In late April 2017, I worked with Sunny Energy to install solar PV on our home. I had done a lot of research prior to committing to solar and spoken to a few solar installers before committing to Sunny Energy. I chose Sunny Energy because they were using some of the latest technology in solar panels at the time (monocrystalline), which would give me the greatest efficiency for our roof size. The sales and support staff were very friendly and were continually updating and informing me of the process. They took care of all necessary permits and requirements (city permits, HOA approval, APS required documentation, etc.) They contacted me ahead of time whenever someone would be at our house (panel upgrade, solar installation, APS inspections, etc.) Overall, Sunny Energy has been a great company to work with. From contract signing to APS approval/turn-on, the process took approx. 1 month, which was unusually quick. We have had solar running since May and have seen a significant decrease in our energy bill every month â more than offsetting the loan payment.
