Description of Work: My windows were leaking (from the top of their frames). John (Adobe King) worked on them personally and successfully repaired what others were not able to! He is the only repair service that I will call on for such matters.

Description of Work: Requested bid for repairs on the house. He gave this, but also gave bid for putting a coating on the entire home, which was incredibly expensive and not what we requested. He was not willing to do any of the work without also doing a coating on the entire home. We would have considered his investment if we were planning to stay in the home longer.

+ -1 moreThe crew was top-notch: they worked well together, provided explanations to me of the work, techniques and progress, were cheerful and professional, and cleaned up after themselves. The repairs were expertly completed and the outcome was better than I thought possible. There was an artistic quality to the repairs that stands in contrast to work completed in the past by other companies. I also appreciate being educated by the owner, Mr. John Schimon, and his staff so that I have more helpful knowledge of this building material, as well as an enhanced appreciation.
Description of Work: Repaired cracks in a burnt adobe residence.

+ -1 moreThis large job was done over several days by two skilled professionals. All work was explained to us in advance and we knew just what to expect. The repairs both to the patio wall and the three windows inside our house were outstanding! We have sealed our own home ourselves several times in the past, but will never do it again. The job was expensive for us, but it was well worth it. Mr. John Schimon was easy to contact, and if not in, called back promptly. His workers were friendly and informative also. I would recommend this company to others, and we would certainly use them again.
Description of Work: Adobe King sealed our adobe home, repaired many bricks and sealed our large adobe patio wall, repaired and reinstalled a patio gate, repaired and sealed our chimney cap, and repaired damaged bricks around three inside windows.

Description of Work: I purchased a 50 year old townhouse in Green Valley with a burnt adobe brick and white stucco exterior. The previous owners constructed a concrete monstrosity in the front courtyard leaving much concrete on the brick. Also, there were numerous nails, nail holes, cracked mortar and brick. I removed 2 iron bars from windows leaving holes to fill in. Overall, the brick had not been maintained for decades. Adobe King restored all damaged brick and mortar, removed all the nails, filled in the holes, touched up paint on bricks and sealed all the brick. Sealing brick should occur before exterior painting and Adobe King worked with my contractor's renovation schedule to do work in the correct sequence.
