I called on Monday to schedule and appointment to have a sales person come and give us a quote on a new heat pump for the house. They were very polite and friendly on the phone and were able to schedule a sales appointment for me on Wed which was the quickest appointment I was able to get from any of the companies that I called considering all of the demand for HVAC given the recent hail damage and the expiring federal tax credits. The salesman (I forget his name) at exactly the scheduled time and was very polite and thorough. He explained the process, asked me a number of questions and then proceeded to do a load calculation for the house (which every buyer should require of any salesman who tries to sell them a new system). Then we sat down and he discussed the options and prices for several different systems. He answered all of my questions and then left me a print out of the four different options that we had narrowed it down to. While I didn't end up selecting Scottsdale Air (we went with Howard Air), I would highly recommend them. Their prices very extremely competitive and are very professional, punctual, helpful and polite.

The company is very professional. Mike, the owner, was here off and on during the installation making sure everything was OK. They had 4 men who really knew what they were doing installing. Everything was done in one day and they went completely over the new units with me. When they left everything was cleaned up and you would not have known they were here replacing these units. I highly recommend them for any heating or air conditioning jobs. We love the new heat pumps.

The experience was great. The technician was working for over five hours so the price was very good for the time and materials (about half the costs were materials) This is the second time I have used this contractor and I will continue to do so.

Our heat pump (AC) was not working so I called Scottsdale Air after being dissatisfied with the service and sales pitch by Goettl Air ($13K estimate for new unit). Steve, from Scottsdale Air came out the next day and showed me the problems with our current unit and discussed the options for fixing it versus replacing it. Due to the age, low SEER and problems with the unit we decided to replace it. I told Steve I wanted just the facts and cost of a new unit and I would be doing my own research and getting other bids. Steve briefly discussed our needs then went to his truck to prepare the estimates. He returned in about 10 minutes with a very comprehensive but easy to understand estimate for 3 different options. We discussed each option and I told him I would call him the next day. After doing research on the different options I called Steve back and was amazed at his patience in answering my questions and trying to get me the best price and rebates. After going through all of the heat pump/air handler options (Trane, Lennox, Bryant, etc.) I ended up with a high end Lennox unit (XP19/CBX40) with $1200 rebate from Lennox, $400 SRP rebate, $250 Angie's list rebate, and the $1500 tax credit. We had to wait 3 days for installation but it was well worth it. The installers were professional, polite and timely. They even helped my wife carry in the grocery's . We love the new unit. It is super quiet, has a very nice thermostat and cools the house quickly. Will now use Scottsdale Air to service our units.

I paid over $400 on that work. My experience with them was pretty good and the A/C still works. I was happy with their service. They came on time, did the work and were courteous. I think all and all it was good. The price was a little higher than I thought it would be.

I like this company. I appreciate the routine maintenance checks.

I've been very pleased and satisfied with all of their work. It was covered under warranty. They were highly professional, they were punctual, clean and neat. They got it done and everything is fixed.

The repairman was on time (both times) and explained in detail what needed to be done. Since summer temperatures were on the way, he made sure that my unit was up and running in 48 hours. Even though this company is a bit more, the are really professional and I would highly recommend them.

In my experience, many Heating and A/C companies in the Valley are thieves. How can you tell? If they try and sell you an acid washing. After 5 years of this nonsense and 3 different companies, I called both Carrier and Trane, and they both told me that acid washings are NEVER NEEDED. How else can you tell? Ask them if their techs are on commission. Most are, and so they are highly motivated to sell you service you do not need, like acid washings. So three years ago I asked Carrier to recommend an honest company, and they recommended Scottsdale Air Heating and Cooling. They were just here today, third straight year, and as usual they were outstanding. The tech, Robert, was here for two hours servicing my two units and there were no extra charges whatsoever. Total charge for two units was $175. I would not use anyone else.

Rodney arrived on time and was ready to work. He gave a thorough inspection of the unit and provided me with the suggestion of replacing the capacitor, he provided cost and pros/cons of replacing. I decided to go ahead and have him replace it and it was done 10 min later. Great service, would use again

I have purchased two units from Scottsdale Air in the 17 years I have lived at my present address. Each time I have received estimates from at least two other companies, but Scottsdale is by far the most professional in presenting my options and discussing what I need and why - no one else has come close. I have used them because I have confidence that they will install the system correctly and stand by it once it goes in.

They were very thorough in their quote, the systems they recommended and the paperwork they gave me to support what they told me. The quote they gave me was very detailed and efficiently laid out. The guy who came out to do the proposal was very knowledgeable, professional and thorough. The technicians who came for the install were also very knowledgeable and very professional about how they handled working in my home. They were very good about putting anything back that they had to move. They were careful to take care of my wood floors. They made sure I knew how everything worked and did a really good job.

I was on a critical time schedule, and Scottsdale Air worked with me to keep other appointments. I was also impressed by the data gathering, as small leaks are very difficult to find on a single visit.

Went very well overall they were on time polite and knowledgeable. I was having roof work done at the same time and they worked well with the roofers.

Super quick response to visit to make the estimate and also quick to email written quote. Representative was courteous and very knowledgeable. Competitive pricing. This company was my second choice (due to price) if my first choice did not work out.

I was very satisfied with the entire range of service from diagnosis to sales and installation. The salesman was very knowledgeable about his product and answered all of my detailed questions thoroughly. He also worked with me to optimize the system for my house and budget. Best of all, the salesman waived the Sunday service call.

Brad Rogers was very helpful in explaining the process and in drawing up estimates for several possible options. He was informative and friendly, but not pushy. When the crew came to do the work, they were courteous, efficient, and helpful even though my house was in moving-in disarray! Each step of the work, which lasted most of the day, seemed choreographed for timing, even down to the brief appearance of a crane to remove old equipment from the backyard and install the new. No plants or property were damaged, even though swinging large machinery in the air. They showed me how to operate and program the new thermostat and cleaned up the dirt that blew out of the old ductwork before leaving. They re-did the ducts so that all rooms have good air flow now, and I am very happy with the way my home feels! It is a pleasure to be here. They also prepared forms for me to send in for my $1000 rebate from Trane!

EXCELLENT SERVICE! IT WAS A VERY COMPLICATED JOB, WITH TWO STORIES. WE HAD A LOT OF SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS THAT THEY ACCOMMODATED COMPLETELY. THEY CAME BACK WHENEVER AN ADJUSTMENT NEEDED TO BE MADE, VERY PROMPTLY. HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY. CONSIDERED OUR BUDGET WITH OUR NEEDS. LEFT THE WORK AREAS IN GREAT SHAPE. GREAT COMMUNICATION AND RESPONSIVENESS. VERY PROFESSIONAL. WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

THE INSTALLATION WAS GREAT, WELL DONE. THE THERMOSTAT THEY OFFERED FOR THE PRICE OF THE AC UNITS WAS LESS THAN WHAT WE EXPECTED. THE FOLLOW UP ON HOW WE WERE DOING AND HOW DID WE LIKE OUR SERVICE WAS NOT EXISTANT. I WAS REALLY SURPRISED THAT FOR SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY AND CHOOSING THIS PARTICULAR COMPANY TO DO THE WORK ON MY ENTIRE AC SYSTEM FOR MY HOUSE (A HUGE EXPENSE FOR ME), I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED BETTER FOLLOW UP SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY. I'M NOT SURE IT I WOULD QUICKLY RECCOMEND THEM TO MY FRIENDS BECASUE THEY REALLY DID NOT GIVE ME GREAT FOLLOW UP SERVICE. MAYBE I WAS ASKING FOR TOO MUCH?

THEY WERE ABLE TO CHECK OUR OLD AIR CONDITIONING AND REPLACE IT WITH A MORE EFFICIENT SYSTEM. THE WORK WAS DONE ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, AND THE PRICES WERE VERY SIMILAR OR LOWER THAN OTHER ESTIMATES. I RECENTLY NEEDED EMERGENCY SERVICE AND CALLED AT 8:00 PM. IT WAS REPAIRED BY 9:00 PM.
