Description of Work: Install baseboards and cabinet toe kicks. I was in the middle of a remodel when I hurt my back. The Wood Doctor came in, gave me a fair estimate and completed the work as stated. Great job by a really nice guy.

To all and anyone reading this review. this person purchased my services in November of 2014.I called her numerous times to set up an appointment to look at the job.It took me until the end of February to finally see the house which turns out to be a buy and flip property.Upon arriving at the property I met with her in which she gave a total of 10 minutes of her time then telling me she had to leave. I had many questions for her telling her A this place is not nearly ready for doors/moulding etc..the house had junk/garbage sheetrock residue everyhere She left telling me to send her an e mail with costs.I took measurements anyhow. I spent almost 2 hrs. measuring.I did my best try and help her and her project but realized I could not properly price this job without a major cleanup.I called her at which time she told me that the mess and cleanup would be done in about 2 weeks.that was not so I finally spoke to her again in which she assured me the house was ready I went there again with her approval and still was not ready.I spoke to her again telling me she had to wait for the tile guys to start and finish the bathroom tiles. Now this almost 3 months into this.I called her again told her when all is done call me and ill do the work.I also expressed to her I would be out of town the week of April 7 2015 her answer was "well that's the week I need to have it done.The time came for me to leave called her when I got back,She indicated to me its still not ready.Now we are into May.She sends me an email in June indicating that her job is done with the exception of 1 project and would I care to do it Also to mention that she also e mailed with a request that I send her all the measurement so someone else could do the job.I have been installing interior woodwork for over 30 yrs knowing I did a days work for a days pay and never did wrong to anyone. I also sleep every night knowing ive done right by all who have entrusted me with their projects 'I sent her an e mail a few weeks ago to contact Angies list for a refund as per instruction by my acct manager She obviously did nothing about until today wit this false accusations about me not wanting to do the work How sad is this.I have no problem issuing her a refund knowing I did not earn this money working for it p.s I even have photos of what the property looked like when I went for my initial estimate. Last but not least today is July 26 2015 9 months have passed since the onset of this project Please tell me in 9 month span you as property owner cannot figure out how to complete a project that should take app. 2 weeks to complete HOW SAD and to try and tarnish my reputation for someone who takes a tremendous amount of pride in their work an ethics THANKS ROB WOODDOCTOR

Description of Work: He lived too far away. The work couldn’t be completed. He wanted to complete it in one trip and it was the kind of work that couldn’t be completed in one trip. So after a month of not hearing from him I decided to cancel the Big Deal.

[member name removed], your sending in this review on me now.When I initially spoke to you you mentioned something about cabinet repairs wher your new microwave was installed.What I mentioned to you briefly was you needed to find out the species of wood your cabinets are and the stain color so I can try and match it as close as possible.You never recontacted me again with any info in regards to the wood species or stain color..Just for the record I never told you that I would not come out but did ask you to do a little homework to help both of us out Thanks

I exprressed to Member that i do not do install exterior doors anymore due to the fact that with the sun being so strong and the heat so intense that there may be issues with the door for those reasons. I expressed to him that my ad read " interior woodwork". I would not be comfortable doing an install knowing that there may be issues in the near future Itake pride in my work as i have for the past 30 yrs and only want to do work that i know will have no future issuesI DO NOT APPRECIATE THIS RATING FROM THIS PERSON BUT MY AD SAID INTERIOR WORK HE SHOULD HAVE CALLED PRIOR TO PURCHASING MY BIG DEAL THANKS ROB WOODDOCTOR

I spoke with them on the phone and it turned out that the work I need done isn't something this company does. He was very straightforward with me and upfront and I appreciate that. He was very friendly and professional on the phone, very easy to talk to.
Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal for $79 for 2 Man Hours of Interior Carpentry.

from the first phone call to the last day on the job, the wood dr was professional, punctual, and even entertaining at times......he is easy to work with and his work is exceptional. he may be a bit more expensive than his competetors, but the pride he takes in his work shows in the quality, and it is worth it!
Description of Work: the wood dr framed out all the windows throughout my house, put up beadboard & shelf in my office, and cabinets & shelf in my laundry room.
