Description of Work: Have used Azul before a couple of years back and was extremely satisfied with their service..Their technician, Jim, knows his business and performs in a concise and considerate manner..I had the pool acid washed and the calcium deposits around the water line "beaded".also had some loose tiles fixed in the spa..The pool looks like new.All the work was done as promised and in a timely manner..Couldn't be happier.

+ -1 moreWe wanted the pool plaster to be white plaster. After explaining the advantages of the pebble interiors, and the drawbacks of the new option for plaster (since asbestos could no longer be used as it was when we had the pool installed originally, the plaster would not last nearly as long), Azul did give us a quote for the plaster option. Curt listened carefully to what we wanted and discussed in detail our options for the pool interior, pool tile, and deck surface. We got estimates from four pool remodeling companies. The quoted price from Azul was competitive with the other quotes that we received. We decided to use a different pool company because they offered a longer warranty for the white plaster pool interior that we wanted. Azul was recommended by our neighbor, who had her pool redone by Azul with a pebble interior. They did an outstanding job for her and the pool still looks like new three years later.
Description of Work: Provided a quote for the replastering and retiling of our 20 year old pool, resurfacing of the existing kool deck, and installing a new water leveler.

I contacted Scott Thompson about the problem and he fixed the issues within a few days including cleaning up the work area. I've dealt with Scott on several occasions and he is awesome!

+ -1 moreTim was the person sent to work on the pool. He was extremely knowlegable and knew exactly what to do to do to get rid of the algae. Within two days the green was gone and within 5 days the chemicals were stabilized. He found a few problems with the pool equipment that the previous pool service neglected to recognize and fix. I was very, very impressed with the service I received. Since then, they have continued to stay in touch as we are working on a pool cleaner problem. They really have gone the extra mile to help me.
Description of Work: Restored a green pool to the proper being clear and usable by daily servicing the pool until the chemicals were balanced. Checked for leaks. Checked to make certain the equipment was working and fixed what was broken. I am continuing to use them for my weekly service.

Prices are all over the place for maintenance on pool; it depends on the skill of the individual. He does good work. We call him directly. His name is Tim.

+ -1 moreOnly complaint is installation quality. No breaker shut off at pump was installed and old timer box was used as junction box. The breaker shut off at pump location was a code violation pointed out to me later by another contractor.

+ -1 morethe technician was amazing he found and corrected all the problems my pool is now clean and bright the suction is awesome and best of all the pump is almost completely soundless no more racket when it turns on
Description of Work: i was having trouble with the suction of my pool filter.. there wasn't any.... the technician from azul came to check and found quite a few problems that my old pool company had completely ignored.. there was a filter basket that i did not know existd that was broken and needed to be cleaned out periodically,, o rings were worn out and pipes were worn and cracked small gravel was lodged in the pump causing the annoyingly loud noise that it made everytime it was turned on...

+ -1 moreAzul Pool & Spa Services is quite simply the best in the Valley for pool and spa service, maintenance and repairs. We have used their services twice in the last few years and both times they were top-notch in every way. When we called they listened carefully to the problems we described and then asked questions to further clarify the situation and suggest likely causes and options for dealing with the problem. Always very professional and courteous. The technicians who came to service the pool were also very courteous and professional. They call before coming, when they arrive they listen first, then ask questions, and then provide detailed explanations of what they think the problem is, what their proposed scope of work will be, what the costs will be, and if applicable, other options for dealing with the problem. Both times the service was exactly as they described, took the amount of time they stated, and there were no surprises when the final bill came. They are very sensitive to the needs of their customers, both in terms of the actual service and also the “little” things like calling before coming, arriving when they say they will, being attentive to pets in the house or the yard, and providing accurate estimates of time and costs. They know what they are doing and they do it very well.
Description of Work: We have needed Azul's “green-to-clean” service twice in the last few years. Our pool chemistry got out of control and no amount of shock or clarifier would save it. They have a cocktail of chemicals that will turn the ugliest, algae-filled water crystal clear within just a few days. They come every day to brush and/or vacuum the pool, check chemistry, and add whatever is needed as the chemicals do their thing. Last month we needed this service again, and remembering how great this service was the last time, we called Azul without even checking with anyone else. Our technician this time was Tim Peters, who is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of pools, pool equipment, water chemistry, and every other tip and trick of the trade that a professional pool service should know. Each day he came we talked and he shared some more of his experience and expertise with us. It felt like we had a personal mentor teaching us about not just pools in general, but our pool, our equipment, and our chemistry. He also replaced a valve on a very old filter system and in the process explained all about our equipment, what its strengths and weaknesses were, what we might expect as the equipment gets older and eventually fails, and the costs for doing various replacement work. We felt like we had close friend coming over to help us out and answer all our questions, not that we just hired someone to fix the pool. Everyone we have spoken with or dealt with at Azul has been very knowledgeable, very attentive to our needs, and very professional. We recommend Azul Pool & Spa Service to anyone, without hesitation.
