This was my first experience with Angie's List very dissatisfied with this contactor. Would not recommend them and was not happy with service provided.

Two nice guys that showed up on time and works hard the entire time. They did exactly what I asked them to do.

Jack and Travis showed up on time, and got right to work. Both were knowledgable about local cacti, shrubs and trees. Excellent overall. Hired again to perform more work.

Wonderful, the finished product was breathtaking.

We were quite pleased with the results. The first project was to clean up the streetscape and the transformation was beyond our expecations. The crew not cleaned up what had to to be cleaned up and removed. They actually engaged in landscaping design, virtually transforming the streetscape. The second visit was not as dramatic, but still exceeded our expectations. We are bringing them back for a fairly significant upgrade to our front entrance and look forward to what they propose. We enthusiastically endorse All-Terrain Lanscapre Creations.

I called All Terrain and set up an appointment for a consultation. Dave (the owner) came out and looked at my back yard, we talked over what I was looking for, ideas and suggestions. He asked what price range I was looking for - which no other vender had done. He came back with 2 options, he had designs, layouts and pictures with a itemized estimate. When I decided which option, they started within days and completed the whole project in just over a week.! The entire crew was polite, punctual, clean and respectful. They were on time for all appointments, each day of work and they cleaned up at the end of each day. They were very caring even making sure to close the gates and keep the dogs safe. The yard is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I even received a follow up phone call to ensure I was happy with the final results.

For the quote, David was prompt and he was flexible about changes. He was great to work with. The work was scheduled quickly and the workers showed up right on time and did a good job. There was one problem with the step, but they corrected it almost instantly! We were very pleased with the final results.

I had tried several times to reschedule appointment before this morning, however they could not change the date although we had several days in which it could be done. All I was looking for was an quote on definite scope of work which I required. I acquieced to the original appointment today at 8AM. I was in the hospital all day yesterday and did not have my phone. I checked messages this morning and heard that since I did not confirm that I needed to make another appointment. COULD THEY NOT HAVE CALLED AGAIN, INSTEAD OF JUST DROPPING ME, KNOWING THAT I WANTED TO MEET LATEST TODAY (7/24). When I told them I was upset the owner managed to be here in 10 minutes. He (Dave?) was condescending, telling me "we can't go all over the city not knowing we have a confirmed appointment". I guess they were too busy to make another call to me. WHAT EMPATHY! WHAT PROFESSIONALISM! After finally visiting with me ,I laid out the scope of work I needed done. He immediately told me that the job was too small and ripped off a piece of paper with someone's name on it telling me that "he can help me". What arrogance! ,I know that All Terrain does the work I needed done. Just read their description and read the comments of previous customers. HE WAS JUST BLOWING ME OFF BECAUSE i WAS MIFFED, AND THERE WERE BAD VIBRATIONS. I understand that, and I would NOT have given him the job anyway, regardless of price-due to the same feelings. Now I know by the comments of previous customers that Dave & his company are wonderful. However, in my opinion they are too regimented and too big for their britches, and I really don't need this BS! Have a nice day!

Tom was available for an estimate within a day or two of calling. He provided a detailed estimate within a week. I was able to schedule the work within a couple of weeks after that. Things got started about a day late, but this was due to recent rains. The crew worked hard and finished within a week. They cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the project. I had some issues with the fountain and someone came out everyday until it was working perfectly. Tom was able to understand my vision, exactly. The project turned out exactly how I wanted it to.

I can't recommend these guys highly enough. They arrived when they said they would and did a beautiful job of transforming my sterile back yard into a small desert oasis. Everyone on the crews that worked here was knowledgeable and professional, not to mention patient with my many questions. Their pricing was very reasonable, and all plants installed were of high quality. I plan to continue using them to have some additional work done in the future. I've recommended them to others and they were also pleased with the results. There were a couple of minor communication glitches during the process, but they were resolved promptly and courteously.

Tom created a functional plan for a space in our backyard that we had put off dealing with for years. His crew started and completed the work as scheduled in a very professional manner. Everyone was friendly and accommodating to our wishes and changes requested during the work. Tom graciously had the guys repair old, sunken bricks to make it looks as good as the new ones. He did an incredible job matching the new (used ) bricks to our old ones and it looks great. Tom checked up on the quality of work at least once a day and made sure we were happy with the ongoing process and results. He had some work done over when he saw it wasn't up to his standards. Tom knew where to get good soil and had it hauled in for us for the sealed planter box. The patio has an undetectable slant so the rain runs to plants away from the house. He means it when he says, "I'm not happy unless you're happy." We will definitely call on All-Terrain in the future and we do not hesitate to recommend them to you.

Work was unforeseeably delayed due to weather but understandable. I was impressed with their knowledge and skill in all things. Questions were answered and work done in timely fashion. My patio is now lovely, functional and enjoyable.

The services was great! They were timely, efficient with their time while onsite. We have 2 very old and stately mesquite trees. What was most impressive was how knowledgeable they were about how the trees needed to be trimmed. At first we thought they were trimming too much so we asked. They were very patient with explaining that not only do we need to be sure the trees don't grow over the top of the house and too much over the pool, we also need to be aware of what happens with the wind. By thinning the branches appropriately the wind can move through the trees without breaking limbs and causing more damage.

We asked for an estimate for what it would cost for them to fix a drip in our irrigation system. They gave us the estimate so we hired them to do the work. However, at the time we hired them, we did not know it cost us $134.00 to get the estimate. Needless to say, we were shocked to get the bill for $252.77 showing the $134.00 to provide the estimate. We won't know if they truly fixed the system until we turn the irrigation system back on after the hard freezes are behind us.

All Terrain Landscaping came out to our house on time as promised, so I cannot fault them for punctuality. However, it all went south pretty quickly. I found the person to be a very high pressure sales person. We pretty much knew what we wanted from the beginning, but I left it open to see what kind of ideas they had. Keep in mind that the estimator is the professional. They are supposed to know what all could be involved in a job, from simple to large. We were talking about a retaining wall with back fill. He quoted us a price of $100/linear foot and about 40 tons of back fill dirt. He even talked about a way for us to save roughly $2.50/linear foot and the fact that because their heavy equipment could easily access our back yard, it would hold down the cost of the back fill dirt. The estimate came in on time. However, it was $14,000+, which was 40% above the verbal estimate and there was no back fill dirt included. So, not only did they fail to put together a complete estimate as they promised, but they were 40% above what they said without an explanation of why. I emailed them with some questions and they offered to rework with a 3 foot high retaining wall, back fill dirt and rip rap to reduce the cost. That one came in at just over $14,000. I registered my displeasure with both of the estimates, especially the first one and they blamed it on "functional issues," "pulling permits," "engineered wall." and "additional costs." I fully understand that the final written estimate could be somewhat higher than the verbal, but again, the estimator is supposed to be knowledgeable enough to know what a job would take. Some variation between verbal and written is to be expected. A 40% difference is flat out ridiculous. furthermore, not putting together a complete estimate of the work we discussed is unsatisfactory. I have never experienced a company not putting together a complete estimate of the work we discussed until I encountered this company. In the end, I would not hire this company for any work on my property.

All Terrain did a great job on our fountain, both the recommendations and the work itself. Dave and his crews are hard working and deliver when promised. We've been pleased with the scope of his expertise with a number of issues relating to our house and yard.

David Ormsby (owner) and all of the staff and crew of All Terrain Landscape Creations stand behind their work, their plants, and their products! With the recent landscaping design and installation that All Terrain did for us this past June 2014, we have had a few casualties with some of the plants. David and his team have been very responsive with our requests to review and if necessary replace the unhealthy plants. And did this at no cost to us! If you are looking for a landscape designer and installer, you can not go wrong with employing David and all the great team members of All Terrain Landscape Creations Inc!

Easy! Met a designer. Got plan w/ costs broken down. Did work while we were out of town.

Totally professional job. They arrived on time and remained focused on the work.

In order to come up with an agreeable plan, I met with staff at least 3 times and they were very agreeable to changes and meeting my needs. They had an amazing team doing all the work. All the men worked very hard and were very responsible. I did not shop around for a price as I felt the service was very good. My guess is that it was a bit higher price but service is extremely important to me. I felt that the service from the company is very good!

All Terrain was on time and all business. They cleaned up each day leaving no mess.

From our initial contact with Dave he couldn't have more helpful. His ideas and creativity are excellent. He worked with us to bring the design in line with our budget and delivered a beautiful product. Dave's crew are all very professional and helpful. They arrived on time and worked hard all the time they were here. The place was spotless and tidy each evening when they left. Dave and his crew took the time to explain everything to us and have been back several times to check on things and adjust the irrigation schedule. Should we need anything in the future we would definitely hire them again.

Excellent. The All-Terrain Team are all very professional and hard-working. From the initial contact to the end of the job, the service was exceptional. Dave Ormsby took the time to explain the entire process and provided a detailed bid, including photos. The Team arrived promptly, maintained a very clean work site, were very polite and knowledgeable and could answer any questions we had. When the job was complete, Tom took significant time to explain everything that was done, what the various plants were, how to work the irrigation, and reviewed the overall invoicing with us. We felt very well taken care of. Thanks, Dave and Team!

David and his team did a great job. I only had vague ideas about what I wanted done, and David was able to run with these general concepts and provide an appropriate design within my budget. He has a good eye for design and knows his stuff when it comes to the details (e.g., plants, materials, good landscaping practices, water conservation techniques, etc.). His workers were very courteous, work fast and perform quality work. When I had changes, questions or issues David and his staff were quick with answers and/or solutions. Overall I was very satisfied when the work was done. Price was not "Excellent" because the cost for his services is not what I would consider cheap, but I also don't think that his prices are totally outrageous. Landscaping is generally pricey, and sometimes you have to pay a little more for quality.

Never heard from then again and they did not return my calls. They wasted my time
