E&J is a family-owned and operated business that was started by Ernest “Ernie” Johnson, and has been serving the East Valley since 1982. 6 employees. No subs contractors. Cost is determined by the job. May contact through email. Calls are scheduled in 2 hour intervals 8-10, 9-11, 10-12 etc. Most credit cards accepted. Service in home or carry-in. Service all brands of appliances and water heaters. Description of Work: They came out promptly as scheduled and checked out my washing machine. He told me it needed a new timer, but could still run on some of the cycles, just not on the delicate cycle. The new part would have been close to $300 so I decided not to repair it. There was a coupon on Angie's List for a percentage off, which I thought I would get on the service call, which was one of the reasons I chose them, but it turned out to only be good if you had the repair done. That was a little disappointing, but I will find out ahead of time next time a coupon is offered.

Description of Work: My 4 year old refrigerator was doing a great impression of a freezer. E & J came out immediately and determined that my computer chip was malfunctioning. They quickly & efficiently took care of the problem and cleaned up the area spotlessly. Thank you for not the quick and reasonable repair. The Fridge is working like a champ again!

Description of Work: Technician found the issue very quickly with our Dishwasher and gave us a repair quote. Description of Work: Technician came to my home because my refrigerator was making a noise. It was determined that the fan motor was N.G. Did not have the part. Came back to install the motor and determined that the evaporator was N.G. Quoted us $650. We decided to cancel and buy a new refrig.
