Brad the service technician arrived at scheduled time. He checked out the electronic connections and said that the issue was in a electronic contact board. He said to replace the board would be excessive for the age of the dryer and a replacement dryer would be the way to go. He noted that we had a old electric system called a controller which could be the problem with causing the electronic system to cause a power reduction and shut the dryer off. He suggested we shut the controller system off and see if that would help. Surprise!! Electric dryer has operated fine after we disconnected the controller system. His suggestion saved us from having to buy a new dryer. Great job by E & J appliance service.

Oren was on early, worked fast, was polite. Turns out it was an electrical problem & not the dryer itself. I would use them again.

Excellent experience, start to finish. The person who took my call (Sarah) was very helpful and knowledgeable. The washing machine is 17 years old. I knew what part was broken after extensive research on the Internet. She looked it up, cross referenced it and indicated the part would be on their service truck. She helped with an estimated cost of part/labor -- just a great help. The service person (Johnny) arrived exactly when indicated. He confirmed the issue with the part, but indicated the problem could be fixed without replacing the part. Now THAT piece of know-how was nowhere on the Internet. He acknowledged the fix won't last forever...but for a 17-year-old washing machine...it doesn't have to. He did the fix. And the machine works! He could have easily just put in a new part and charged more than 2x the service call. Moreover, this was at my mom's house, and I wasn't there. She wouldn't have known. I wouldn't have known. Johnny did the right thing by everyone. That just doesn't happen anymore. E&J is now our entire family's go-to appliance repair. My mom has their number. I have their number. Our daughter has their number. The only question now...do you guys fix cars?

E&J were responsive but they had to schedule a few days out (granted it was over the holidays.) When they arrived, they fixed both items quickly. They had to replace the ice cube maker in the fridge, and the oven's heat element. They asked for the model on the phone so that they were prepared and had all of the right parts. We would definitely hire them again.

The technician was knowledgeable and efficient. He had to wait for the part to arrive. Thus it took two visits to complete the work. For a $70 part replacement, the labor was more than double the cost.

Great ! Because of his years of on hands experience Michael was bale to diagnose and repair the washing machine quickly. I had brought a spare part with him but didn't need it. If he had he still could have fixed the issue on the spot. I definitely recommend Michael and I'll be using him again.

It took two service calls. The second time, the technician pulled out the dishwasher to fix the problem. He had to take the brackets out to pull out the machine. After he fixed it, he put it back flush with the cabinet. I asked if it was secured and he said yes and showed me by opening the dishwasher door. Instead of opening the door as he showed me, I pushed on it and it moved three inches closer to the back wall. It was not secured as before and the fact that I pushed on it must have surprised him because he made an excuse about it. So, he was either incompetent or was not truthful. Either way, I would not hire again.

Serviceman showed up on time. Quickly diagnosed the problem and made repairs all within about 30 minutes. One note on E&J, they are so competent and well thought of that it can be difficult to get an immediate repair appointment. I had to wait 5 days. For me it wasn't a problem because I don't use the oven very much. Nonetheless, I'm still quite satisfied and would not hesitate to use them again.

When I called, they got me a same day appointment which was a 2 hour window starting 2 hours after I made my phone call, so very prompt. They called with a more exact arrival time before they arrived. As soon as I described the problem, the technician said what it normally was that would make that washer sound like an airplane taking off, and that it would be cheaper to buy a new washer rather than repair this one if that was the case. He looked at it and verified the problem, and told me the price to fix it ($1100) which was indeed more than a new washer would be. Wasn't too surprised it was replacement time, as I have gotten around 16 years out of my Neptune. The technician gave me tips on buying a new washer (brands to avoid, how to get the best longevity, etc.) and asked if there was anything else he could take a look at while he was there. I asked a question on a stove burner and he said to replace the coil rather than attempt to deal with the *ahem* plastic that I accidently melted onto the hot burner when I sat something down without thinking about it the other night... He let me know where to get the replacement part. (He could have replaced if I wanted but it would have been more expensive).

Repair person indicated that they did not have the replacement part to fix the oven. No attempt to check the internet/supplier as to the availability of the item.

They were fine. I don't remember the specifics, but I'd give them a good rating. I'd give them an A. They were pretty responsive. I don't really know about their price because I didn't do any shopping around. They came when they said they would.

Excellent service! E& J were able to come out and quickly diagnose the problem. Even though it was an old unit, they were able to order me a part, and had it within 24 hours. The technician then came back and installed the new defrost timer and all was well!
