I needed a large mesquite tree trimmed. A previous service did not show up. Ralph provided same day service and was at my house within an hour on short notice. Very fast, clean and friendly. Also has a bucket truck for tall trees which worked great.

Left a "please call me" request on website. Received return message advising they would send email IF they decided to contact me. Needless to say no email and no call. Guess for some reason my needs didn't merit even a call explaining they were busy, weren't accepting new clients at the moment, etc. Very unprofessional way to handle potential clients. I suggest you look elsewhere.

Ralph gave me a quote after I texted a photo of my tree. He wanted to do the job the next morning but I wanted other quotes before hiring him. I was a little skeptical of hiring him because he was a bit "pushy". Now I'll just say he is a go-getter. I hired him and he did a quick and efficient job of taking down the tree and leaving the area clean and free of debris. I would not hesitate to hire him again. His price was well under that given by another company and was comparable to that provided by a thirs company.

Excellent. They arrived promptly, helped us decide on a plan for this problem tree, were very personable, worked steadily and professionally, did an excellent job removing the tree and cleaned up as they went.

This company has all the equipment necessary to do a great job. Arrived ready to work with 3 guys, chain saws, dump truck and front end loader.

Arrogant. Expensive. Non-responsive. I spoke with Ralph Levon the manager on the phone about performing some cleanup work. When I told him what I wanted, he indicated it was very hard work, and not the type he usually does. I wanted him to pull the weeds with the roots out of the ground, not weedwack them off. Also remove 1 large and 2 small bushes, and pull the roots out. He said he would come by the following Sunday at 8:00AM to give me an estimate and possibly do the work. He assured me he would call first. 8:00 Sunday, no call, no Ralph. 8:20 he shows up unannounced. I told him I was expecting him to call first. He said he was late and just came over. He again reiterated how hard the work was and that he didn't usually do that kind of work. We had a discussion about him doing the work that day. He gave me a price that turned out to be more than what others quoted me for the same work later. I told him to go ahead and do the work, and can he do it today? No. I said how about next Saturday. He said sure, said he would contact me, left abruptly. Needless to say, he was a no-show and no-call. Very unprofessional, not honest, and a waste of time.

Ralph and Javier did an immaculate job of weeding my yard and hauling away bricks, rocks, tables, and boards. I can't believe how good my yard looks now. They are both very friendly and professional. Ralph gave me a quote and I asked if they could start right away and they did. They go the extra step to make sure you are completely happy with the job. Even though it wasn't necessary, he used a leaf blower to pick up other little things scattered around my yard. This is the second time I used Affordable Yard & Tree Service in the last 6 months and I will again in the future. You will be glad you hired them.

I contacted Ralph yesterday evening for the first time. He and his employee came out and did the estimate this morning. We worked out a price that was agreeable to both of us and they started work immediately. I am so happy with his work. The area looks perfect. They put in time for the extras like straightening out my bricks that the yucca had messed up in the past years. They cleaned up the leaves. It looks great.

From the estimate phase through carrying out the job, Ralph and his team member gave me the impression that they were very motivated to deliver prompt, careful, and thorough service---and they did! I especially liked Ralph's follow-through in calling me back, as well as later coming over at the times he indicated he would. I initially considered cutting the tree down, but Ralph and the other team member did a wonderful job of shaping it to the satisfaction of both myself and my neighbor. They even cleaned up leaves and debris from this messy, but great shade tree that had accumulated in my neighbor's yard over the past few months. Ralph also provided info to my neighbor on trees in his yard and hauled away a small pile of branches for him at no charge. The guys trimmed three bushes and further cut back two stumps in my yard that were re-sprouting. They said this was quick work and did not charge me for it. Ralph advised me on how to eliminate new sprouts with a non-toxic method. They cleaned up everything, including raked back gravel where they had pulled in their truck. I was very pleased with this service and plan to have them return to do some additional work in my yard in the near future. I highly recommend them for their prompt service, careful work, reasonable fees, and professionalism.

This is the second time we've had Ralph do work for us. Ralph was on time and professional. He did what we asked for and more. Ralph is very knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for what he does. The yard looks amazing!

We recently moved to Tucson and the acacia tree in our front yard had clearly not been maintained for years and was heavily infested with mistletoe. I called Ralph for an appointment. He came by the house a few days later, gave us a good estimate, and did the work that morning. He clearly understood the issues very well and did a professional, healthy and aesthetically pleasing pruning our acacia tree.

Ralph responded right away, he was very clear about what he was going to do. He and his employee were very professional, very fast workers and extremely neat. Overall I'm very pleased with the quality and speed of their work.

When I moved into my house in 2012, I had three Texas Ranger bushes that had just been planted and were set in between my driveway and the neighbors. In 2013, there was a hard freeze, and two died, and I removed them. However, there was one that just would not die, and grew to be a monstrosity. Unfortunately, a desert broom began growing up through the middle, and became unmanageable. I would trim the bush and the broom, but it would grow back with a vengeance, and before I knew it, it needed trimming again. Well, I finally had had enough of it, and needed to remove it. Upon further inspection, I determined that I couldn't do it in a timely manner, so I began looking for someone to do it - someone that had both the equipment and knowledge on how to do it. On Memorial Day, I was sitting in my living room looking for a company to do it, when I came across Affordable Yard and Tree Service, so I thought I'd call. When I called, I spoke with Ralph, who was out on a job, who asked me to call back and leave all the details in a voice mail, and that he would get back in touch with me. That evening, he called, and advised that he could be at the house first thing Tuesday morning to take a look. Well, at 7:15am, Ralph called and said he was on his way. He showed up at 7:30-7:35, and looked at the bush, told me what he would do, and then asked if I would like the bushes in front of the house trimmed up too. I said yes, he gave me a quote that I thought was fair, and he and his associate went right to work. Well, I think 40 mins or so passed, and he was done. He made sure the area where the bush was pulled from was cleaned up, and he cleaned up the area around the bushes in front of the house. All in all, I could not have been more pleased with how things looked, I would absolutely recommend Ralph and his team again!

They arrived right on time. He has been very courteous and responsive to any requests. They have a great attitude, are enthusiastic and hard workers.

Ralph responded to my phone message promptly and arranged a time to estimate the job at my house. When he arrived at the time agreed, we walked the property (front and back of house). Some of work in the front needed immediate attention, so I didn't get other estimates. Maybe I should have, since his price seemed high to me. Since there seemed to be more to be done than I anticipated, we agreed on a price for the front of the property. He and his associate began immediately and finished before noon. They did a very good job of trimming many plants, removing two huge Century plant which had grown giant spires and were falling over. They also hauled many Palm fronds which had fallen from Palms in the back and accumulated on the ground. I may get estimates from others before having my work completed, but I will use Ralph again if he is priced competitively.

Ralph came out and told me exactly what my tree needed, and he delivered! I was very pleased with the result and also very impressed with his knowledge of this type of work. He's actually more of an artist than a tree trimmer. H***, if I wasn't bald, I'd have him give me a d*** haircut...

Provider was immediately available by phone on Wed just before 5:00 p.m, arrived on time at 8:15 a.m. the next day, Thurs, provided very reasonable estimate, began immediately and had the job done within 2 hours. The right company, the right tools and equipment, the right number of workers, at the right price and with the right attitude! Very, very pleased with the completed job!!

I called Ralph based on the reviews given on this site. He showed up on time (6am) and was ready to work. We walked the perimeter of my back yard, and I told him what I needed done. I was prepared to pay premium price, but Ralph's estimate was quite reasonable. My husband recently passed away, and needless to say I have been in a fog these past few months. My back yard was more than neglected and really reflected the death that we (me and my yard) experienced. Ralph was finished and loaded up by 10:30 and asked me to take a look at their work. I was so shocked and was left speechless! He trimmed all of my trees and cleaned up the scatter that had flooded my yard (no easy task). Ralph (and his helper Josh) did far more than I had asked them to and my yard is beautiful again! His hard work has renewed my faith! Ralph and his employee showed up on time, and we walked around the property talking about what needed to be done. We then discussed and agreed on a fair price. After that, he worked quickly and tirelessly to get all the work done -- completely filling his trailer with all the trimmings, dead cactus, etc. He then asked me to walk around the property again with him to make sure all the work was done to my satisfaction. It was. Before he left, I made a second appointment with him to come back and do the same for another part of my property. This second part went just as smoothly as the first. It was a smaller job, for which I was charged $450. Ralph works hard to make sure he understands exactly what you want him to do, gets it done, and then has you inspect it all with him to make sure you're happy. I would not hesitate to hire him again, and recommend his service.

After leaving two messages requesting an appointment, Ralph finally called me to setup one up. I asked him for an appointment a week later on a Friday morning. He asked how early he could come by to which I replied 6am. He said he would come that morning but would not commit to a particular time stating that he would call the day before to finalize the time. He didn't call that Thursday but did call Friday at 9:30 am asking if he could by in ~30 minutes. He called 30 minutes later to ask if he could come even later. I told him as long he could arrive before noon that he could reschedule. He then told me that he could not make it before noon so perhaps we should reschedule to another day. I told him I would find a different contractor.
