Austin came out and performed and inspection and cleaned our fireplace. Very polite, knowledgeable and has gave us good advice and recommendations.

Service was excellent. Austin was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about use of the fireplace too.

Our fireplace has never been in better shape! Chris and Austin (father and son) went far beyond the call of duty to ensure that our firebox, chimney, flue and damper are safe and in prime working order. After our annual cleaning, Austin suggested a re-coating of our flue and a rebuild of our firebox, all with the goal of safety and efficiency in mind. Over the course of a few days, the work was done perfectly and is a sight to behold. Chris and Austin are true craftsmen and perfectionists, which is quite refreshing these days. After each workday, they explained the progress, outlined the upcoming tasks clearly, and the cleanup was impeccable. We give Affordable Chimney Sweep the highest recommendation possible.

Austin and Chris were exceptional. Everything was totally explained, and the work was done in a timely manner. I expected dust and ash escaping into my home but this was not the case. Everything was completed in the given time frame and mow I have a perfectly functioning fireplace that I know is safe. I can't recommend them enough.

They brought in all their tools for cleaning the chimney and put down a drop cloth. I think they left the area cleaner than it was prior to their arrival.

Very easy to get in contact with, returned my call promptly. I was very surprised to get an appointment so quickly. Chris arrived on time and asked us exactly what we needed, ( an inspection and cleaning) and promptly went to work. Had cloths to cover the area around the fireplace, so there was no cleanup for us. Very personable, professional, and really impressed us! Can't say enough good things about him and the service. He recommended some work that should be done in the future, to make it safer, chimney is 28 years old, so we will use him again for those repairs! Excellent service!

Lovely people. Very helpful and knowledgeable. When Austin decided we had problems with the gas fireplace (in which he is not yet expert) he called Chris, who came right out. The fireplace was cleaned and reassembled and the problem (a blocked gas jet) fixed right away. These guys know their stuff, are a pleasure to deal with (prompt and good communications as well as nice), and their prices are very reasonable. At no point did they pressure us to do any work, as a matter of fact, rather the opposite. I will definitely use their services again.

Austin called to say he would be arriving a little earlier than the scheduled appointment! He was knowledgeable and professional. He took care to cover and protect the surrounding area as he worked. He shared several safety tips and made recommendations for how I could maintain the chimney. I recommend this father-son company without reservation.

Chris arrived on time and got right to work, carefully covering the hearth and furniture to keep the soot/dust contained. He inspected and cleaned the chimney from top and below. We were definitely overdue for a cleaning - it had been many years since the last one and we use our fireplace regularly when it is cold. He used a vacuum to suck up a lot of the dust and smaller debris and showed me the results before shoveling up the rest of the pile and taking it outside for disposal. He took his time (over 2 hours) to do a thorough job. Chris recommended a flue cap and to build the crown to reduce water damage in the chimney - he left a pamphlet with more information. I was pleased with his work and would recommend him to others. I felt the service cost was fair, considering the time and expertise required to do it correctly.

This is the 2nd or 3rd time that I used this company, and the service was great both times. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The only drawback is that you have to leave a message sometimes and wait for a callback (This is something that bugs me, but worth the wait for a good company.)

I have used this company twice. Last year he came and cleaned both chimneys and put the metal caps on both chimneys and this year I had him come out and clean just the one chimney that needed it. He is very professional and knowledgable and he is also very prompt and responsive.

These are the only people I have ever used and I have my chimney cleaned every two years or so. They are punctual and take great care in containing an ash mess. Its a service that doesn't take long but that homeowners often overlook. Serviceman are polite and knowledgeable, advising me on the condition of my chimney and any brick or mortar breach I might want to think about. Love them!

Very professionalal, arrived on time, and was very knowledgeable. Our chimney was cleaned and the service provider was able to tell us about our chimney from his rooftop inspection. Knowing that we were converting the fireplace to gas, he also recommended a monitor to use. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing this service.

Affordable Chimney Sweep is a first class, family operated business with certified chimney sweeps. For two and a half solid days, our dilapidated fireplace was worked on. During that time, the chimney sweeps and the mason they worked with were friendly, professional, and unobtrusive. Great care was taken to prevent the dust from their work entering the living room. Any questions were answered thoroughly and to our satisfaction. The work that was done was very professional, our hearth is beautiful and the chimney safe to use. We will be using Affordable Chimney again in the future and highly recommend them.

Had them come out for an inspection of the fireplace, but they said that the inspection could best be conducted if the fireplace was first cleaned -which added $40 more to the inspection. However, what he said made sense. He also provided a bit of "technical" information regarding the chimney and how it is functioning. Good job, on time, and to the point.

I provided this once. They were punctual, informative and stayed till the job was done. There work was excellent.
