Description of Work: Tim was great. He arrived promptly explained my problem fixed it. He also took the time to tell me how to prevent this from happening again and he checked the entire door. Fixed the rubber on the bottom and sprayed all necessary parts. I will recommend him to anyone who needs this service. I live in the three points area of Tucson and it is hard to get people to come out. Tim never hesitated and arrived the very next day.

Description of Work: The technician arrived on time, very friendly and knowledgeable. He said there was a short in the wire of the opener itself, and even if he fixed it, it may not last. The door was too heavy for the opener, and both are very old. He fixed it and it is still working.

Description of Work: I called Able Garage Door Service to help me with a problem with my garage door opener. One call had me in touch with the owner. He asked all pertinent questions regarding the make of the opener and what the function problem was. I made the appointment for a day after our conversation. The company consists of one person so the man on the phone will be the man in your garage. He was on time for our appointment, diagnosed the problem in minutes, had the correct part in the truck, and charged me exactly what he had estimated. Not only did he repair the opener but also gave a quick service to the garage door itself as part of the service. Able Garage Door Service gets my highest recommendation.

Description of Work: Just called. We have several properties and needed a new door and 1 door repaired. A completely rude man answered the phone (Tim) and bullied my wife asking her technical questions she didn't know. I clearly heard him being obnoxious on the speaker phone. We told him we won't work with bad attitudes. Call Garage door repair of tucson instead - they were much better - we've worked with them in past. Only tried able due to Angie's list - but they are rude.

Description of Work: I backed my car into the garage door (garage door was opening, not quite at the top yet) and the garage door was bent and off the rollers. Don't ask about my vehicle-- I still can't believe this happened! Anyway, I got the name of a garage door person and checked it out on Angie's list and noticed that Tim (Able Garage Door) had more positive feedback so instead I called him. He came out the following morning exactly when he said. He put the door back on the rollers, straightened it out as best he could, and got it working again in no time at all. It looks good as new from the outside, which is all I care about (don't want the HOA on my back!). He was knowledgeable and gave me options: (1) the bottom panel needs to be replaced from the damage, but this garage door isn't being made anymore; (2) I could get a new garage door and gave the price including installation for one; (3) now that this door is working again, I should probably opt to just use this door until it is worn out, and then it would be time to replace it. Nice guy.

Description of Work: I had a broken door spring, so the door was basically inoperative. Tim (Hale) was out the next day. He was professional and punctual and the door was quickly fixed. I was not able to stay and inspect the work, but I felt comfortable leaving him with a check. When I returned later in the day the door functioned perfectly and all was in order.
