Mike and his son Matt are consummate professionals. They have done several things for us including painting our new house inside before we moved in, Repaired a crack in the roof stucco. Repaired and painted damaged wood posts on back patio. They uninstalled then reinstalled a built in microwave oven so I could thoroughly clean it. They replaced a spray hose of kitchen faucet, hung new mirrors in bathroom, trimmed closet doors after carpet was installed and repaired a front porch light. I can't remember all the things they have done right now. We are still using them to do so many things and will continue to hire them. They are knowledgeable, honest and fair. ,

I have hired Mike before, and as usual, he and his son were right on time. They got right to the work and got it done relatively quickly taking in to account the height of the room. My wife is really picky and she was totally satisfied with the outcome. I already have some additional projects for Mike and son as soon as the budget allows for them!

He knew all the tricks. Was done in 20 minutes. Will hire again as needed. Very fair price.

Mike responded the same day to my inquiry and came by the following day to assess the problem. He gave us an estimate range, as he couldn't tell how extensive the damage was until he opened the wall. He came by on several successive days to complete the work. We are very satisfied with the result. He always called ahead to let us know exactly when he would arrive and called again if there was any change. He was extremely professional in his manner and paid a great deal of attention to detail. He was meticulous and thorough and did great quality work. He explained everything he did and was going to do and answered all our questions patiently. The charge for the work fell within the original estimate. He and his son have the best manners of any service professionals I've ever met. I highly recommend this service and will use them for any future work. It is wonderful to have someone local I can trust to do any job efficiently and well.

I could not be happier with the service My Handy Helper provided, and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the Sahuarita, Green Valley, and Tubac area. I am just slightly outside their normal service area, but they made an exception and agreed to do my project anyway as I was under some severe time constraints. They were extremely prompt, showing up exactly when they said they would. The price quote was quite reasonable, and the final price actually turned out to be slightly lower. They had no problems explaining what they were doing & why every step of the way when I expressed an interest in trying to do some of the other rooms in my house myself. They did an excellent job, especially considering how much they had to rush due to my time constraints.

The result is stunning; what a great job. Michael and Mathew's approach to this job gives me confidence in using them for anything around the house. Michael suggested some additional texturing at no additional charge . . . Professional-looking outcome. Plus, just real, decent people.

It was really nice to see that list of problems/chores get taken care of in just one day! I was amazed by Mike and Matt's professionalism, honesty, friendliness, intelligence, work ethic and skills -- communication skills as well as trade skills. It's a real pleasure to see this combination of highly skilled workmanship and great customer service at a reasonable price.

It went well; we started out doing just a few things and more items just kept getting thrown onto the list. It has really become a great relationship with this service provider.

Mike and Matt are very competent, congenial workers. Mike explained everything clearly, including pricing. When he had to be out of town for serious personal reasons, he always kept us apprised. We would definitely call them again for future work.

Mike returned my call quickly, understood what the issue was with my front gate, and gave me a free estimate after going to the house to see the situation. I was not in town and found it super easy to arrange to get the work done as Mike is prompt and keeps his word when committing to scheduling and staying in contact. The work was high quality and reasonably priced, everything was cleaned-up, and Mike's personality is professional yet friendly. The whole transaction was painless and very satisfying. Mike did an awesome job on every project he did for me. I had let a lot of things go, and he did an excellent job restoring them, such as the gate and shed siding. My dishwasher, which I had installed by a plumber over a year ago, never drained correctly. Mike figured out what was wrong right away and fixed it. He determined the cause of the leaking faucet in the laundry room. He suggested replacing the posts instead of buying a new faucet to save me money. During the time he worked with me, he presented different options to me to help me save money, which was very much appreciated. He was always punctual. If an emergency came up with another client, which only happened once, he contacted me as soon as he knew to reschedule our appointment. He was always very courteous and professional. When he made suggestions, he was not pushy and encouraged me to make the decision. Mike was neat and orderly and didn't have loud music blaring while he worked, which I've experienced with other handymen. I have other projects that I need to have done, and I will be using Mike for those projects, as well. It is so unusual to find a gem like Mike that I can't say enough positive things about him!

He did a top-notch job on everything. Mike is very courteous and is very meticulous in everything he does. After he left everything was all neat and clean with all jobs done well. He has some great ideas-the magnetic door stop from the family room to the garage is so useful!! Never would have thought to do this..I will have Mike back when I accumulate some more projects.

Mike is the consummate professional. He responded very quickly to my request for an appointment to walk thru and look at my projects. He took notes, asked good questions, then emailed me the next day with complete estimates. I responded by email, he phoned right away and we scheduled time for his work. The night before the job he called and re-confirmed, letting me know more precisely what time he would arrive the following day and telling me that he would call when he was on his way. The following day - good to his word - he phoned and said he was "two miles" away, arrived promptly thereafter. When he arrived he blanketed the bathroom floor before he began his work. He progressed thru his work efficiently and quietly - I actually forgot he was in the house. The work is perfect. I couldn't be happier. Overall, his professional demeanor and calm, quiet presence are what I found most impressive. I have already asked him to send me an estimate for some other small jobs that we've been putting off. I could not recommend him more highly.

Mike is very professional, We also found him very personable and approachable. He showed up on time and his work ethic was excellent. The job he performed repairing a large crack in the living room ceiling, along with a couple of smaller cracks elsewhere was excellent. He also ended up painting our ceiling at our request as well!

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!! There are not words for how wonderful Mike was to our family. He got me in on an emergency basis and did all that I asked and more. He answered questions for me so I could do things on my own. If you need a handyman for anything call Mike.

I had several small jobs to do to get my house ready to sell. Mike looked over the work that needed to be done and obtained what he needed to complete the projects. He had to fill in and repaint several holes in the stucco on the front porch made by woodpeckers. He had to replace a strip of door frame, which included painting the strip to match the rest of the door frame. I had a gouge in the kitchen baseboard that needed repairing. He first filled this in with wood putty and let that dry overnight. The next day he sanded and painted this section of the baseboard and caulked between the baseboard and tile. There was a section at the bottom of the door frame by the patio slider that he repaired with caulking. He repaired another small section of the door frame by the front door. He replaced a GFI outlet in the garage that was causing the outdoor lights to not come on. Mike did such a wonderful job on all these projects that I cannot tell where the original problems had been. He takes pride in his work and is not satisfied until the work is done right. He is also very personable and cares about his customers. I am so glad I found Mike.

Mike is very nice. He arrives on time and is very conscientious in his work. He is very patient with our dog even though she barks a lot at him.

Although Mike was on vacation when we first contacted him by email, he still responded within 24 hours and then kept the communication going throughout the job, either by phone or by email (my preference). Having just returned from a few days off he had quite a few jobs to attend to, but came out and gave us an estimate on the jobs we had lined up along with a date for the work. He may not be the cheapest handyman in town, but he's fair and does good work. He's also reliable (shows up on time) and explains everything he's going to do before he does it, taking pictures of the roof in our case and then does the repairs and showed me pictures of his repairs. That way I didn't have to climb up on the roof! We were very pleased with the work done and should we need repairs of this sort in the future, will be sure to write/call him again.

We just moved into a new house and Mike assisted us with several things: installed an assist bar, hung some large paintings, did some minor electrical, assembled patio dinning set, did some painting and gas plumbing work.

It gives me great pleasure to write this review for Mike (My Handy Helper) because he is simply the best! It is rare to find someone that you can trust and rely on that will do a good job. I have worked with various handymen over the past 35 years, and Mike is the best person I've hired. Mike has been so helpful in giving me cost-savings advice and has a great eye for decorating, design and colors, which is a real plus. Not only is Mike extremely good at everything he does, he is very detail oriented, clean and tidy, and he is very knowledgeable, very professional, kind, well-mannered, and above all honest. Mike has the key to my home and has worked in my home while I was away. He has worked with me on MY schedule, even coming to work for me on a Saturday. Mike has replaced locks and hinges on all of my outside doors, he has installed new light fixtures in my garage and my laundry room, he has fixed doors that I thought would surely have to be replaced, and now they work like they are brand new. I have a long list of things that I want Mike to do that should keep him busy for quite a while including painting (interior and exterior), repairing drywall, installing a microwave, installing new faucets and new fixtures to mention just a few. Mike is easy to work with, and he enjoys his work. He responds to every phone call and e-mail. You never have to wait for a response. I recently purchased a home in Green Valley. There were many things that needed repair and several things I wanted to replace, and areas of the home I want to redecorate. When I first moved in I hired a landscaper and a handyman right away based on personal references from friends and neighbors. Both the landscaper and the handyman were a disaster, so not knowing what to do next, I decided I would join Angie's List. After reading all of the wonderful reviews on Angie's List about Mike I called him, and I am really happy that I did!

Mike called me back the same day to make an appointment to give me an estimate. Mike was on time and professional. After looking at the projects I had, he was back in less than a week to complete them. Mike was thorough and completed everything in a about four hours. My wife and I were very happy with his work. So much so, that we are having him come back to paint the bedrooms.

It was a good experience. They kept me informed of what was going on. He evaluated the project, what needed to be done, and basically did it. They communicated quite well with me. Their price was reasonable.
