Description of Work: New Patio Misting system. About 65' of tubing, misters every 24", a single zone using a 120volt pump, about 1gpm at 1000 psi. Had to install a new water spigot from a nearby bathroom and a new outdoor electrical outlet from an exterior bedroom wall. Estimator was on time and explained things very thoroughly... and the installer did the job in one day. Works great .. very satisfied!

Description of Work: I have used this company for many years in the past . What I have noticed past few years is that they seem to have lost the "hands on" responsiveness they once had - I think this is because they have grown to become such a large company now and as a result of this the management is nto as sharp as it used to be. They installed a dual tank water softener system many years ago along with two R/O Systems and they have been the service provider for those systems since then . No real complaints about the service up to now but my current rating is a reflection on my experience recently . My old softener system is leaking from one of the tanks so I put in a call to them . I had to speak with a couple different people before I could find anyone to listen to my propblem . After three or four phone calls I finally got hooked up with a guy in sales and that person was a bit difficult in terms of answering my "basic qyestions " regarding how much cost to fix existing unit and whether or not it would be more economical to just buy a whole new unit . Eventually I got the information but it took me a few days of "back and forth" amongst three people to get it . Meanwhile, because I was so frustrated with the process as well as the price they quoted me , I contacted "Clear Water Concepts " (rated "A" on Angies List ) . The owner answered the phone immediately - I sent him a photo of my unit (just like I had done with Aqua Science ) and this guy immediately knew what I had , discussed all my options on the phone and the end result is he sent me a written quote that evening . His quote was for the same basic unit , same manufacturer of the valve/controller unit , better warranty and the pricing was $ 1700 versus $ 2700 ! Needless to say , this is where I placed my business ! I also will say that I have been an Angie's List subscriber for awhile now and I am beginning to see the value of this register - very helpful !!

+ 1 moreI am a very picky consumer and they are one of the best companies I've ever worked with. They're inexpensive compared to national brands, at times less than half. They are extremely professional and courteous in person and over the phone. I've called them several times and they always take care of me. I asked them to call before they came and they always did. Their salesmen, Larry Shimmel was extremely professional and not in the least bit pushy. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: They installed a heavy-duty water heater, water softener, and RO system.

+ -1 moreThe Tech showed up on time and was very nice, however he said the water softener was not leaking, it was air conditioning condensation. We explained to him that the air conditioner drained in a totally different place and he still could not diagnose the problem. He charged us for the time he spent trying to figure it out. We called another plumber the next day and he was able to figure out that the seals were bad. We called Aqua Science to try to get a refund of the money that we paid, but they were totally uninterested.
Description of Work: My water softener was leaking. Aqua Science is the local dealer and service provider, so I called them to fix it.

misting systems
+ -1 moreThey damaged a water pipe and they came back to fix that, but they also left other stuff which needs to be redone. I have not heard from them since they were out here last time. I'm not too happy with their service.
Description of Work: I had them install a misting system. This was a high pressure system for the patio, it emits vapor, makes air moist, and cools the air down. This took about 6 hours.

+ -1 moreTECHNICIAN WAS ON TIME AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN HOW MY SYSTEM WORKED. SUGGESTED A FOLLOW-UP CALL IN SIX MONTHS TO ENSURE THE SYSTEM CONTINUES TO WORK PROPERLY.
Description of Work: CHANGED THE FILTERS AND CHECKED WATER QUALITY, HARDNESS, AND PRESSURE OF REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM. ALSO CHECKED THE TIMER AND PERFORMANCE OF THE WATER SOFTENER.

+ -1 moreCOMPETITIVELY PRICED, FAIR, BUT IT TOOK TOO MANY CALLS ON MY PART, NOT THEIRS, TO GET THIS SERVICE COMPLETED. ACCIDENTS, DAYS OFF, WE WERE GOING TO CALL YOU, ETC WERE ALL THE EXCUSES. GENERALLY, THIS COMPANY DOES GOOD WORK, SO I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
Description of Work: INSTALLED A PRESSURE REGULATOR ON THE MAIN WATER LINE, AND IN ADDITION, INSTALLED A NEW BALL VALVE, REPLACING THE GATE VALVE. ALSO DO OUR REVERSE OSMOSIS EVERY SIX MONTHS.
