E & J gave a two hour time frame for when their workmen would arrive instead of the four hour time frame most other repair companies like. This made it much easier for me since I did not have to take off a whole afternoon of work. They called before they arrived, arrived within the time frame, and gave prompt and courteous service. They charge a $50 for the service call, plus labor time. He did not charge additional for the insulation.

I believe it was Alan that came out, more promptly that I could ever have imagined! He had the problem (sprayer blocked, plus some other problem) diagnosed, and the parts ordered in less that 10 minutes. Made a second visit to install parts and gave me great instructions to prevent mineral deposits in sprayer and how much soap to use as well as tips on heating the water before starting a load. Dishwasher works wonderfully now, except the door started leaking again. I won't hesitate to call them again (plus our washer is also broken; sigh)!

Repairman always calls before he arrives-on time. Works quickly to diagnose problem. Is neat, removes all cartons and broken parts. On one occasion, part had to be ordered. Estimated time for part to come in was right on the mark. Company called, as soon as part was in and set up return date. Travel time was not charged on return trip, neither was an additional labor charge.

Ernie (the owner) had to make 3 trips because he had the parts for the dishwasher on the first trip, ordered just the gasket for the icemaker and discovered on the second trip he needed the entire assembly, and the third trip was to install that part. The ''trip charge'' was only for the first visit, the second two trips I was just charged for the actual time here. He was friendly, punctual, efficient and helpful. I felt charging for labor in 15 minute increments was fair. My only regret was not printing the discount coupon on the website that the company offered on parts. When I'd originally set up the appointment the scheduler thought the latch for the dishwasher was also covered under warranty. And I figured the gasket for the icemaker wouldn't be very expensive. (I learned ALL these parts are expensive because they are all proprietary.) Using the coupon would have saved me over $20. I will definitely use this service again and recommend them to other potential customers.

E&J is prompt in getting a worker to the home, and they do good quality repair work. I would hire them again. The only problem I had is it has taken them (despite repeated phone calls on my part) more than 2 weeks to get me a receipt for the work performed. Doesn't seem that hard - just put a receipt in the mail is all I have been asking them to do, and I still don't have it yet.

Ernie was friendly, polite, and professional. I did have to clean some dirt and water puddles off the laundry room floor after he left, but consider that a small price to pay for the serious safety problems he spotted and corrected during his visit.

Technician was on schedule and gave a 15 minute advanced call ahead. He was very professional and explained everything in detail about what he was doing and the repair.

When I first called, they told me up front what the service call costs would be. I felt they are reasonably priced & made the appointment. Mr Johnson was on time & diagnosed the problem immediately. He asked if I had anything else to look at since it only took about 2 minutes to find the problem. I was very pleased with this service call & will definitely use them in the future & recommend them to others.

Ernie was very nice and on time. We had actually had him at a previous home (pre-Angie's list) several years ago, and he remembered. I appreciated his honesty and willingness to work on the old icemaker. I don't know what the average price of service calls is, but I thought it was a bit steep; $49.95 to show up and $40.00 for the first half hour; i.e. $90. He was there about 20 minutes. Plus the icemaker would have been $134.95, less the 10% Angie's List discount. That seems expensive. But the prompt service and pleasant serviceman who obviously knew what he was doing were worth it.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS ON TIME, AND SEEMED TO KNOW HIS STUFF. HE SPENT ABOUT AND HOUR AND REPLACED A CIRCUIT BOARD AND MADE SOME OTHER MINOR TWEAKS. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THE FRIDGE WASN'T WORKING WHEN HE SHOWED UP AND WAS WORKING WHEN HE LEFT. THE CHARGE OF $200+ SEEMS STEEP, THOUGH THAT DID INCLUDE THE PRICE OF THE REPLACEMENT BOARD. OVERALL A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS ON TIME. HE EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM & PROVIDED THE AMOUNT REQUIRED TO FIX THE UNIT. HE WORKED QUICKLY & CLEANED UP THE AREA WHEN FINISHED. VERY PROFESSIONAL.

WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE. THEY WERE PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL AND SEVICED OUR CALL ON THE SAME DAY. THE MICROWAVE WAS LESS THAN TWO YEARS OLD. THEY CHECKED ON THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY AND INFORMED US THAT THE MICROWAVE IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY FOR PARTS AND LABOR. THEY ORDERED THE PART AND CAME BACK TO FIX IT AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS.

I CALLED THE COMPANY EARLY IN THE MORNING AS ALL MY FOOD WAS DEFROSTING. THE OWNER CHANGED THEIR SCHEDULE TO SEND SOMEONE OUT AROUND NOON. HE SAID THEY WOULD CALL FIRST. THE TECHNICIAN DID CALL WHEN HE WAS ON HIS WAY. THE TECHNICIAN WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY PLEASANT. HE FIXED THE REFRIGERATOR IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES. THE FEE WAS VERY REASONABLE.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB BOTH TIMES IN A TIMELY MANNER. WE THINK WE GOT A GOOD PRICE EACH TIME.

THE TECH WAS VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. HE CAME ACROSS AS KNOWING WHAT HIS JOB WAS AND WENT ABOUT HIS WORK IMMEDIATELY. THE TECH DID HIS JOB AND LEFT.

THEY WERE RESPONSIVE, ON-TIME AND PERFORMED QUALITY WORK.

E&J IS A BIT PRICEY, BUT THEY DO GOOD WORK AND GAVE ME POINTERS TO TROUBLE SHOOT PROBLEMS ON MY OWN. UNFORTUNATELY E&J DOES NOT USUALLY STOCK THE PARTS FOR MY REFRIGERATOR SO THEY HAVE TO ORDER THE PART THEN COME BACK ABOUT A WEEK LATER TO INSTALL IT. WHILE THE REPAIRMAN WAS HERE, HE SHOWED ME HOW TO REMOVE AND INSTALL THE ICEMAKER (REALLY EASY TO DO AND COULD HAVE BEEN EASY MONEY FOR E&J)AND GAVE ME THE PART NUMBER FOR IT SO THAT I COULD ORDER IT AND REPLACE IT MYSELF (IT WAS A WHOLE LOT LESS EXPENSIVE THAN HAVING THE REPAIRMAN DO IT). I CHANGED THE ICEMAKER MYSELF WHILE THE NEW VALVE WAS ON ORDER SO THAT HE COULD FIX ANYTHING I GOOFED UP WITH THE ICEMAKER WHEN HE RETURNED TO REPLACE THE VALVE.
