Our garage door experienced issues that where it would not open. It was not a broken spring but rather a garage door opener issue. My wife was stuck, literally as her car was in the garage, and we were initially told it would be a couple of days until they could come out. My wife called Universal directly, pleaded her case, and they came out within 30 minutes. Now that's customer service. The tech gave us an honest appraisal of our 15+ year old garage door opener, made the needed adjustments and gave us a 30 day guarantee on the work. We are very please with Universal, will use them again and recommend them to friends.

I contacted universal garage doors at 6pm and he was at my house at 7:30pm the same day.

They came out immediately, and looked at the opener to see if it could be repaired - they did not 'try' to sell up, but we did decide to just get a new opener....he had one with him, installed it in one hour, and it is absolutely perfect! VERY good value for a quality garage door opener, beautifully installed! It's so quiet now we can't even hear it go up and down!! VERY HAPPY
