It took two weeks to book appointment to have a someone come out. Few days before appointment the consultant called to reschedule appointment, which was fine. The day of the the new appointment the consultant did not show up. Nor did they call to say they were not coming. Tried calling main office but could not get through. Had to do an online chat with a representative who then told me a manager would get ahold of me to discuss the issue. It has been two weeks and still no contact from manager.

Please contact a local vendor. Terminix was a huge waste of my time. I contacted Terminix to have someone come out as we had birds nesting in the attic crawl space of our new home. The bird blocks had all been pecked out by woodpeckers over the years. It turns out, many pest control companies do not work with birds, so I was limited in my options. I received a call and was given a two-hour window in which a tech would arrive two days later. I was promised a call one half-hour before the tech's arrival to confirm the time. An hour later, Terminix called again to schedule an appointment for me. I told the caller I had just spoken with her and scheduled an appointment. (That should have been my first red flag.) On the day of the appointment, 15 minutes prior to close of my two-hour window, I called to ask if someone was going to be coming to my home, as I should have received a call about the arrival time by then. I was transferred to the next tier of the call center, where a representative was authorized call the local office and get an update for me. No one answered when the representative called, so she left a message and said I would receive a call back from her if she heard anything. I made two more calls to Terminix that day. The second was much like the first. I was transferred to the next tier of customer service, where the representative tried to call the local office, to no avail. On the third call, I was informed that the initial call I received to schedule did not result in my *actually* being scheduled. A request was made to the local Terminix office to come to my house at the time I was told, but it never got confirmed by the local office. They just requested the time on my behalf. (This is the first I heard of my appointment not being confirmed. Each representative I had spoken with gave me the impression that I had been scheduled for a tech to show up at my home during the initial two-hour window I scheduled.) Basically, I was told my appointment request was in the Twilight Zone, with no guarantees I would ever have someone show up at my house - let alone have any follow-up. I never had any follow-up but was better off. I found an incredible local vendor whose knowledge and customer service are spot-on. Big box companies like Terminix simply won't go the extra mile for you.

I found that I was being billed for services that were not being performed. I tried to call Terminix, unfortunately, I could not get past the call center. After two weeks of being told that a manager would call me back to discuss the problem, I finally gave up.

Terrible. Asked them to come out several time for a bee infestation. The technician spent a few minutes spraying in one part of the gutter. He did this on two occasions and we still had bees. The painter I was using at the time took matters into his own hands, sprayed something into the gutter and that was the end of the bees that were stinging him while he was trying to paint. Also, had them come back out for mice that continued to appear even though they had set traps. Cats doing a better job keeping the mice in check. I started to feel like I was paying a lot of money for nothing. Wrote a check for $118 each quarter and still had pests. The service technician was nice and polite, but he never really did much.

We have had Terminix for almost 3 years and it seems each time there is less and less customer service. Last quarter the technician was about 6 hours late for his appointment. He said it was a scheduling issue - so I can not hold it against him. However I did file a complaint on line with Terminix and never heard a word back from them. Today the guy did his regular service and the report is very vague. I called to get more information and was put on hold for over 10 minutes. Now I have to wait for the technician to call me back. I am seriously thinking about finding a new exterminator.

I use their 1-800 number to contact them, although I assume the guy has a local office. They come every three months. It is about $90 a visit. Their price is very reasonable for what they do. We don't have a pre-arranged time for them to come.

I am very happy with them. I have a contract with them. The guy that comes out is always the same fellow. They have a good price. The technician is a very responsive guy. He gave me his cell phone number and he works in the neighborhood. I called him once and he came out immediately because he was in the neigborhood. Another time I heard sound in my attic and he came to check it out. He is very good at taking care of problems. I’ve had them for many years. They are very professional.

After getting call in Friday to schedule appointment and agreeing to time that worked best for inspection I confirmed time. Then a few minutes before inspection was to start received call from inspector that he couldnt make it...I was very upset as I had made arrangements with my sons to be at house to let inspector in...needless to say this screwed up everyone morning and since his happened in a Saturday couldn't find anyone else as all offices were closed for weekend. And my sons are leaving town on Monday so house will be vacant for weeks before I return...Incredible inconvenience and not certain damage that could be done by carpenter ants during this time. Will never use this company again...

I contacted the company via their website, put my info down, and was promptly contacted by a rep. We scheduled an appointment for the following day between 3-5p.m. I explained I couldn't be home until 3:30. She said that was fine. I rushed home after work, arrived around 3:15, and waited, and waited, and waited. No show. I contacted the customer service rep. They left messages for the technician. He couldn't get a hold of him. He said he left a message to have him call. Never heard back. I guess they don't want my business. I'm surprised they got as good a grade as they did on Angie's List.

My experience with them is average. This is the third time they had to come back to resolve a problem I think could have been resolved the first time around. Not that they're not nice, they're excellent as far as attitude when they're here but they have not done what they should have done. The guy is nice and he gets in there but I don't believe he's done all he could do because why did he have to keep coming back. They do come back the minute they called. Each time it's a different person so it's kind of like I'm talking all over again, that's where my problem is at. They're punctual. When they say they're coming, at that time they come.

fThe experience with Terminex went very well. It took almost two more almost full days for them to locate and remove all of the animals as well as close up the house. This was no suit up set a trap take 30-45 min walk through sort of thing. This was all day in and out of the crawl space multiple times, up in the attic, on the roof, all around the house a bunch of times. Plus, this all took place on those 90 degree days we had this spring. They made me aware of a delicate plumbing situation I had under the house. This notification allowed me to address it while it was small. I did their "Exclusion program" which closes up access to the house for wildlife of all kinds. This meant they crawled through the house identifying entrance points for animals to come into my house and garage and then block animal access. They made a nice looking breathable chimney cap for an old chimney that is a vent, made wells at the outside crawlspace vents that were reinforced, made cap/plug to fit around the heater so nothing in the crawls space can come into the garage, and trimmed a tree that made really easy access to the house. They had a van that had lots of tools and materials to use for this sort of custom work. They made me aware of a delicate plumbing issu The" Exclusion program" is the the sort of thing I would not think I would need but after seeing all of the damage these animals did to my vapor barrier and my floor insulation the exclusion is well worth the cost to protect my investment. Also many heat/vent systems take air from under the house to circulate into the house. I did not want to risk my health by having air with animal waste circulating in my home. They got me scheduled quickly, the work was completed within the estimated time even though there were more animals than at first thought to be "in residence" and the quote did not change with this information. One service I talked to the price was on a sliding scale by the animal. That would have been frustrating because I was sure there was only one animal down there at first. Terminex also was able to remove and haul away the ruined vapor barrier and ripped and soiled insulation and replace both the vapor barrier and the insulation. The work was done in a very timely fashion, the cost for this was in the mid -high range of estimates I had for the same work. Plus, their insulation has a rodent repellent aspect to it. They had products that were safe for child/pet exposure, I have birds which are VERY sensitive to chemical exposure. I would call them with any problem or suspected problem. My project would not have been as large and expensive IF they had been the first call I made.
Description of Work: They got rid of the animals that had taken up residence under my house when NO ONE else would. The cold snap this winter had weakened my crawl space door to the point that animals seeking shelter from the cold could get in and did. I fixed the crawl space door and then wanted to get the animals out, they were tearing up my vapor barrier as evidenced by their numerous muddy foot prints all over my garage. Then,they were tearing up my garage looking for food because I fixed the crawl space door. I realized I had a feral cat living under my house and repeated attempts to "let them out" failed. I called another company that boasted of live trapping and humane removal came set traps and did not set them correctly so we fed the cat on the first try, they set the traps again and we caught a cat but the company would not return to remove the cat!!!. A local gardner assisted me in getting the cat out of the trap. I am thinking this is the end of my animal problems - no I hear more cries, see more foot prints and more things are chewed, torn and ripped in the garage. I called a page worth of numbers I got from the Humane Society and Animal Control, lots of groups and individuals that work with distressed animals not one found me r"right" for their services. Then I went down the list of exterminators, most were busy (big year for exterminators) and scheduled way out months. Several with time said that they did not do that kind of work with this scale of animal. Very frustrating! At last, I called Terminex, thinking they did only bugs. But they had a person on staff that looks at bigger pest problems and he came out to evaluate my problem. Polite, on time helpful this guy crawled throughout the crawl space and all around the attic and through out the process that was to follow he and his crew ended ended up flushing out 2 MORE CATS AND 2 POSSUMS!!

I've used this company for about six years and have been pleased with the service and results. I have quarterly service and only called them back once to deal with yellow jackets. They returned within 24 hours of my call at no extra charge.

Terminix was supposed to come provide us with a bid for service. On Wednesday, we scheduled it for Friday and were told that the provider would be here between 3 and 5 and would give us a call prior to showing up. At 5:30, we called and were told that they were unable to get in touch with the provided who was scheduled to come out. The call center then called the manager, and they were unable to get a hold of the manager either. We took time off from work to be here for the service call; to not show up is lousy business practice. Very disappointing service.

I was a loyal customer for about ten years. I paid for the quarterly service consistently. After years for business with them, I forgot one payment. They were on my like ugly on a gorilla. When I paid the bill, I fired them. Then they started harassing me with sales calls. It took months to get them to stop. I am still furious.

They did it quickly and they did an excellent job. They were very thorough. They were expensive but they did a great job. It was a week long process to take care of everything. They were very quiet and you didn’t even know they were there. They were in and out quickly. They were good people.

After completing the inspection, they also gave us a insulation bid of $5,400 that was much higher than the company we hired at the price of $2,200. I was shocked when he came up with price. He wanted to rip all of the insulation out and re-do the barriers. That was not necessary as there wasn’t anything wrong with what we had.

I was a customer of Integrity Pest Control for years and at some point the company was bought out by Terminix approximately 4-5 years ago. I continued using Terminix at $45.00/mo for rodent and ant control. Every year from April to September the ants would be a problem. I consistently had to ask my service professional to spray for ants when it was clear that it was an ongoing problem. .He would tell me that I needed to make sure that no pet food was left out and to caulk any and all cracks where the ants could enter into my home. I did all that and more. It became more and more of an issue with the so called spraying being ineffectual. I attempted to call the office on a couple of occasions and also tried to call the service man himself to express my displeasure. After the attempts to contact those individuals with no luck I spoke to another local company Environmental Pest Control to get there take on my ant infestation. After ONE treatment the ants were 95% gone. What the heck was Terminix doing? All that money spent for nothing. Also, the bait stations that were to be serviced monthly for rat control were found to be moldy and thus ineffective. I'm so angry that I didn't attempt to find another company to service my home sooner. I am again able to leave pet food out for my animals and have had no ants inside my home since that first treatment thanks to Environmental Pest Control. The final straw came when I called the Terminix customer service department to discontinue my monthly service I was asked why I was cancelling . The gentleman on the other end of the line literally cut me off in mid sentence not allowing me to finish my explanation. I have to ask myself just how important I was to them as a customer when I wasn't even allowed to voice my grievance. I give Terminix a very strong "F" all the way around. My advice.....call around to your local companies and leave Terminix alone.
