Wonderful service! Took a week to get the parts in but great service and didn't feel like we were overcharged for something we didn't need

Brad, a professional and a gentleman, came on time, and fixed my washer. Very friendly and warm personality. A+ service.

It was around $300. They do that kind of job which is not something you can find easily.

I have waited several months to write my review because I am reluctant to suggest anything negative about a company. I picked this company due to all the good reviews at the time. There were several reviews citing the company's honesty because they would often explain that it wasn't worth paying them to fix the appliance due to the expense and advise to just purchase a new appliance. The repairman that came out was very professional. He came out the same day that I called. Earlier in the day, I found my freezer warm and that was the reason for my call. By the time, the repairman came, the freezer was running and seemed to be getting cold again. The repairman performed a test on the compressor and told me that it was bad and needed replacement but a new compressor would be in the $800 range. He suggested that I just buy a new freezer. My first impression was that this was a very honest person. Before I could purchase a new freezer, I noticed that my freezer was colder than zero. I watched it for weeks and it held the temperature. Finally, I filled it with meat again and it has been working perfectly ever since. With no repairs and no replacement. The repairman was only at my house for a few minutes and I began to be suspicious as to why he would tell me the compressor was bad when it has worked perfect ever since for 10 months. I don't know what to think; is this someone who just makes lots of repair calls in a day and doesn't repair anything but just suggests you buy a new appliance or was my experience just some anomaly. Why would the compressor test out that it was bad but then work for 10 month holding the temperature under zero?

Got here, asked me questions, checked it out, diagnosed, gave estimate and he repaired it.

Estimate was too expensive, parts were also expensive. And I had to pay a service fee just for the visit.

The transaction was smooth from start to finish. They evaluated the issue, let me know that it could be the oven sensor, control board, or both. Provided estimates for parts and labor prior to providing service. Oven returned to working condition within 3 days of first contact with E&J staff. Tenet reported that staff were timely and professional. All communication and invoicing done by email, which I found helpful. Estimated costs and explanation provided by phone and summarized in email, also very helpful.

My refrigerator would not cool down to the proper temperature. Johnny the technician was excellent. He tried a new sensor first but that didn't fix the problem so they refunded our money and re-installed the old sensor then he thought it was the board and replaced that but again the temperature didn't cool change. They said the only thing left would be the compressor and it wouldn't be worth replacing and suggested we buy a new refrigerator. In the end, because it didn't fix my problem, E & J didn't make much money off of us but I highly recommend them to others and we will use them again in the future. We have rental properties and are always looking for good service providers. Great customer service will pay off in the long run. The owner was fair and ethical. Honest business owner!

The service went very well. We could not have been more pleased. The service people were polite and on time. A part had to be ordered and a second repair day had to be set and they were very flexible. Do not hesitate to use their services. You will not be disappointed.

E and J arrived on time, they were miracle workers. They hooked up my vent in my dryer and placed it in the very small space I had to work with. Grateful, that I found them.

They were straight out with prices, on time, and even called on his way over. He told me what the price of the new pair was & also adjusted the washer to be level. He was a very nice guy! I felt comfortable dealing with them.

Great service! E&J showed up on time and completed the work. When there was a small additional part needed, they were very concerned that the dryer would not be functional over the weekend and followed up by phone on Sunday and rearranged their schedule to come back first thing on Monday at no additional charge. I have used this company several times over the years and they have always been scrupulous in their attention to detail and communication. They are unfailingly honest and genuinely concerned about the meeting the needs of their customers.

I was very happy with the service provided by E&J. When I first contacted them for an appointment they responded with some very good questions to make sure they were prepared for the job when they got here. They were polite, on time and completed the job as scheduled.

Eric was the tech and was great. Very knowledgeable and courtious. Said it was a common problem and fixed in 20 minutes.

It went okay. The fan was replaced. The reassembly of the refrigerator was poor with the cover jammed back on without a number of the holding screws put back. Additionally there was no effort to make sure the wires and hoses were placed inside the housing. I had to do that myself. Additionally, the labor charge was exorbitant. All told the repairman was here for 45 minutes with a labor charge of $209.95. That comes out to around 300 an hour for labor. I would certainly check others for their labor charges before going with this vendor.

Brad was a great honest guy. He knew what the problem was right away. He only charged us for the call. We know of other companies we take every thing apart charge a huge labor fee then tell you they cant fix it. We really appreciate him being honest.

I called E&J to schedule and the service call process was explained. I was able to schedule service within 2 business days of my call. The technician called to tell me that he was on the way, and he arrived at the start of the two hour service window. The technician was professional, friendly, and prompt. He quickly ensured that he had a good space to work, and then adequately draped the glass top stove and counter tops to ensure the area would remain clean and undamaged while he worked. He removed the microwave and diagnosed the issue, and was able to repair the squeaky exhaust fan. Along the way he provided a few helpful tips for the future. The work was done promptly and efficiently, and was very reasonably priced for one hour of labor. All in all a very professional experience. I would highly recommend this company for small appliance repair.

Have used E&J twice for repairs at my rental property and will continue to do so. They are professional, prompt and kept me informed every step of the way, ensuring they had my approval to complete repairs. Would recommend them to anyone looking for help with small appliance repair!

Though I knew they charged a service fee for just showing up, in the event that they don't do any work, and the diagnosis takes less than 5 minutes, they should waive the fee or charge a reduced rate. $80 for 5 minutes work is pretty outrageous. I would not use their services again.

Scheduling was easy, first visit was to evaluate problem; ordered parts and scheduled another day for repair. Everything went as expected, Ernie was always on time and very professional. Could not ask for better service.

I would definitely recommend this company. Prompt contact after my initial inquiry and they were able to come out quickly. I was told what to expect at each stage and who was coming. The serviceman, Johnnie was courteous, professional and had my problem fixed quickly. He also likes animals :).
