Tech arrived at the time agreed on. Asked me the problem. Got right to work and took care of issue. Everyone I had dealing with was great to work with. The tech was awesome and told me everything is was doing in detail.

We recently moved to Oro Valley from Northwest Arkansas. We were looking for a company to start a termite plan for our home. We do not like to use toxic chemicals in or around our house, so after reading about Alpha Ecological's green approach we decided to call them. They offered a free inspection. They were able to schedule a convenient time to inspect our home, just a couple days after we called them. The technician, Greg S. arrived on time, was very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. He inspected the inside and outside of our home, giving us helpful information and advice as he went. No termites were found. We chose to start a yearly plan with Alpha Ecological. Their price was fair and reasonable, and less than some other companies. We are pleased with our choice and are glad that we chose a company that cares about the environment.

They are environmentally aware. They use environmentally safe chemical solutions.

I have a yearly contract with them. We had them start doing the monthly service after we found bugs on the counter, even though we kept things clean we would see bugs; even in our cupboard they were attracted to certain things they could get into like crackers and things. Ever since we had them come out we have not had any problems. Their prices are reasonable, fair and worth the price. They are always on time and I will use them again in the future.

They do our monthly service. They are fine. They come regularly. They call to let me know before they are coming. They do only the outside the house unless requested to come and do inside. I have been using them for probably a year and half.

October 2010 we were informed by our neighbors who were looking after our home, that we had termites. Their pest control person looked at the problem and gave a quote. We went with Alpha as they had been performing our monthly service for the last four years and were the company we inherited when we purchased the home. I called Alpha , whose headquarters are in Oregon, and had them meet my neighbor to look at the situation. Greg Strawn, the termite specialist, looked at the situation and gave me the same dollar quote of $990. There was no paper work, no written quote or anything. All was verbal. We were still out of state and were taking his word for the solution. When we returned four weeks later, we found a sketch on the desk and the bill. When I questioned Greg about the work and asked him to come out to show what he had done, he refused and would only talk to me over the phone. When we came to Tucson this season September 15, we found termite tubes again in another part of the house. We called Alpha to discover that Greg Strawn's termite company had been bought out by Alpha, that Greg was no longer, and that Tucson had only ONE service tech, Anthony. Anthony came on 9/16/11 and yes Greg was gone. It was apparent from his notes that he had not secured the entire perimeter, had not sprayed all over and in fact may have done nothing. Anthony agreed that something was not right and that we again had termites less than 6 months after the first application I called the office to let them know what had transpired. They accused Anthony of saying too much and he quickly rescinded all that he had told me. On 10/18 he returns for the “house inspection”. -Yes, the back had not been treated. No drilling by Greg. -Would not retreat the entire perimeter. Was taking Greg’s report as it was, even though we were not convinced hat he had done anything back in October. -Would not listen to my wife’s concerns abut partial drilling; one day and filling another. Stressed that his time was valuable and that his couldn’t fit it into his schedule. Strange, I thought he was here to service us, the customer. -Would not listen to my neighbor, who found the original problem, as to hole sizes stating that he was superior to every one else. The arrogance was too much. Now he wanted to retgurn on 10/26 to finish the job, and have more excuses. We cancelled his call and the company’s monthly service. If he is the only rep and the company in Oregon has no local office, then I don’t need him.

We paid $29 a month for that service.

Excellent and effective.

I like that they use organic and environmentally safe products. There is no bad smell and I have kids, so I do not have to worry about anything. I think that their rates are cheap and they come out whenever I call them.

This company is a rip-off. The one spraying I had done, did no good whatsoever; it was less effective than if I had sprayed the house myself with a can of Raid. When I complained, I was told that I would need to purchase additional services, that their work carried no guarantee of satisfaction, and that they could not tell me how many additional services I would need to buy before my pest problem was solved. I canceled the service, concerned that I may have had to purchase months of spraying, with no guarantee that any of them would solve the problem. The customer service representatives are extraordinarily rude and unhelpful, and exist only to sell additional months of service.
