The communications, planning and job from start to finish was exceptional. I had gotten 2 other bids from reputable Angie's list contractors who couldn't match this bid. Beverlee was on top of every detail and responsive to every change. Our project started at about $15,000 and included paved courtyard, walkways, travertine accents, new LED lighting and transformer, new drip lines. We increased our travertine, lights, a separate rain bird controller and 3 zone drip which raised our final cost. In the end the extra money was well spent. Our front yard was 17 years old, tired and needed a redo. I was impressed from start to finish with exotic scapes and they truly exceeded our expectations.

The initial meeting went well. The individual called and scheduled a time to meet with us. We went over some options and discussed what we would like to see in a design. After the initial meeting, we had an additional discussion around what the potential cost might be for the items in the design. We expected a contact back on the numbers and design of the backyard, but did not hear from them. We saw them at a home show about three months later and followed up again and saw initial design pricing. From that, we requested modifications on the design of the layout and provided ideas. The last time we met with them, the design layout had not changed despite the requests we made on the initial designs. We did tell them that we were not in a big hurry from the start, but the delays and follow up from Exotic Scapes discouraged us in their ability to actually execute on the project if we decided to move forward.

It went very well. He provided me quotes so that I can compare his services. I did like that he had a vision and could see what I was asking for.

The appointment was good. We are now in the process of creating a landscaping plan that will be implemented in a phased approach.

We were somewhat disappointed with the outcome. I emailed a scaled sketch of our backyard to prepare her for the meeting that we scheduled. She came with Very rough hand sketches and nothing else. We were disappointed and did not follow through with any further contact.

We had the work started in July of 2013 and it took about 2 months total. As the work was progressing, the designer Jason suggested that we would like to add a few areas of turf. That was one of the best ideas! And their selection and placement of boulders was perfect...even creating a beautiful rock and plant wall to hide our hot tub that they installed.

They had some good ideas--but we have yet to begin the process. We will use some of the ideas they gave us, but we will probably do it in small pieces over a long period of time. Their full plan was more money than we want to spend at this time. But the visit accomplished what we wanted--some good ideas with which to start the journey.

It was fine. He was on time, friendly and gave me good bits and advice.

Although the guy was very thorough, I decided to pass on their service. I can’t say anything bad about them but then again, I didn’t really follow through on the purchase. They had some good ideas but I decided to do something else. They did a good job; I just didn't use them for the final job. The price for the evaluation was fair. It was good.They were quite professional. I would not hesitate to call them back if I had a different project but this one, it just didn't work out that way.

When the contractor arrived he was not familiar with the deal on Angie's list. He asked me what I wanted and came only to give a written estimate. He pressured me for my budget number which I would not provide. It is now January 8th and I have not recieved anything from this vendor. He did not provide any consultation service and just wanted to be told exactly what I wanted without providing any ideas or guidance. The worst part is that this vendor did not even provide what was advertised in the deal.

The gentleman that came to the house did a good job, was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

Nice people who clearly knew their trade, and did not gouge when considering the job scope. In the end we did not use them because another qualified bidder's price came in lower by enough to put these folks into second place out of four who bid. I would consider them for other work in the future, however.

Found them at the Phoenix Fairgrounds show, and one of 6 contractors who made a proposal. ?Proposal was head and shoulders including artists's rendition of proposal, itemized list of prices, including several options. ?Each visit was absolutely on time, regardless of who came. ?Raw material delivery was as advertised, and job entailed removing 4-5 inches of poured concrete slab and removal of materials. ?Substrata was then completely leveled and prepared for paving block. Two watering systems, for plants and potted plants was installed with appropriate timers and valves. ?Each days' work was capped off by a thorough cleaning to leave any evidence of any contractor work being done. ?Final choice was made, some options deleted but once choices made, work proceeded smoothly and on time. ? Results were above expectations, exact in every matter and very pleasing to the eye, both paving block area, planting beds and all the greenery that was chosen and installed, even to the extent that some plants were trained to a screen that was installed for their vertical growth. ?All in all, couldn't be happier, and we commend Jason, Michael and Bobbi for their exacting and professional work. ?Well done! ?I would unhesitatingly recommend this team for any yard projects.
