This guy was so very, very good. Even though he couldn't do the job, he called me right back. He gave hints and tips on what products would work well with a rental. He really did a good job of trying to be a good guy. You could tell he believed in the work he did even though he wasn't able to help us. He was very personable and very responsible in the way that he conducts his business.

They came when they said they would, finished on time (important as our tenant didn't have the use of the kitchen while they were working on it; they said one week and they stuck to it, even staying until after 6 PM one day to finish). They did a beautiful job, great attention to detail, and even suggested a few things that made especially the kitchen countertop tiling much more attractive than it would have been the way we'd been planning to do it. Everyone on the 4-man crew was extremely polite and gracious. Luis even came back promptly and fixed a detail we hadn't noticed had been left unfinished (sort of hidden next to the stove) before we paid them in full for the job. We've had many experiences with asking post-payment contractors to finish or correct their work that led to weeks of unanswered calls or worse; this was a dream. The only problem we had was initially getting him to come and do an estimate; but once he committed, he and his crew were right there when they said they'd be, and performed above our expectations. I would highly recommend Mr. Barrera and his crew for any future work; they're also skilled in other new-house and remodelling construction arenas.
