The part was expensive, but the labor was reasonable. I plan to call them again if I have additional appliance problems. They were excellent!

They are very professional. Always on time,courteous. I would recommend them to any one needing appliance repair work. As too the (C) rating on price,I felt that it was a bit high for two small metal hinges/service call. We needed to have the work done. Too much heat escaping from the oven.

Johnny, one very pleasant and knowledgeable man arrived at 1:05 for a 1-3 PM appointment. He called 10 before arrival to verify I was home. He can in with booties on his shoes, a pad for kneeling on the tile floor. Very professionally dressed and groomed. I reviewed the recent (6 day) history with the failure and he indicated he would perform a motor pump time test and a motor power test. After about 15 minutes, it was verified that the Dishwasher pump motor was receiving 1/3 the current and not pumping enough. He quoted cost to repair with labor of $300 and the racks needed to be replaced. Since the unit was 10 years old, I decided to do a new replacement and not do the repair. Johnny honored the $10 Angies list discount of $10 against the quoted $79 for a total of $69. He cleaned up the floor and reassembled the dishwasher.

IJohnny from E & J Appliance Service came to check my very old wall oven. By checking appliance records on his laptop, he confirmed my suspicion that it was so old that repair parts were no longer available. He verified the exact size of replacement that I would need. He called ahead to confirm his arrival time. He was prompt, courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend this company

E&J sent a technician named Johnny to perform the service. He was upbeat, happy, and very knowledgeable. He not only made the repair, but taught me how to take better care of the washing machine so that it would last longer. I also was really happy with his work. I was also able to get an appointment for the same day that I called. I put a N/A for the price only because I did not do comparison shopping. I looked for a highly rated company and relied on them. The price seems fairly reasonable for the service provided.

E & J Technician promptly ordered a new part and fixed the problem! Very pleased.

The service tech, Jonny, came out and did a great job! We called at 8am and they were out at the house at 11am! We were very impressed with their promptness and the knowledge of Jonny. He quickly replaced the pump on the washing machine and it is back to working great! I would highly recommend their services.

He was very helpful. I gave them a B only because they did not have to do any repair work on the appliance.

I awoke one morning to find a puddle of water flowing from under my freezer. I found E&J on Angie's List and called for an appointment. The customer service person was courteous and helpful and scheduled an appointment for 2

They were very nice on the phone when I made the appointment. Ernie called about 15min before arriving at my house and arrived on time. Very pleasant. Diagnosed the problem and even though I elected not to have the washing machine fixed due to the cost he suggested brands that he preferred and where to purchase and who to talk to there for a good deal. Would definitely call this company again when a large appliance needs fixing.

My first contact by telephone was handled courteously and efficiently including convenient scheduling for the service call. This morning, the repair man (Johnny) was punctual, very professional while being friendly and easily communicative. He had the necessary parts his van and quickly provided installation of necessary replacement parts. I would have no hesitation recommending this company.

This was an exceptional experience.. Our clothes dryer stopped working about 10AM and was fixed by 4P. Wonderful lady took my call when I phoned. She was able to get a repairman here that afternoon. Repair took 18 minutes. The replacement part was on the truck. Very professional and friendly tech. Just exceptional.

I was not in a hurry for the appointment yet was scheduled for the next day. In the end, I appreciated that. Johnny M was the service person. He called first, arrived well within the 2-hour window, and was very efficient. The ice maker was not working & could not be repaired. He replaced it. That's been 3 weeks ago and it's working well. I was able to use the Angie's List 15% off coupon. I've recommended them to my daughters and I will use them again when a major appliance needs repair.

Everything went well. My washing machine died over the weekend. I called and left a message for E & J Appliance Service. They called back on Monday and were able to schedule an appointment in a timely manner. The repairman/owner was professional, very knowledgeable and friendly. He completed the repair in about 1-hour and tested to make sure everything was working properly. My only issue, and it may be a non-issue, was "I" felt it was expensive. The part cost $160 and the labor was $168. I thought that was expensive as it wasn't a difficult part to replace, but I have no frame of reference as to what other companies might charge for the same repair. They did give a $10 discount for AngiesList customers, which helped. Overall I was very happy with the experience and have clean clothes to boot.

I had a leak from the water heater as I was preparing to go out of town. Since all the technicians were completely scheduled, I had another service company come out to look at it and was told that the tank needed replacement. I called E & J again and they managed to squeeze in some time for Ernie to take a look. He did and it turned out to be a tiny hole in a flex pipe that he fixed on the spot. He is very thorough and knows how to fix just about anything, plus they are very nice people. I highly recommend E & J Appliance for any appliance repair work.

After a 2nd failure, I searched Angie's List for a appliance repair company. When I called E & J, Alan picked up. After listening to my situation, he suggested that the installer may not have punched out a drain plug that is part of the disposal. He spent a good 10 minutes walking me through the process, described the tools I would need, and took the time to make sure I understood his instructions. He said they would be happy to come out and charge me $80 for a service call, but that he was highly confident that this was the problem and that could fix it. He was right :) I highly recommend this company.

Recommended not to fix it because it would cost about the same as a new dryer. .

The best appliance service I have used in the metro area. I can add them to my list of service providers.

They were quick in determining the issue, and I had to buy a new fridge because it couldn’t be fixed. I thought the $80 charge was too high just to come over.

I explained to the tech that water started flowing out at the door when the machine started filling up with water. So I noticed that the plastic part just snaps back into place so I snaped it back on and then water started flowing out through the soap dispenser so I stopped the machine and drained the cycle. And called for service. Johnny said that I did put the plastic part on correctly and then examined the soap dispenser and took the whole thing out and reached in and and took out a big glump of soap that blocked the water from flowing into the machine. He solved the problem and went through the checking of the machine and made sure everything worked. The only thing I paid for was for the trip charge and they even had a coupon on angies' list that I was able to use. The were on time and got the problem solved. ne
