I needed a contractor to fix a pressure release valve and get it up to code. The people from this company were nice and friendly, but the service was a bit pricey. I felt that the price was a little high for the work that was done, but I still may use them again in the future.

City-Wide Plumbing arrived promptly at the appointed time. I provided the replacement faucet. As happens many times with faucets, the retaining nut was frozen in place and would not budge, even with application of Liquid Wrench. Plumber had to cut the faucet off the sink in order to completely remove it. The replacement faucet was then quickly installed without any problem. The whole job was completed in less than an hour, and he accepted a coupon which I had printed off the City-Wide Plumbing website. This was a job I thought I could do myself, but I ran out of time and decided to call a professional. Lucky for me that I did, because I did not have the tools or the expertise to deal with the unexpected problem. I will definitely call City-Wide Plumbing again should I need plumbing services.

Was skeptical on them before we hired them but the contractor recommended them. Angie's list had them a B or lower and I agree they and not good. Not even B lets say d! First they were about 20% higher than everyone. Installed items and done poorly . gave excuses on when we pointed out this was not installed properly. they said that was how it is and left. Had to call manager to get senior person to come out and redo the job . Loose faucet , drain had missing parts not recoil and lines not done right. We could not even use the sink nor spray or faucet, I cant believe they even did not test their work on first install attempt? When I called the original install tech he just argued with me and told me he cant help fix all of the items and my fixtures must be defective and his work was fine. I called back and complained asked for supervisor who came out and fixed all issues , found missing part first guy left in the box and basically re did the work. Also 2nd installer admitted 3 separate basic plumbing things were missing or installed wrong. Loose faucet, missing gaskets, loose drain, recoil spray not installed right and base faucet loose in 2 sections. This vendor is not a fit for me even though it was redone and I had to waste time and have 2 appointment to get a basic job done . they would not even compensate me nor apologize! DO not use them!!! many other places with better service and professionalism.

Almost 6 years ago I had this company replace a water heater for me. They did a good job and one of the few companies that carried a Bradford White water heater which is US made and had a few features that I wanted. Fast-forward to now, with water streaming down my driveway. As it turns out, the water heater had a 6 year warranty and it was now 5 years and 11 months from when I had the original installed. Called City Wide Pumbing but it was Sunday, and they were closed. So called them Monday. I didn't have my invoice, but they had installed the water heater and they nicely wrote the install date on the water heater, so I knew it was under warranty. Gave my model and serial number to them and made an appointment for later in the day. About an hour later I get a call from this woman at the company telling me "The company is not going to pay for the replacement because they go by the manufacture date which was a few months before I had it installed." Then she said "without the invoice your out-of-luck." She seemed to relish in that, but I told her I would look for the invoice, and maybe she could do the same because I bought the water from them. She said she would look, but didn't sound optimistic. So I found the invoice and called them up with the info. About 15 minutes before the appointment time I get a call saying the service person is on his way. About 40 minutes later he arrives. The installer seems knowledgeable and tells me it will be $385 for labor plus "parts." I point out the warranty says 6-years on the tank and 6-years on "parts." He says that is for "water heater parts not other parts." Hmmm. In any case he installed the new water heater fine. Before he left i asked about an inspection? (This was a gas water heater and Scottsdale requires all water heaters be inspected.) He said, "no its just a replacement, not really required" which isn't true at all, and not smart for something like a gas water heater. Overall, I wouldn't use this company again, and even if all went great, but their conduct was very unprofessional, and I think $385 is a bit much just to install a water heater which took maybe 90 minutes tops. (That's no added parts and no water heater)

Just as our neighbors were leaving to catch a plane to take their daughter to college, they discovered a large flooded area in their back yard. They turned the water off to the house, and we volunteered to help them get it fixed while they were gone. They really could not wait until they returned to deal with the problem, as they were expecting 3 house guests when they returned. We called City-Wide, who were able to come out within 4 hours. City-Wide diagnosed the problem as a break in the water pipe feeding the swimming pool. Since the homeowner was out of town, they spoke to him over the phone and gave him his options: turn the water off to the pool (they found the shut-off valve for the pool, which neither the homeowner nor we could) and deal with the problem upon their return, or have it repaired immediately. After speaking with City-Wide, our neighbor decided to have the work done while he was away, with us supervising the work. City-Wide dug a big hole, repaired the break (which had been caused by tree roots), filled in the hole, cleaned up the area, and turned all of the water back on. They even left the broken section of pipe, with the roots intact, to show our neighbors.

I called for a free estimate and they were at my house within one hour. Lou was very clear on the prices and set my expectations correctly. He went to the wearhouse to get the parts and was back immediately. It is now fixed and my shower is actually dry now and we don't have to have a bucket under the leak. I should have done this a year ago! GREAT Service!

Making appointment and availability had been excellent. The customer service was excellent too. The plaque was adequate, but he had to come back out because there was leaking after he had done it; the irrigator on the faucet wasn't tight. It was what it turned out to be, but being a plumber that's installing a faucet, if he had checked his work, he would have felt that at leaving. That's what he told me. So, when he came back the second time, his response to me was "it was nothing to do with the installation, I did that correctly, it was the irrigator on your faucet." That was how he put it. I don't know if there was irrigator on the faucet because all I know is that was leaking from underneath. He also had a hard time getting off one of the handles; he actually had to use the hacksaw because of the calcium buildup. He did not clean up his mess; I stepped on a shard of metal and that cut the bottom of my foot.

Google and Angie's searches first thing in the morning. I've replaced water heaters in the past and had planned on doing the job myself, but found that the retail cost of the water heater itself was going to be $450 for a cheap unit, and over $600 for an energy star rated one; so it looked like it would cost me more to do the job myself. Called to confirm type and quality of unit that City Wide would install. Their ad gave the exact total price to be paid for the work. By 10 AM, I had scheduled a 1-2 PM arrival time for the installer. The installer called on time at 1 PM sharp at the community entry gate. The replacement went like clockwork and all work was completed in about 90 minutes.

They have always been punctual, and reasonably priced. Most importantly, they are good at what they do.

I thought that he was fine. He got here quickly and worked for a few hours and did tons of different things. He got here quickly and everything was good. He came and did a whole lot of work and it did not cost much. He was here almost as soon as we called. Everything that he worked on works fine.

Their price was good. They let me purchase the material and just did the labor work. That helped me cut down on price. They were prompt, quick, and did a good job. I would recommend them to others. I rate them high overall.

The leak was fixed but the cost was unreasonable.

The work done was OK, the problem was in the difference between the initial quote and the final charge. There were items in the final additional charge that should have been in the initial quote, and the other items were priced from 2 to 3 times the retail price.

The worker told us that these fittings are difficult to adjust properly and that if it was not acceptable to call back. After several weeks, I decided that it needed an adjustment because the comfortable temperature range was less than 1/4 of an inch of the rotation. At that time, they refused to honor the employee's word since it was more than 30 days (original service date 1/23, I first left them a message on 2/24 but it took over a week to get an answer). They were going to charge me another $95 to complete the job.

Bobbie came out promptly and provided an estimate to fix a leak coming from the rough-out shut-off valve after we replaced a garbage disposer in the kitchen sink. He showed me where both valves were leaking and needed to be replaced, I agreed to his price, which seemed high and he completed the job. To do so, he had to remove the RO unit and part of the garbage disposer to gain access. He was very neat and cleaned up as he went. After completing the job, he mentioned that the plumbing pipes should not be hard plumbed. Two weeks later, we had water leaking again. I called, and came Bobbie back. He agreed that there was a leak. In fixing it, he determined that the garbage disposer was not installed properly. To "fix" it, he would have to charge me. As he had it out, I let him do so and had him re-plumb the hard plumbed pea trap as well.

I CALLED EARLY IN THE MORNING AND THEY HAD SOMEONE OUT BEFORE NOON. HE HAD TO GO GET A NEW HEATER AND HAD IT INSTALLED BY 2PM. HE WAS NEAT, EFFICIENT AND FRIENDLY. I WAS PLEASED WITH SERVICE BUT THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS TOO HIGH.

THE FAUCET HAD TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE OF A BAD PART. THE COMPANY CHARGED FULL PRICE PUT IN THE NEW FAUCET. FAUCET HAD A LIFE TIME GUARANTEE AND THE NEW ONE SHOULD NOT HAVE COST ANYTHING.
