 + -1 moreI used them because of Yelp reviews. I've had a terrible experience. The movers were good the prices were good. The pod that I had wasn't big enough, so they told me to call and they will deliver me another one. I called and they said they couldn't deliver it for a week. I cried begged and screamed and told them I didn't own the house anymore and it was nothing they could do. So, I had to hire another semi company. The concept is good, but it wasn't a good experience. The price was fair. The quality of it was very good.

Description of Work: They were on time, responsive to any questions I had either on the phone or when the drivers arrived. They were able to divert the destination address after the POD was in transit which was wonderful. Drivers were skilled and easy to work with. I moved from the Midwest to the Southwest and this was one of the most reasonable places to use, so that coupled with the people at PODS made this a good experience.

Description of Work: They dropped off a POD at the scheduled time. They let me fill the POD and then picked it up from my house. They will be delivering the Pod to Hawaii in November.

Description of Work: Had empty Pod delivered at my original location and packed it on my own schedule. Very sturdy and had plenty of tie downs to prevent shifting of contents. Roof was translucent so as long as there was daylight, there was plenty of light in the Pod. Garage type door was study and very secure. Used my own lock so I knew contents were secure. Had Pod picked and moved to PHX and held at their facility until I was ready. Had Pod delivered to my new home and I was able to unload at my leisure. Called for empty Pod to be picked up. Done! Easy, Easy!

 + -1 morePrior to having the POD delivered to my apartment I spoke to people in customer service regarding placement of the unit. They instructed me there procedure (how many spaces they needed, etc.) I mentioned to them that I'm the only disabled tenant in that part of the complex and that I would park my car in the slot next to the disabled spot to allow enough space for others to park along side. When driver arrived, I made note of the discussion that I had with customer service, and asked if it would possible to make sure that my concerns were met. He said that there would not be a problem. There was ample space to the right of the disabled space, along with me freeing up the space to the left. I double checked with the driver before I left the complex if there was going to be a problem, or could he place the POD on the handicapped spot. He said no. When I returned he in-fact placed the container to the left of the handicapped parking space, and partially in the parking spot to the left. I called POD's and they indicated that I would have to pay to have them come out and reposition the unit. I'll never deal with them again.
