Company workers showed up on time. When I signed the contract I had asked for individual adjustments on all outlets to be able to balance the system precisely but they did not do so. When I complained they said it was impossible to do so but they promptly worked out a compromise allowing me to balance the system satisfactorily, why I give this a B. For price I gave them an A+ because by working out my exact needs, they saved me a lot of money compared to other bids where they proposed more powerful equipment which was not needed. The system they installed is top notch and makes me save about 30 percent of electricity during the hot summer months and works evenly rather than on and off

It went well. Installation went smoothly. One side of the was always too hot or too cold. They installed baffles to push the heat/AC to the other side of the house. Not a perfect solution but an improvement.

Response time was same day and repair was completed in the same day at less than a higher quote we received from another air conditioning company (also on Angie's list)

They come out twice a year for general ac inspections, and they also installed my current ac unit, about three years ago. They have always been extremely help. I guess since I am an regular, they provide me additional discounts. I do have annual re occurring contract for this ac service.

The were outstanding! The service and follow-up after the sale and installation was tremendous. Oh, yeah, and their price beat all of the other big companies in the valley! Highly recommend Scottsdale Air!

Scottsdale Heating and air sent out a repair tech,Hector, to look tat my unit. He examined it and stated it need a new fan motor and possible other parts. He quoted me a cost of almost $1,000 for the repairs. He recommended I replace the unit do to age and potential additional repairs. The cost of the visit was $95.00 The next day I examined the unit and discovered the problem was a short where the fan wires were shorting out on the frame. I taped the wires and the unit has been working fine since.

My wife and myself have lived in Phoenix for six years. We have had to use Angies list for all of the work in and around our house. So far she has not let us down! Scottsdale air and heating came out and gave us an estimate for a new air conditioner. I must confess that I had another company, one that I won't name, give us an estimate also. When Steve V. from Scottsdale Air. came out to our house I was immediately impressed by his punctuality and knowledge of the work that I needed. I shared my concern that my 87 year old mother that lives with us was not going to go a day without air conditioning. He put my mind at ease right away reassuring me that if we chose them to do the work that it will be done quickly and professionally. He wrote out the proposal for us. It was concise and easy to understand. He explained in detail the different air conditioners that we had to choose from. We chose a Trane multi speed air conditioner. The price was fair and he left us feeling comfortable about the way the work was to be done. We decided what day and time they would come to install the air conditioner. Once again I was impressed by the punctuality and professionalism of the techs that performed the work. They communicated with us explaining in detail what they were going to do. After they finished installing it, they made sure that all the trash was picked up and taken away. It was like it never happened it was so clean! They powered it up and went through their operation checklist to make sure that it was performing properly. They walked us through the operation of the new thermostat and didn't leave until we were satisfied knowing how to use it. One thing that I forgot was that Steve V. did all the paperwork for the APS and the federal rebates. How easy was that! After all was done my wife and I will use Scottsdale air and heating for all the maintenance on our new air conditioner. I have already referred them to my next door neighbor who also used them and was pleased with their work. We highly recommend Scottsdale air and heating without reservation. Air conditioning is a must here in Arizona and you don't want a company that won't do what they say. Honesty and trust go a long with us. That is why we recommend them.

They were very professional from start to finish. Our salesperson, Steve, explained what would be done and worked with us on changes we wanted. Our installers (Eulogio and Jamie) were terrific. They were very neat with their work and the clean-up. Before adding the new returns in the bedrooms, they got our approval on placement. They took the time to show us the finished product in the attic and explained the new thermostat. After they left, everything had been cleaned up and the old system removed. It was a very good experience.

I was shocked at the price they charged for Freon of $75.41 per pound. For that reason I will never use them again.

It Went very well. They follow up. We noticed a water trickle this year. They came right out within the same day fixed it. They were willing to negotiate on the price.

It turned out in a word, fantastic. I did a lot of research beforehand with HVAC installers. Our house in Scottsdale was about 14 years old and it was time to replace. I could not been happier with the job they did. They absolutely have a very professional crew. Our house has a goofy access to the attic through the closet. They were very careful going in, removing the old units and installing the new units. They did an equally fantastic job on the outside. I would recommend them hands down. It was not inexpensive. They could not have been better. They're extremely professional. The whole crew could not have been nicer. We're signed up without hesitation. They were really good.

They did a very good job on the installation and they also did a good job on the service programs that we got involved in with them. They did a good job on one of my old air conditioners. We have like a hyper filter system too and they are very clean guys that come in, they put those little blue socks over their shoes. They are very personable like young men who seem to have good skills. They are competitive.

“Professional, but was more of a sales call”

We contacted Scottsdale Air to get quotations for the replacement of our aging compressor unit. Russ came out, listened carefully to our concerns (especially about balancing the air flow to cool off the master bedroom) and our budget. He developed several alternates, explained the technical differences between the units (like single vs 2 speed vs variable speed blowers) and described how the air flow to the mast bedroom would be resolved. After discovering that the unit we selected was no longer available, he moved us up the the next better unit for the same price. He also made sure we qualified for all available discounts and rebates (from both Scottsdale Air, AngiesList and the utility company). The original installation had to be rescheduled due to heavy rains, but another date was set only a week later. Angel and Jaime showed up on time and spent the day removing the old system and installing the new one. The work was done cleanly and all trash was removed. They spend some time explaining the functions of the fancy digital thermostat and made sure that we started out with appropriate settings. Best of all, after re-arranging the ducting, the master bedroom is now cool and comfortable in the hot weather. We had been told by the people who *used* to service our equipment that there was nothing to be done. We're glad that Scottsdale Air knew better. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend to others.

Although we had a brand new Trane A/C installed in 2008 by another company, we did not have any major work done on the ductwork. We always seemed to have a problem with a hot spot in the master bedroom area, which faces southwest. The owner of this company came out and spent two hours at my house evaluating the duct work, getting up in the attic and explaining to me why we have these airflow problems. It turns out that my system just needed some minor fixes to redistribute the airflow properly, which included balancing the dampers. Thanks to his frankness and honesty, he made me realize we did not have to spend several thousand dollars to have a complete re-do of our duct work,

Everything checked out fine and he didn't recommend any additional services. At least I know he was honest about it!

Most of the $300.00 was for a filter. The service charge was around $80.00. Went very well.
