On 7/3/25 I contracted AVA Appliance Repair to fix the heavy frosting building up in the defrost free refrigerator freezer. The technician, who spoke very little English, attempted to repair the freezer, but to no avail. The technician (Andrii) visited my house two times to fix the freezer, but still no success. During the first visit, I mentioned to Andrii that it might be the seal, but I am no refrigerator expert. Andrii looked at the situation and said that replacing the seal around the freezer door should fix the problem. It was replaced, but three days later heavy frost started appearing again. When Andrii came out to repair the unit the second time, I became highly agitated because I expressed why I was upset and disgusted with the repairs that did not fix my freezer. Adrii told me several times he did not understand what I was trying to communicate due to his sever lack of understanding the English language. The management refused to reimburse the $85 I paid for the repair.

If you had a rating less than 1 star, that is what I'd give. THE WORST SERVICE! They are an American Home Shield "approved" contractor. I called for service on a range 1/6/23. They didn't arrive until 1/12/23. The range required a replacement electrical cord which they had to order. Now, they have given me a call date of 1/24/23- for a 5-minute assembly of an electrical cord! And they don't schedule morning calls- only afternoons noon-6PM.

***51 days without a refrigerator is ridiculous*** My experience with ARIZONA VALUE APPLIANCE REPAIR has been awful. We issued a claim via American Homeshield home warranty for our refrigerator on 8/16. It took a week to have somene dispatched. They took 2 weeks to get a replacement part and another week to make the repair. As of 9/9 the refrigerator was working properly. On 9/13 the refrigerator was no longer working. Another service request was issued, and ARIZONA VALUE APPLIANCE REPAIR did not show up until 9/22. On 9/22 ARIZONA VALUE APPLIANCE REPAIR claimed the installed part needed replacement, they had it in stock (6miles away), but it would be ANOTHER two weeks before the repair would be scheduled. ***51 days without a refrigerator is ridiculous***. ARIZONA VALUE APPLIANCE REPAIR botched the initial repair and refused to expedite corrective service . Stay away from this company!

While fixing my freezer, the techs broke my freezer door. They didn't have the part with them. I was told they needed to order it and would follow up to fix their mistake. They never did. When I finally called back, I was told it has been to long and there was nothing they could do about it. To blame the customer for their lack of responsibility, is very unprofessional. The customer service with AVA is horrible, and to leave a job unfinished is showing a lack of character. I would never recommend this company to anyone, and after reading the other reviews in multiple places, am not sure how this business is still around. Good luck to anyone who hasn't researched, or who's home warranty uses this company. I have made a note with mine never to send them to my house again.

How are these people still in business? I know, because the only business they get is from home warranty companies. Let's start with the lady who answers the phones. She has a serious attitude problem and her tone would be the last person I want answering my company's phone. The tech came out and said it needed Freon and a condenser piece. It wasn't their fault the warranty company had me waiting for 2 weeks already but I had to wait another week for them to get the part in. A part they should have already had. Fast forward to a week later I get a text letting me know they would be there between 12 and 5. At 10 to 5 I call and get the same bad attitude written woman who precedes to tell me it's 12 to 6 and there's no way I could have gotten a text that said 12 to 5. I open the text and let her know I was correct and she blamed it on a computer error. The tech came close to 7 p.m. for a job that I was told it would take three hours. He did his thing and told me it should be cold within a couple hours. The next morning Not only was the fridge completely not working but it was room temperature and about $300 in food was spoiled. It was at least working good enough to keep things in the fridge before he "fixed" it and now it was completely broken. It was then that I looked them up and noticed they had one star and looks like this issue happens to everyone with them. They just break completely what they're there to fix. When I called the company and told them that I lost $300 in food and a $186 ampule medication for my son that needed to be refrigerated all they could say was "that's too bad". You know, because when you wait that long for someone to fix your fridge and all they do is completely break it and you're out almost $500 because of their ineptness, it's just too bad I guess.

These people are terrible. They have been to our house 4 times over 2 months and still have not fixed our refrigerator. I have explained the problem over and over and I don't think they listen to me at all. They have replaced parts but they can't explain to me how the parts they are replacing will fix the problem I'm describing. And if that is not bad enough the people on the phone are rude. This company was sent to us by our home warranty company, we will insist on a different vendor in the future. Avoid this vendor.

COMPLETE SCAM, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SERVICE. AVA has come to my residence three times to fix an ice maker and the ice maker door. First time they tried to rig the door by drilling the hinge and "re-positioning" the door, this fail. Second time they came back and applied loctite to the same hinge, this later failed. Third visit on 09/22, they came back looked at the door, and the technician said the door was unrepairable and they would recommend to replace the entire refrigerator door and send this information to the warranty company. Today when I spoke to customer service, I was told only one visit was documented and no notes of replacement was ever documented by the Technician. All they did was stonewall and say we need a "Senior Technician" has to come look at the door issue, which they claimed the warranty company asked for. This is a complete lie after I contacted the home warranty company only to find out AVA NEVER sent any report to American Home Shield. Sarah with AVA even tried to tell me that on the last visit the issue was fixed.... How could that be if the technician told me it couldn't be fixed and I could put the tape back on the door that was holding it closed? The home warranty company is not to blame, they even told me that if AVA would just send the report stating the door can't be repaired they would take the next steps to replace the door or the entire unit. Asked for a supervisor or to speak to the Technician, guess what they are in a meeting and the Technician can't be reached since he is in the field. What a joke. Again DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
