Description of Work: We wanted to install a new front door that would be both beautiful and secure. We found Allied Gate at the home show and had them give us a quote. We quoted three companies and all three were almost the same price. The reason we picked Allied gate was because their doors are made right at their shop in Phoenix. The other companies were having the doors made in China and transporting across the ocean. This allowed us to do work with the designers up front and do anything we wanted to design our door. With Allied Gate we could go look at our exact door as it was being made and before it was powder coated. At that point we could still make changes before the coating was installed. We wanted this step because we knew for reliability we did not want to make any changes after coating. Our installation was completed and we absolutely love our Allied Steel Door. It is really beautiful!

Description of Work: Custom front door. The door is beautiful they did a great job. But it just took longer then expected to make the door. 2-3 weeks longer then what quoted. But the company was apologetic and installer was professional.

+ 1 moreAllied Gate installed an iron entry door to my home. The design was semi-customized and exactly what I wanted. They sent me the design via email and then I went to their shop and approved the door part way through, so there was no confusion in getting exactly what I wanted. Everyone I worked with was exceptionally professional. The sales representative and the installation manager listened carefully to what I wanted to do (unlike other door companies that I talked to) and I ended up with exactly what I wanted, improved with their knowledge and suggestions. The actual installation day went well, they arrived on time and finished on time. They cleaned up both inside and outside around the work. And were just generally pleasant. They even put up with me asking questions and taking pictures of the progress. I enjoyed working with Allied Gate so much that I had them come back in Mary 2011 to build a gate in my back yard and 2 trellises in my front yard near the iron door. I wanted the trellises to match the iron door and they did a great job. The price on the trellises was very reasonable and they look beautiful. The gate also required some special railing on each side of it, they handled the job professionally and the quality is excellent. The gate and the trellises were about $1500. I would definitely recommend this company for iron entry doors, gates and other iron work.

+ -1 moreWe ordered a gate 3 months ago and it took them time to custom make it. We spent $620 on the gate and it is sturdy. My daughter also got a gate from him at the same time and there was scratch on it when he installed it. He said that he would be back to repair and he did indeed come back and repaired it and I thought that was outstanding.
