I had a break-in at my house, and wanted to make my house more secure. I worked with Curtis, who came to my house and showed me how the system worked. He then returned when I decided to go with Cox, and worked with me to develop my system and determine price. He was able to give me a bit of a deal to meet the price of a competitor. Curtis was friendly, informative, and ensued confidence. I do not remember the name of the tech who installed the system a couple of days later, but he was professional and efficient. Since installation, I've had a few glitches (it is technology, after all), and I was able to resolve these over the phone quickly. I would recommend Cox Home Security highly.

In April 2012 we had Cox Home Security come and show us their service. They were very professional and didn't try to sell us something we did not need. We decided to contract with them. The installer was on time, very knowledgeable and professional. We were able to change what sensors we wanted installed when the technician came even if it was different then what was on the original contract I signed. All Cox employees were very down to earth on what I needed and telling me the options available. At installation the technician did not rush anything and went over all aspects of controlling the system including the computer and cell phone app available. He wanted all questions answered. We have had the service for a month now and love it. We have total control over the system being able to activate all or only some of the sensors/motion detectors installed. We also like the fact that we can set up people with different passwords so we can tell who activated it or turned it off. We also can give a password to someone who is house sitting when we are on vacation and then disable it when we come back. The equipment is very modern and easy to use. We can also set and change at any time what and how they need to contact us when events happen. When we are on vacation we could have a text message sent to my phone when the system was deactivated or a door was opened, etc. When we returned I changed it so I don't get that anymore. We love the total control features. I would recommend that if someone is looking for an alarm system to check it out. Very pleased and happy with it.
