Description of Work: Diagnose a sewer problem. Used Rotor and made Video. Paid the cost above which was probably reasonable. Quoted $5000 to fix problem and an additional |$2000 for concrete replacement done in professional manner. Or they do but |said,"it would not be best job as they were a plumbing co not concrete co. |Quality of work done-B Punctuality and Responsiveness-for first call an A but for sending us video-D Professionalism-First man B His "supervisor" F |Both wanted job and gave hard sell. "Supvisor Because of his inappropriate |and agresssive manner, we choose another plumbing company to fix our sewer. Will say first man, woman on tele, and a man she transferred me to by tele. acceptable behavior but there was not appropriate follow through and I was sent back to "Supervisor who contiued with the obnoxious manner.

Description of Work: Sunny Plumbing came to give a bid on repairs to my elderly cousin's home, which had a small leak in the shower. They told us upon inspection, with their free camera inspection of her pipes showed that there was a crack in the pipes under her home and that every time she ran water, used the shower or flushed the toilet, all the water and sewage was leaking out under her home damaging the foundation. They said they would dig a trench under her home and replace the pipes. Even though we told them several times that we wanted to get other bids they just kept on for hours and would not leave her home. Finally they wore her down with gloom and doom stories of how this was an urgent situation and what damage it was doing. Finally, my 80 year old cousin, worn down by their HARD SELL, fatigue and hunger, with worker after being at her home all day, at 8:30 signed the contract. I just happened to call her early the next day and at 7:30am they were there to begin the work. They were asked to leave the premises. We had two other, plumbing companies come out and give us bids, all used the same camera equipment to look at her pipes, and they both found that there was no major leak as Sunny has indeed said. There was a small area that was wearing thin that could be replaced for about $250.00. But it certainly was not in the scope of $45,000. Steer clear of Sunny Plumbing. They are fast talking and slick!!

+ -1 moreWe had purchased a refrigerator and when the delivery company came to deliver and install it, they broke the water valve behind the refrigerator that connects the water supply to the refrigerator. I had to clean up the mess and contact someone. We were without water and I have two young children who live in my home. The person who broke the valve left and said that the valve was corroded and there was nothing he could do and was not allowed to fix it. We contacted the person who sold us the refrigerator but they were slow to respond. We called the Sunny Plumber who was already scheduled to come out the following week to replace and install our water heater which was leaking and agreed to send someone right away. They had someone at my home in an hour even though I was told that someone might be her in two hours. The technician ordered the parts and replaced the water heater with a top quality water heater. He then replaced the and repaired the valve behind the refrigerator even though he had not been responsible for it breaking. He was extremely thorough and even double checked his work. I would definitely be referring friends to this company.

+ -1 moreThis company (The Sunny Plumber) used to be an ARS Roto Rooter franchise, and I think they have some affiliation with GOETTL HVAC. Anyway, we USED to have a relationship with them, but no longer. They did a and quot;complementaryand quot; video analysis of our pipes and discovered an allegedly massive problem with our main line going out the house. Apparently this was going to require $2500 to clean out, and another $4000 or so to do the repairs. The problem was a separation between two clay sections of pipe. The entire thing felt fishy and curious, but they did a great job of injecting fear into the conversation. Lots of doomsday scenarios that I'm sure make you want to just write a check to make the problem go away. I thanked them and hired another company (via Angie's List) to do their own video inspection. Without telling them what the and quot;issueand quot; was, they examined 80ft of our main line. Lo and behold, they didn't see any significant issues. In fact, the technician said and quot;It looks great. I wouldn't do anything. If this was my house, I'd be fine with it.and quot; He did find a small section of 2 clay pipes that MIGHT be an issue, but he said it wasn't anything to worry about. When I asked for a quote to have it repaired, he said and quot;Shouldn't be much more than $1000 in a worst case scenario. Probably around $800.and quot;
Description of Work: Replace a toilet that I provided. The cost was $300 (!!) for labor. The toilet was only $230 from Home Depot. BTW Home Depot charges $99 for installation. less than sighgreater than

+ -1 moreThese guys were excellent. We live in Tucson and they are just starting to provide service in our city. They were absolutely professional, knowledgeable, and there was no pressure to purchase service that was not needed. They came prepared to use a camera, but found that this was not the most efficient way to ameliorate the problem with our drains. We would ask these guys to come back for any plumbing service. They were very competent and trustworthy, and the price was very reasonable for the hard work that they had to do on our old pipes.

+ -1 moreSunny Plumber snaked every drain in my house to the tune of $6000. I was hesitant to have them do this, but they presented good arguments for doing so. The problem came when they wanted to replace every shut-off valve in my home at $245 per valve! This came to a huge total, so they said they would do it for nearly half that price. The total still came to nearly $6000 again! I told them to hold off. I called two other plumbers who both quoted $35-$40 per valve. I had one come to the house to do the work. He said they were fine and didn't need to be replaced! I felt completely scammed by Sunny Plumber and just want others to be aware!
Description of Work: Sunny Plumber ran a snake down my vegetable sink in the kitchen, found blockage to the main line outside my home, convinced me to snake all of the drains in my house. Then they wanted to replace every shut-off valve throughout the house.
