Fantastic. Within minutes, E & J guy Brad had my dishwasher torn apart and singing Dixie. The problem turned out to be really obscure, but Brad had attended some KitchenAid workshops and knew how to figure it out. He had to order a part that took a couple of days to come in. But it worked like a charm. Throw in the fact that Brad was just a great guy the whole way around and had lots of positive stuff to say about his bosses, and I'm a happy customer.

This is one of the best companies I ever used. They were friendly on the phone, were on time, and did the warranty work required with no hassles. The service technician, Brad, was punctual and professional. He explained what he was doing and what the problem was. He ordered a new part for my dryer which he installed a few days after the initial service call. This was warranty work paid for by Whirlpool. Sometimes with warranty work, you're told whatever it is will not be covered. Not the case here. The work was performed to my satisfaction and it didn't cost me a thing. I would gladly use this company again even if I were paying for it myself.

Technician Johnny was courteous, on time, and provided a detailed description, including a diagram of the parts causing the problem our washer has. We determined it would cost too much to repair and will choose to replace the washer.

Johhny arrived as planned and went right to work. It turns out that my oven was fine. The problem was a power wire leading to the oven had burned up. Johnny quickly identified the problem and got the repair done. I am very impressed with E&J Appliance, and I will definately use them again!

The entire process was fantastic. I did a lot of corresponding with Alan via email and he was responsive and informative. He provided an estimate cost based on everything we talk about for my budgeting purposes. We schedule the appointment via Angie List Email. The tech Mike called when he was on his way and within the time frame promised. When he got here he determined the dishwasher pump needed to be cleaned out which he did. He also gave me some recommendations on how to keep it clean and what to do to keep it in tip top shape! The total charge was less than the estimate which was fantastic plus there was an Angie List coupon which made it even cheaper. I was very impressed with Mike as he was extremely professional and informative.

I called to schedule a repair for my front-loading washer and after describing my problem I got some very useful information at no cost. Instead of making me wait to have someone come out just to charge me a fee for the visit, I was able to make a decision based on their information. Will definitely call again next time we have any repairs to do.

I was able to schedule an appointment within one working day. Johnny arrived early and completed the job within 30 minutes - knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it! He explained everything to me, showed me the pricing and made the process easy. Would definitely use this company again.

It took 15 minutes at the most. Part cost 41.70, labor 138.90 which I was told included the 79.00 diagnostic fee( he came part in hand after I told Alan on the phone what the problem was). I also was told this fee would be waived if I had the work done. they charge a flat fee for the job. Rick did give me the estimate I could have said no but at this point with 79.00 invested I felt I'd risk the cost of a service call, part plus labor from another company. I was wrong!!!

Our microwave was fixed quickly and professionally. Johnny diagnosed and fixed it in 30-40 minutes. He was prompt to arrive. I will use them again.

Identified problem, and that replacement part was no longer avialable. Pointed out potentially serious electrical problem. Provided references to other companies for 1) new oven and 2) electrical repair. Rick Smith, the technician, was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and competent. I would highly recommend thecompany and Rick in particular. And will use E & J again should the need arise.

The appointment was between 11 and 1. The Tech called to say they were available a bit earlier, and could they come early. I agreed. Tech performed diagnostics on the dryer and then blew out the lint line. After the Tech was done, I tested the dryer and the heat was working again. Great experience. I will use them again for other appliance issues.

My Kitchen Aid refrigerator has been a lemon since the day we purchased it so all work done by E & J has been under warranty. They have been to our house 5 times in the last 2 years and each time JOHNNY came and fixed the problems. Unfortunately, this model refrigerator apparently has fatal flaws from the start so he has ended up replacing multiple parts at different times. Johnny is great! I hate seeing him walking into our house because that means a problem, but he is highly professional, very good at what he does and personable. He explains everything well, does the job efficiently and is gone! He always has a smile. Unless they give me a new refrigerator, I'm sure he will be part of our family soon.

So for the past year my 9 year old Maytag front loader washing machine, which i love, started to leave my just cleaned clothes and towels with a mold/mildew odor. Some days were worse than others. It was to the point that when I would take a blouse out of my closet it would smell stale and mildewy. I used the over the counter Afresh cleaner for washing machines, I did the vinegar and the powders....to no avail. I called Allen at E&J appliance. Very friendly guy. I explained my problem and all the remedies I had already tried.... He informed me that Afresh had a cleaner that was professional grade called Afresh 3X and told me to come by and pick up a sample for FREE to see if that would help. He didn't try and sell me something, he didn't try and schedule a useless appointment with a house call fee..... He just explained if this new product did not work, he did not want to come out and take my money because he's not that time of business man... I went to his office and after talking with him I decided to buy the product in a bulk form 25 pack pail and did not want to take his free sample because if it did not work on my old washer because it was too far gone, then I could use the product on my next new washer to alleviate this problem right off the bat, if i had to purchase another washer because I cannot deal with the odor of mildew/mold on my clothes any longer from the old washer. Then he actually called two retailers while I was there to see if they had it in stock and even asked them to sell me the product as his BUSINESS PRICE!!!! WHO does that.. E&J Appliance does. I was stunned at the effort he went through to help me. Well I have gone through two Afresh Pods and I am letting my washer air out overnight and I will try another rinse cycle in the morning and then do a load of towels to see if the odor is gone. Even if the odor is still there, and even if I have to buy another machine, I still feel this business went out of their way to provide help to me and I am very grateful for the help. He could of just said sorry your problem and left it at that. But they did not. Way to go E&J Appliance!!!!

I got the provider reference from Angie's list, the appointment set up went fine and the technician did arrive on time. But the technician diagnosed the problem wrong and suggested that the 'ice maker fan' located inside the freezer compartment is bad and needs a replacement. But it was in fact the 'refrigerator evaporator fan' that needed the replacement. I paid the technical for the diagnosis charges and replaced the 'ice maker fan' myself as per his suggestion but even after replacement it didn't work - I then did some research online and realized that it was the 'refrigerator evaporator fan' that was the cause - I went to Appliance Parts Depot again and got the right fan replacement, installed it myself and it is now working fine. Disappointed with the incorrect diagnosis.

Great. The tech was very knowledgeable and helpful. Felt he was giving me the straight scoop and ulimately went with his recommendation to replace the washer. Would use this company again!

The repairman , I think his name was Jimmy, called ahead, arrived on time, and was clean, courteous and professional. The dishwasher drainline was clogged. This is a 60 year old house and the drain line was a collection of various size copper tubing and fittings, a very small piece of glass had gotten jammed in one of the smaller pipes. The entire drain system was replaced with one size tubing and is now working fine. Overall a very good experience at a reasonable price. Prices were stated before any work was done.

He determined that I should get a new wine refrigerator rather than fix the broken one.

She explained how the process worked, asked for the details of the problem and the machine and advised that it would be better to buy a new machine saving me on the service call. Excellent customer service!

It's been a while so I don't remember much detail, but I recall that we were very satisfied.
