was on time. He called before to let me know he was running a little late. He was prompt and clean. I have never had a better handyman.

Chad quickly prioritized the projects and got busy. All 4 projects were completed in an efficient and timely manner!

The representative from American Handyman was professional and extremely neat. I would definitely phoned this company again.

I called o pay the bill today and was informed that they do not take American Express. This sent me through the roof! I think that I should have been informed of this in the beginning. Now I have to move my funds around to accommodate the fact that they don't take this card. Needless to say, I will be using them again.

I'm very happy with my experience with American Handyman Service. I had two electrical projects (removing a range hood and installing an outlet for an over-the-range microwave and replacing an outdoor light) and one plumbing project (replacing a kitchen sink) that needed to be completed. Matt was able to complete all three projects within five hours. The service was extremely convenient and affordable. Instead of scheduling both an electrician and a plumber separately, I was able to get all my projects done on the same day thru the same company. My final price for all three projects was only about $50 over the price that Home Depot had quoted me for the sink installation alone. Matt was very knowledgable, professional and friendly. We will definitely be using American Handyman Service in the future for these types of projects in the future.

This was so much fun! I called because I had built a 10 foot bank of Ikea cabinets but I could not install them myself. I called and was pleasantly surprised how fast I was able to get help! Matt came over and evaluated my progress and jumped right in to complete my project. He was very friendly and answered all my questions. The job went very smoothly and he installed ALL the 12 handles perfectly. He cleaned up and was gone in a flash. I will be calling him again for my next project when I have gone as far as I can. The price was more than reasonable for the quality of work. Most important, great customer service.

I had been working with a local handyman that had kept putting me off during the rainy season and the leaks from the skylights were only getting worse. I decided to give Angies list a try. I found the American Handyman and gave them a call and they were so nice and wasted no time getting out to my house. They gave me a fair quote and proceeded with the getting the job done. They took all the stress and worry from my shoulders. They did a great job.

I had a really some really stupid drywall media niches for a big deep tv from 10 years ago, huge speakers, etc. Now, we have a big flat screen...what architect decided this was a good idea?? I always hated them, and they were impossible to decorate. They just ended up collecting junk and looking awful. I decided the easiest way to get rid of them would be to just drywall them over. I have done some drywall work myself, and this looked too tricky and would have taken forever for me. I wanted three niches completely covered, and one niche changed from 26" deep, for the big fat tv to 12" deep for a nice bookshelf. All had to be textured. American Handyman sent one person, I explained what I wanted, and he took about 6 hours to do it. For small jobs, they go hourly. He worked the whole time and was very nice. I ended up keeping one of the niches for a bookshelf. The finished work was awesome. I'd definitely use this service again.

PERFECT!! I was able to get an early morning appointment and Chuck was right on time, literally to the minute. He was polite and professional. The work was done quickly and he cleaned up the mess afterwards. I have had another popular local handyman service that I refuse to use anymore (due to unprofessional behavior all around) leave horrendous messes. This guy cleaned up and even double checked his work before he left and asked if everything was good, which it was. After he finished his work, I asked him about the gutters in the back of my house that were not holding up very well. He told us exactly what was wrong and how it will be fixed. We fully intend to schedule that appointment even though it probably won't rain for about a year. We plan to call in the next few weeks. Thanks American Handyman, you restored my faith in handyman services. I am now a faithful customer.

Repair went well, although I don't think adequate time was planned resulting in a multi-day job. "Contractor" took his time to make the end result as visually minimal as possible, he was also very respectful of our property covering flooring and doing excellent clean up, (on both days.)

I was unsure that I would be able to use American Handyman, but because of all of the great reviews I had read on Angie's List, I decided to leave the key with Nathan while I went off to work. He called to let me know he was 10-minutes away; he arrived within that time, and immediately went to work. When I got back home I was so happy with everything. Everything that I asked to be repaired was. What a wonderful feeling. I will definitely use American Handyman again and again as I have other projects I need tackled. Nathan was professional, friendly, and efficient. Herb was very polite and courteous on the telephone and delivered what was promised.

American Handyman was called on July 18th, took 1 week for an appointment. a bit disappointing, but they are popular I quess.Nathan my service man just leftHe was on time, very professional and courteous. we discussed the issues that needed attention. he worked quickly.and also offered advive on a few other prjects I had coming up. Just under two hours of work ( i used the coupon )I was pleased with all aspects of the service call and wouyld without doubt intend to use them againNathan was great !

They come out quickly and give an estimate before they do anything. I just describe what I want done and they do it. They are very good at what they do. The first time I called them was when somebody knocked my mailbox off of the mailbox post. I couldn’t figure out whether I have to put a new post there or a new mailbox. I called them and they, for not much money, came up with a really creative way to fix it . They did an incredible job and I have never had a problem with that again. The company that I bought the washer dryer from had some people come out and they said they could not hook up the dryer vent but American Handyman fixed it for me. He bought the parts, brought those sheets with him and didn’t charge me anything more than what he paid for those. They are my go to people. I’ve also recommended them to a friend who wanted to redo her bathroom and she was very happy with them too. I like them a lot. They are prompt, courteous and their price is reasonable.

After Matt came out in early June to do some work on my home, I asked for him again a couple of weeks later. American Handyman is professional, prompt, and provides excellent service. Although their price is a little higher, their professionalism makes the price worth it, and I know that they can handle about any job I ask them to do. I plan to ask for Matt to come out in the near future to do some outside painting.

They were really reasonably priced, prompt, and professional. There was nothing I disliked about them; they were very good.

The gentleman they sent, Matt, was very professional, courteous and attentive to my instructions. He moved quickly from task to task and left all work areas clean and neat. I am very pleased with the work done by American Handyman Service in Tucson.

Great. chad called ahead, arrived, promptly, worked quietly & efficiently. Did a quality job and was very personable.

Workers not chatty, came out the 1st day after i called.

I emailed American Handyman Service Monday afternoon. Before the end of day, Herb had called me to set up the appointment. He was very friendly and professional, and helped establish a clear plan of action. We set an appointment for a handyman to come to my home Wednesday morning; certainly a rapid turnaround time. Nathan called Wednesday to inform me he would be a few minutes late, which I appreciated. He assessed the damage to the wall. Although the trim needed to be replaced, he verified that the drywall looked undamaged. He sprayed a preventative mold treatment on the affected area and replaced the trim. He then inspected the roof, and invited me to survey what had happened. He made several recommendations of how to repair the damage as well as suggesting some preventative measures. He was clear with his proposal and included approximate prices. Nathan repaired the roof and installed a drain gutter to prevent this damage in the future. Nathan then spent time discussing future projects with me. This included information that would be helpful to me as a homeowner, even if I didn't use American Handyman Service for the job. Nathan made sure I understood the invoice and had made sure not to charge me for any materials he was able to return as unnecessary for my job. Lastly, Herb, the owner, left me a message the following day to confirm I was pleased with the work provided. I would certainly consider using American Handyman for future repairs or projects in my home.

I called Herb and made an appointment for the following week after he got back to me promptly. (It's best to call rather than email). He called the day before to confirm and his employee came out early next morning to do the work. This was a long job, about 7.5 hours of work but believe me Mark was diligent and worked fast but carefully. These were big heavy cases. He was very personable and friendly and has a work ethic rarely met with in younger folks these days. The job done was worth every penny and based on this experience I would hire them for any of the services they provide.

His employees are excellent. They do small and big jobs. My experience was excellent. I was pressed for time and I called them on a Monday and they came out on a Thursday. I was pleased with their fast response time. They came out immediately the second time because I had a leak. Nathan does excellent work and doesn't stop and does multiple jobs and he has excellent time management skills. I'd recommend them to anyone.
