I am completely satisfied and appreciative! We had that broken elliptical upstairs for over a year because I couldn't find anyone to take it and it was too heavy/bulky for my husband to get downstairs on his own. I was finally driving behind one of College Hunks trucks and gave them a call and the elliptical was gone within 48 hrs! A huge *weight* off my mind! The team was pleasant, professional, and quick. They did arrive a little after the agreed upon window, but I did receive a call to make sure the later time was still okay. I am very pleased with the service, would definitely recommend and use again :-)

My wife was extremely excited that she found Mike and his crew on Angie's List! I was traveling, on the East Coast, while my family was packing and getting ready for a move. She found Mike and College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving through Angie's List. From the onset Mike was extremely cordial and professional. Mike came to our home and went through everything that my wife wanted to have done and Mike gave her an estimate on what the charges would be. Mike sent over a 3 man crew and they began to work immediately, at least 2 of the 3 did. The move did take longer than what had been scheduled, partly because my wife decided to add some extra items onto the moving list and partly because Mike had a non-worker on his crew. In as much I spoke to Mike, on the phone, and voiced my concerns. Mike explained that this was not normal for his crews, yet he would investigate and get back to me with an amicable solution. In as much the move was completed, Mike called me, the next morning, with what he considered a fair and equitable solution and I became a sold consumer! Mike was not only professional in the way he handled our move he was also fair and equitable with what he came back to me with. So much so that I then asked to have some and quot;junkand quot; items removed and hauled away. I had gotten a price, for this work, from the Got Junk company, yet Mike's bid was right in line and I already had a great feeling about he and his company! I have moved across country on numerous occasions and even across the valley two years ago. I have heard Horror Stories from others, yet I have to say we have been lucky in our moves until the local move two years ago. When we moved across the valley two years ago, I didn't have or use Angie's list, and I tried to tie the company down with an estimate, as I didn't want any surprises in pricing, yet when they came, on the day of the move, the and quot;Add-Onsand quot; were so extravagant that the price presented to me was 6 Times the original quote and we ended up settling on a price 3 Times as much as the Original Quote. I was Not pleased to say the least! Mike's quote was Spot On and there were NO and quot;Add-Ons,and quot; no Surprises in the middle of the move, no Tricks or Gimmicks to inflate the price, just a straight up honest and hard working crew and company trying to make sure they did the best job they could! Thanks Mike and all of the guys that helped my Wife and Boys move while I was out of town! You're the Best!!

I received an estimate for 10 hours, 4 guys and 2 trucks to move my household goods to my new home. Told the estimator I needed to be out by noon (approx close of escrow). I was told no problem. I was told all of our guys are trained (not so sure) we cover everything up to protect walls and doors (that part was true). Changed the order to 5 guys so the time was changed to 8 hours. They showed up within the time window and started working with one truck and a van. I would say 3 of the 5 guys were working constantly. The other 2 worked off and on, I would actually say more off than on. At about 11:30 I reminded them I needed to be out of the house by 1pm. They told me they needed 2 trips. I told them unacceptable, I need to be out and was told it would not be a problem. They called for a second truck. The truck arrived and they loaded it up but not as tightly as the 1st truck and they ended up not getting everything on and had to come back anyway. The first truck and 3 guys sat for 30-45 min waiting while 2 guys finished loading the washer and refrigerator. It seemed like the crew was constantly waiting for direction from one of the guys, who was the supervisor, who was on the phone a lot. Too much wasted time, too much standing around. One of the guys seemed to be a trainee and took forever to do anything and stood around a lot. I don't feel I got my 5 man crew that I paid for. I was charged for 10 hours and then credited 1 hour, by the estimator after a phone call. I still feel I overpaid. The original estimate was for 10 hours and a 4 man crew which should have been easily done. With the 5 man crew IF all worked and IF they had 2 trucks like I ordered it wouldn't have been a problem. I had less furniture than when the estimate was given. We moved some of the stuff in our cars and truck since they were taking so long. Very disappointed in the move. A leg was broken off a couch and they didn't say anything, I happened to see the leg and asked where it belonged and on of the guys said the couch. Also found out that some wheels were broken on an entertainment unit when I tried to move it later. They asked how it went, I responded and I have not gotten a response yet. I have been waiting to write the review to see if they got back in touch with me, they haven't. It is now May and I have not heard back from them. Now Oct I'm sure I will never hear back

Very, very well. These guys work hard until the job is done.

Overall, I was very pleased with them. They were very professional and had good attitude. I really liked their uniform and was impressed with that. I would definitely use them again. In fact, I would probably call them first.

Good except for the price. They just looked at each other and set a price. There was no particular criteria for the work done.

Top to Bottom was GREAT!!! Andrew and Xavier showed up within the window, and got going right away. The job was a little big for the tools they brought, so they got a and quot;bigger hammerand quot; (literally). I'm betting the work took a little longer than they thought, but they were extremely courteous and professional, and they did a great job cleaning up. I will DEFINITELY use College Hunks again when it comes to Moving or Hauling.

They were great to work with! The cost was reasonable. The workers were careful and moved everything just fine. They arrived on time and kept in communication with me. The whole process was timely, their were no suprises in the service and charged what they had quoted.

How it all went: They were several hours late. They were supposed to arrive between 10 am and noon and arrived around 6 pm citing that the the previous job which was estimated to take 2 hours, took much longer. I was repeatedly asked if I would reschedule even though I had repeatedly told them I could not reschedule as I was fully packed and had to vacate the apartment that day and I had no where else to stay with my dogs. When they did finally arrive, they did an excellent job. The foreman brought extra people to expedite the loading and unloading and everything went well after that even though the late time of day inconvenienced my plans significantly as I had to go back to the apartment to move my dogs at a very late hour. I had also used the Phoenix College Hunks Moving outfit 2 days before the move from apartment to house, to unload the rest of my belongings from storage pods at the house and one of the men took a small chunk out of my front door while moving my couch and the foreman had promised to get it repaired at their expense but it has not been done to this date. I had used College Hunks in the past with good results twice, when I moved from Kansas, for loading pods and again for loading my moving truck. When I first arrived in Arizona earlier than anticipated, the Phoenix foreman had been able to send unloaders at short notice and those workmen did a good job. All of the workers were polite and pleasant and acknowledged the mistakes they made; but in the future I will not use the outfit in Phoenix as the majority of the Phoenix team was not very organized or very professional. The punctuality issue with my most recent move from the apartment in Scottsdale to my house in Glendale would have been non existent if the Phoenix foreman had done his scouting as he was supposed to do, that is, went in person to estimate the job and the time it would need. When I brought this up to the foreman, he agreed that he had not been to the job site for the job previous to mine and he also did not come and estimate the job at my apartment. In contrast, the co-owner of the College Hunks outfit in Kansas City, KS, Justin, came in person to estimate the manpower that would be needed for both loadings. The work by that crew went very smoothly time wise.

They did an excellent job. They were very quick and careful with the items. They were very polite and professional.
