Jaycox AC Heating & Air Duct Cleaning

I have used them for the past 10 years and I have nothing bad to say. I have had 2 complete units replaced by them with no issues after install. The staff is the friendliest and knowledgeable. The tenure of their employees says a lot about the company!! I won't use anyone but Jaycox.

This is the third time I have used Jaycox and I have to say they are a great company. Dominic came out and I explained the situation about how my brother and I installed a new programmable thermostat. After we installed it we discovered that we had blown a fuse since we crossed wires (lesson learned to turn off power). I went to Lowe's got a new fuse and installed it in the blower. I noticed the blower didn't come on, but it did when I pressed the button. Dominic came out this Saturday morning and said I had fixed the issue, but I forgot one step. I needed to put the panels back on. Apparently, it is a safety feature to make certain people don't electrocute themselves. Pressing the button showed that it worked. I didn't know about putting the panel back on (another lesson learned). I love this company. They are just so honest and NEVER attempt to upsell me.

Office was extremely responsive to our needs as ac went out on a 115* day. Scheduled service call next day. Tech was knowledgeable, polite and speedy. Diagnosed problem immediately. Had the required parts. Knew our unit was in Warranty. Highly recommend!

Patrick arrived right on time. Super nice guy and the service was the best AC service I have EVER had. What was even more incredible was the fact that he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. This was a first. Every other company I ever had come over ALWAYS tried to sell me something. My only complaint, I wish I would have discovered them sooner and am glad I looked through The Inside Coup we received in the mail. I HIGHLY recommend Jaycox.

WONDERFUL! My old AC decided to bite the dust in July 2020 during VERY hot days. Jaycox AC responded promptly as possible to my install on a very hot Saturday morning. The crew was very professional and awesome, and the install was quick and without issues. I have used Jaycox AC service for about 4 years and they have always been a very good company.

I used them before and they're good. They're smart, knowledgeable and affordable. The workers were good.

I called and asked what Jaycox would charge for repairing a Carrier A/C still under warranty and provided detail of the work required based on what a service tech with a competing company, Day and Night Air Conditioning, had described and quoted. I also confirmed that my home was in their usual service area. Jaycox said the service call would be $65 and an additional $120 to remove and replace the condenser fan motor and run capacitor. I knew when I got the quote from Day and Night I was being gouged, but didn't really have the option to go with another company at the time. Day and Night charged me $315 which is roughly 70% higher than what Jaycox quoted. Feel free to look up the detailed review I placed on Angie's for Day and Night Air Conditioning today 9/3/2015 I expect to call Jaycox in the Spring and discuss an annual maintenance contract. I'm not trying to do business with the lowest priced company but do want to work with one that charges for services in a fair manner. Hopefully, my actual service experience with Jaycox will go as well as I anticipate, but I will continue writing detailed reviews to let everyone know.

These guys are the most professional service company I've ever worked with. Everything went right! Excellent service team, excellent office team, excellent period! The worked performed was flawless. My wife just mentioned to me how cooler it seemed upstairs now. Money well spent! Great Job Jaycox Team!

I used the warranty because we had bought a heat pump from them the year before. Their price is wonderful. They are always on it. I had them actually for a quote on my air ducts when I actually did an improvement to my home. So I thought they have a very good price and they did a very good work.

They do great work and they're coming to check our AC unit soon.

I had two other companies give crazy quotes. Patrick did the from the bottom up repairs to avoid any additional costs to the service. I called for service he was there within 30 minutes and stayed well into the night till the job was completed and 100%.

The repairman came almost immediately after we called. We trusted his guidance and felt very comfortable in our choice of Jaycox

Showed up on time. Very pleasant gentleman (Scott) Obviously very knowledgeable. Replaced a bad hot surface igniter in about 15 minutes. $65 trip charge and $120 for the part. Got Us back all toasty and warm once again.

Responded immediately and performed installed same day.

Wish they had instructed me to turn of A/C so it would have been fixable the same day. They did come back on a holiday with no extra charges. about 40 minutes later than promised.

Had rented our home out for five years whilst overseas and wanted to make sure the unit was still good before summer months kicked in. Our system checked to be in great shape. Technicians recommended using the thinner system filters, the ones you have to change every month, versus using the thicker ones on the market. They compared it to trying to breath through a straw, which means your system will work harder to cool/heat your home. Very knowledgeable and professional technicians. They arrived on time and were very efficient. Will only use Jaycox for servicing and maintaining our home heating and cooling system.

We just moved in to a home in Peoria and wanted to have the AC unit checked out to minimize problems this summer. We purchased the yearly contract which includes a free APS Emergy Audit of the home. We know that the insulation needs to be upgraded, so the deal that included the energy audit was a no brainer since we will be doing upgrades to save energy. The technician was on time, and did a thorough check of the unit. He found 2 capacitors that were on the way out (one was swelled up, the other had bad readings) and replaced those. I am extremely happy to have found those issues before they left us without AC on a night or weekend, which seems to be how things usually happen for us. We will be using Jaycox from now on. My Father-in-law in Sun City has also been a very satisfied Jaycox customer for years.

First, the temporary solution - In late afternoon, called to report that A.C. was inop and home was 86 degrees and climbing. John, a technician came to the home early next a.m. to assess, then repair the A.C. He installed a new fan to provide us cooling until we could look at options for a new system. John routinely services our A.C. unit (preventive service); we ask for him and appreciate his calm, quality work. Second, the review of options - Bob came by the home and reviewed models/Seer/EER/prices; explained how the central systems work. Advised us to "take your time to decide... and just call me with your decision." No pressure and lots of information with which to make a decision. Bob's been working in this field for more than 3 decades. Third, the new A.C. Unit - After making a decision to buy a new unit, within two days, a professional, cordial crew of three (Tony, Tyler and Jarred) came and worked as an organized team. Our new unit and new thermostat were in place within two hours. Kept me informed about the steps of the install; cleaned up all the installation debris; thanked me; and departed. Great experience. And through it all, Jaycox figured out how to keep our home cool in these 108-degree summer afternoons. This always feels like working with a "family." From Heather on the phone, to the Thank-You note from Terry Jaycox, President, this "family" is a class act. We have been their customers for some time....and will remain so.

.Jaycox checks my AC twice a year and last year I had them clean the air ducts. That service was fantastic, everything was protected, they came in and checked every duct, explained what was going on with the equipment they were using, gave me a verbal report which was followed by a written report.. The people were very professional and considerate and personable. Really a very competent company and crew.

They are our regular air conditioning company. They are okay. They are timely and they do good work. Their service people are professional.
