Amazing. Lon is an expert. He made my island one level and converted us to farmhouse sink. Amazing attention to detail. Extremely responsive, and squeezed my small job into their busy scheduled.

My wife and met with Shower and Bath Connection after meeting with a few other remodeling contractors. We knew we wanted to remodel our bathrooms, but we're both very indecisive. We were immediately very comfortable with Lon. He was patient with us, and he helped guide us through the process of the decision-making. Lon was very involved in the construction process, and he kept us informed on the progress. He handled the details, and he reached out to us when he needed additional decisions. The master bathroom is now finished, and we're very happy with the results. We are looking forward to working with Lon on the 2nd bathroom. I have already recommended Shower and Bath Connection to my sister and her husband, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

We made an appointment with Lon to look over our project. He arrived on time and made a good first impression on my husband and me. He was neat, clean, well-spoken and friendly. We showed him the room we wanted redone and he asked pertinent questions and answered ours. He made suggestions that were helpful and gave us an off the cuff idea of what kind of dollar amount we were looking at. We talked about our budget and what changes we could make that would save us some money. We asked him for an estimate and he emailed that to us the following day. Lon was able to fit in our remodel between a couple of big jobs his crew was already working on. Our project was mainly cosmetic and took 7 work days to finish, except for the installation of the glass walls for the shower. The supplier didn't get the glass in when promised, so the bathroom was finished and usable except for the shower after 7 days. It was another week until the glass came in and was installed. The project included removing wallpaper from the bathroom, retexturing and priming and painting the walls, removing the bathtub and closing up the drain, replacing the cultured marble counter top and two shower walls and floor, installing tile floor and baseboards, installing a new toilet and quality sink and shower fixtures, exhaust fan and lighting. The glass contractor installed the glass walls of the shower. The crew that labored at our home were real troopers. They all had worked with Lon for years except for one new fellow. They were all friendly and polite and patiently answered all the questions we asked. By the end of the job they were practically family. They did their best to keep the dust and debris contained and always cleaned up every afternoon when they left. They were obviously very skilled and particular about their work. Lon checked in on the project several times during the remodel and kept us informed about the details of the schedule. After the shower was finished and we were using it, we had some water seeping out from under one corner of the glass wall. We reported this to him and he had the glass company out there the next day to reseal it. Problem solved. We are extremely pleased with the outcome of our remodel and have passed Lon's name onto friends who have seen pictures of the beautiful result. We plan to have him return and update our hall bath as well as our kitchen. My one complaint about the whole process was that we didn't get a paper or email copy of the invoice during the process when we made some changes mid construction.

The construction lasted 7 weeks. For a month I lived confined in my bedroom. I did get a temporary sink for some of that time which makes life a little more livable in a construction zone. You really find out how flexible you are when you live in a construction zone. The carpet that remained was pulled up and rolled to keep it clean. Lon Lisbach sealed the vents for me to minimize the dust but somehow it managed to find it's way into my bedroom closet! Lon works with a set group of contractors and they are artisans. In the attached photos, there are brand new cabinets and cabinets that are 20 years old. You can't tell one from the other. The cabinet contracting didn't refinish the existing, he just matched them perfectly. Perfectly. The flooring was laid out before a tile was placed. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding. It was helpful living there because in the beginning, we would meet at 6:30 or 7:00 every morning. Lon has a great design eye. Listen to his thoughts. I had at least a dozen paint samples on the wall and he came over one day with his paint wheel because he didn't like the one I selected or any of the others! He was spot on and the paint selected was gorgeous. I had one idea for the accent on the backsplash but Lon explained that it would involve cuts of the accent tile and I wouldn't like it because it would look unfinished. He then recommended and alternative which worked. You get to the point where if you have to pick one more material out you want to scream. Lon helped me through. When I realized I needed a different fireplace treatment in the living room, I selected the tile but then ran out of steam for the hearth covering. Lon picked a matching slate and was able to direct the amazing tile guy on the detailing for the finishing. This piece is critical. You can pick out great materials but if there isn't sufficient attention to the detail of the finishing, it just won't have the high end look you want. All in all, Lon and his subs, were terrific to work with. The work rarely stopped. Every day I came home to progress until we had a delivery issue with the back splash tile. Lon wants you to be thrilled and it shows. Soon, I will start on the remodel of the master bath..

There was a mysterious leak leading to water coming in from the ceiling in the laundry room downstairs. It turned out that it was the shower enclosure in the upstairs master. Shower and Bath Connection came out to assess the situation and found that the shower was in ok condition otherwise and it wouldn't need to be replaced if they were able to fix the leak, which they were. I was told that this isn't a permanent solution but should be good for a couple of years, and so far it has been! Thank you Shower and Bath Connection for helping me out of a tight spot!

I love the shower. he also put a seat in shower and a grab bar for my wife who can not walk with out a walker.

Lon remodelled our master bath about two years ago now. He was highly recommended to me by a colleague. In retrospect, I didn't appreciate Lon's high quality of work at the time. Now, after having other problems in our home with windows and door replacement and wood flooring installation, I have come to really respect that Lon and his crew did their work on time, within budget, and everything still looks great! We have had no problems with anything. Lon even did several "extras" for us, including painting the master closet, repairing a bar to hang clothing, and fixing a shelving unit, making it stable (it was wobbly). After some other experiences, I now greatly appreciate Lon's work and that of his crew, and would highly recommend him to anyone considering a bath remodel!!!

They did great and actually removed paint overspray from the careless painters I hired.

Several years ago Lon with Shower and bath LLC, rebuilt two bathrooms and the master bedroom at my home. At the time I was thrilled with his company, employees and the work done my home. Recently I was having problems with the shower doors and needed to have some minor repairs done. I called Lon to find out who he would recommend to fix these issues. To my surprise he informed me that he stood behind all his work and even know it had been years he would cover any needed repairs for free. He gave me the number of his shower glass vendor and told me he would have him call me to set up a time to have the doors fixed. I was called with in 5 minutes and an appointment was set up for the next morning. The next morning two people where at my door exactly on time to fix the issues that where caused by wear and use. The workers where professional, courteous and clean. They had both issues corrected quickly and there was no charge. It is wonderful to work with a company that has such high standards of customer service and takes care of there customers so well. I can not recommend this company highly enough. The original job was completed on time and under budget and this follow up shows that they mean it when they say they stand behind there work. I highly recommend this company to my family and friends. If I ever need a bathroom remodeled in the future I would used them again. If you are thinking of using them for your project, I would recommend them. They are an honest, friendly and safe company that really stand behind there work. Lon and his staff were a pleasure to work with- very professional and responsive to all our "by the way" requests and suggestions. Lon had several helpful suggestions for modifications along the way. The whole job turned out spectacularly and we are thrilled!

Lon came and looked at the damage in the shower. His concern was that the shower floor may also be leaking. He wanted me to plug the drain and see if water leaked out thru the floor. I got sick, lost my voice and couldn't get to the store to get the stopper. He called to check on how I made out and after a week he came over with the plug that was needed. He explained he has been extremely busy and had overextended himself a bit. He made arrangements to order the parts I needed and made a plan for the repair. i will use his company to repair the shower.

Shower and Bath Connection did an excellent job remodeling our bathroom. This was the second job that we had hired them to do. Previously, they had remodeled 2/3 of our home. I can't say enough good things about Shower and Bath, Lon, Bryan, and Garrett. They were very professional and courteous. Their work is exemplary. Lon was able to help us with creative ideas and the cost factor. He is very much a detail person and always made sure that their work was top of the line. I have referred this company to friends and would continue to do so.

Lon was initially recommended to me by friends who had worked with him on two previous projects in their home. After researching Shower and Bath on Angie's List, and also getting rave reviews from a neighbor who had employed Lon for a remodel several years prior, I felt very comfortable placing the initial call. Lon responded promptly, and even at the first visit I was impressed with his enthusiasm and design ideas. It did take a little while to get the bid in writing, as I understand he was quite busy at the time, but once we settled on the details I felt very much at ease with my decision. (I had obtained two other bids, one lower and once much higher, but did not have quite the same comfort level in either contractor that I found after speaking with Lon.) Once things got started, they moved along well. I truly appreciated Lon's ability to organize the phases of the project in a really clever and thoughtful manner, enabling me to live in the house for the duration without being terribly inconvenienced. Because the majority of the work was done while I myself was away at work, finding a contractor I could trust was a huge priority for me. When we did overlap, the Shower and Bath team was very punctual, polite, and friendly (especially Bryan, the kind and ever-so-patient crew chief), and always cleaned up nicely at the end of every day, such that I never came home to any mess or security concerns. What started as a medium-sized project grew into a big and fairly extensive remodel, during which time I made a number of changes and additions to the original plan--Lon was always understanding and gracious in his willingness to accommodate me, and gently steered me away from what would have been some poor decisions on my part. (In hindsight there are still a few more things where I now realize I should have listened to his advice a little more carefully, but he was never negative or overbearing, which I respect.) Additionally, the level of attention he paid to the seemingly smallest of details never ceased to amaze me. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of the workmanship in all aspects of the project. We had one issue with some of the work done by the custom cabinet subcontractor, but Lon committed to getting everything rectified to my satisfaction, and in the end all worked out well. Best of all, throughout the process I found Lon to be incredibly responsive--any time I had a question or a concern he was always available to discuss and address any issues as quickly as possible. The project is formally completed and signed-off on, and I am enjoying my beloved and beautifully updated home. I still have full confidence that should I have any follow-up questions down the road, Lon will be there for me. I was fortunate to be able to get my home-improvement "wish list" done in one big effort, but when I dream up some new challenges down the road, my first call will be to Shower and Bath.

Shower and Bath Connection did an amazing job! They removed my old shower and bath tub and installed a spectacular walk in shower. The craftsmanship was/is exceptional! Additionally, they replaced my 90's vanity with a beautiful cabinet and matching granite countertop. I would highly recommend Shower and Bath Connection to anyone that is looking for quality work at a reasonable price.

Lon came over on December 18th. We discussed the work we wanted done in our bathroom, he measured and asked for my e-mail address and said he'd send me an estimate. I should've asked how long that would take, but I didn't. Because this was just before the holidays and I had little experience with this process, I gave him 3 or 4 weeks of no estimate before I called. When I did, he said he didn't remember the job and that I should've called him long before now. He also told me he must've been waiting for us to select materials and that he couldn't do an estimate unless we did. I told him he never said anything about selecting anything when he left my house, just that he'd e-mail me an estimate. He never apologized, instead he basically told me it was all my fault in a very condescending manner. He did offer to come over right then and look at everything again. I was at work, but wouldn't have had him come back over so he could waste more of my time even if I'd been home. His entire attitude was really unprofessional and rude.

It has now been over eight weeks since the appointment and I have not received any follow up what so ever. I don't understand why a business would be so unresponsive. A simple no bid would have been acceptable. This resulted in my taking some time off work to be available for the appointment for which I get absolutely zero response from the owner. It makes me question all of the other high reviews this business received if they can't even conform with business etiquette 101.

We had a sunken tub/shower for many years, and we liked it until my husband's physical limitations made it difficult for him to get in and out of the shower. We now have a wonderful walk-in shower with grab bars, overhead spray, hand-held spray, and body spray. I wasn't sure we needed the body spray, but I'm so glad Lon encouraged us to get it. It is my favorite of the sprays, and my husband likes it, too--we use it every day. We couldn't be happier with our new shower, and we highly recommend Shower and Bath Connection.

The employees were all very nice, clean and efficient. Lon was very patient with all my questions and requests. Everything about the shower I love! It was everything I wanted. I would definitely use this company again!

Initially we had 3 companies bid on our project, of the 3 Lon Lisbeck gave me the most confidence out of the 3 bidders. Although his estimate came in slightly more than the others, we decide to go with him because he also had the most experience and was very organized. We liked having to only deal with Lon, instead of multiple contractors. His team was very courteous, knowledgeable and hard workers. They answered our questions and addressed our concerns throughout the process, which gave us great piece of mind. The project took about 4 - 5 weeks start to finish. They took out the existing shower and bathtub, installed new fixtures, plumbing and tile on our new walk in shower and bathroom floor. We can say with confidence that his team are master craftsman, and Martin is a genius with tile work. The owner of the company (Lon) was very easy to work with, helped me to choose the style and colors I wanted, and designed a beautiful shower seat/bench that curves into my jacuzzi tub granite deck. I mean it is completely GORGEOUS!! I'm so happy I found Shower and Bath because Lon had the ideas and knowledge needed to create my dream bathroom. It's like having my own personal spa to retreat to everyday! From the tile shape and color to the new AC vent to keep the bathroom cooler (and everything in between), I could not be happier. All of the workers who were coming in and out were professional, trustworthy, and friendly. Care was even taken to put up a makeshift fence to keep my dogs in a different area of the yard so they would be out of the workers' way. I've been impressed, too, that Lon has been quick to get back to me and work with me if I have any questions, all in the most courteous way. I recommend Shower and Bath for any bath or kitchen remodel. I plan to have them remodel my guest bath next!

Due to water damage, the water restoration company gutted two restrooms in my mother’s home. My mother had open heart surgery a few months ago, and we wanted to remodel her bathrooms to make them more accessible for her. He came out and gave me a verbal estimate, and said that he would contact me with the actual estimate. He did not do that, and I had to contact him about a few weeks later. In actuality, he prejudged my family, and thought that we couldn’t afford the work. He questioned me about our insurance and implied that we were trying to scam the insurance company. I’ve had poor experiences with contractors before and I informed him that I only wanted to compare estimates from several contractors. He said he needed to have the correct name of the homeowner, who is my mother. He also asked for specific information on the deed. I discovered that he was actually using this information to do a background check by going to the county assessors/records office to see if there were any liens/judgments on my mother’s home. After I found out what he did, I confronted him about it, and told him I was going to write a review on Angie's List about my experience. He told me that he would use the information he found out from checking my mother’s records at the county assessors/records office to counteract my review. I’ve had other estimates from other companies since them, and I have never experienced this again.

Lon Libsack, the owner, took an unusual and refreshing interest in the design of our project. At our first meeting, he asked us to choose a piece of art from our home from which we could all draw inspiration. He is very aware of trends in bathroom and kitchen design and, in fact, steered us away from the style we originally had in mind, telling us that it represented a look that is near the end of its "run." So we chose a much more classic/cotemporary design that is more timeless and appropriate to the formal style of our home decorating. The job took nearly a month, which was longer than anyone anticipated. But the level of workmanship was simply over the top; for example the finish tile took about two full weeks. The tile contractor, Martin, was meticulous to a fault. He is a true craftsman and artisan. Lon was very responsive to our input and requests throughout the project. We are more than thrilled with the result.

Lon and his crew were professional! they cleaned up after each days work, Hard working and detailed oriented, they made the experience painless! Lon gave us good suggestions and was with us in the process of choosing cabinets, tile, floor etc. No surprises, no add ons, the budget came in exactly as estimated.

Below is a photo of our new master bath. We love it! Lon had excellent suggestions in the design phase, met me at the granite and tile shop to provide input, and supplied many links to view options and prices. There are so many decisions to make! The job was scheduled in good time, and Lon and his crew did a wonderful job in a timely manner. I felt very comfortable with them around, and trusted everyone in our house. We have high standards and Lon noticed problems and fixed them before we had time to point most of them out! Lon does not nickel and dime you to death, and uses his judgement to upgrade where he can given the budget. However, as in any contract, it's important to read the contract carefully to know what is and is not included. Overall, we are extremely happy with the job done and would strongly recommend his work.
