AE Interlock Paver Design

these guys re- designed my entire back yard a few years back, did a great job. Recently, one of the valves on my drip system was failing and they came out and fixed it quickly and at a great price. They stand behind their work.

The installation itself went well. The workers were on time and finished the job on time. The completed job looked quite nice and clean up mostly went well. However, this company gets a C for a couple of reasons. First, because the surcharge for credit card use wasn't on the estimate sheet. There is a footnote on the estimate sheet itself, but it does not give the rate and the sales person did not tell it to me until after I agreed to the job and pulled out my card. This sort of thing should be clearly stated up front. Second, and most distressing to me, was the damage done to my garage wall during the installation. There was a small hole (approximately 7 inches in diameter) on the wall before the job began. Afterwards, the damage was significantly bigger, approximately 50 inches long and as much as 15 inches tall). When I brought it to the company's attention afterward, I was just told that the hole was there to begin with. But their own photo shows a much smaller damage than they left behind. Now I have to have that wall repaired, which will negate any savings I may have received by their lower installation cost for the pavers. I will not be using this company again.

Absolutely wonderful from start to finish! Kim, the owner, was so wonderful and pleasant to deal with. He was courteous, professional, conscientious and responsive. He called each time before he arrived to give us a heads up. His crew arrived on time and got immediately to work. They did an outstanding job! Just beautiful, top notch workmanship! They finished quickly in less than a full day - and cleaned up so well, it was as if nobody was ever here. The icing on the cake is that just this week, we had an area under our patio, which AE did not do (was already paved a few years ago) where we needed just 2 stones removed where a pvc drainage pipe was installed for a pot. We tried doing it ourselves but couldn't. I contacted Kim to ask if he could possibly do it for us, even as small as the job was; it only required cutting the pvc pipe down, filling and replacing cut stones with 2 intact stones. Within 2 days of contact he was out to take care of that for us....and didn't charge us for it - even though we live all the way in far north Scottsdale What incredible customer service!!! We cannot recommend AE Pavers highly enough! A gem of a company!!!

Called, spoke to salesman, made appointment to get a final bid on having pavers installed on my patio. Day of appointment (and since then) no show, no tel call to reschedule,nothing. Appears as if they don't want my business. Am going to try someone that does.

Called to schedule a quote. I was given early after noon on Friday. 4pm came called and I was told he got busy and that he can come saturday. Not a good way to start off . If you can't even call and say your running behind why would I even want to use you.

There were no troubles. What I liked was after the quote he was very through in giving us information on quality product he used as well as the process. He followed up several times so I knew that we wanted the business. Any changes we made along the way he was happy to give us a quote along the way so we were not surprised at the total.

The provider's representative's "bedside manners" were not the best. As the woman of the house and the person making the final decision on whom to award the job to, I felt ignored most of the time as he directed his comments primarily to my fiance. At one point, he was showing samples of the pavers to my fiance with his back to me, and I had to ask if I may see them too. But still, this was just an annoyance, not reason enough to justify eliminating this provider from the running. However, the real problem is that we never did receive a quotation from this provider so we awarded the job to someone else who responded as professionals should. I was disappointed as my earlier phone conversation with the owner of the business in setting up the quote appointment had sounded promising.

The experience was fine, I didn't have any problems with it or anything. They were very knowledgeable and very ( inaudible 02:02.3) to work with. We will probably use them in the future.

They had the best price of the companies we got an estimate and they did quaily work. They seemed knowlgeable on the work and had a lifetme warranty on the pavers.
