Description of Work: Once I ordered the deal for lawn seeding they emailed and let me know I would have to purchase the seed and the topsoil. This was not disclosed in the original Big Deal.

Description of Work: Received initial email about services and a phone number to contact the company, attempted to call multiple times before finally receiving a call back. Was unable to answer questions regarding service other than what they DO NOT provide. Very disappointed, seems as though Angie's list and company were trying to pull a fast one.

Description of Work: Easy to purchase the big deal and the company communicated with me right away but was put off when I found out the deal did not include top soil or seed, was purchasing this because I thought it included everything I have two small children and don't want to run any extra errands.

Description of Work: I called to schedule an appointment for an aeration of my lawn. After speaking with the company's representative, it became known to me that Irish Weeds & Termite has never in their history performed this type of work, and they don't currently have the equipment to do the job. I was told that Angie's List suggested to them that there was a need in the market, that wasn't be fulfilled, and they should get into the market to fulfill the need. The representative of the company stated that after they received enough orders they would buy the equipment to do the job. I am requesting a full refund. Thank you.

Description of Work: The services offered included "overseeding" and aeration but after purchase the vendor writes that I have to provide the seed and top soil. This is tantamount to false advertising and dishonest business practices. Please refund my purchase for failure to perform as advertised.

Description of Work: This is just an unfortunate miscommunication situation that should not have happened (most likely in this case to a good company). Pest control companies should sell Big Deals based on their service expertise, and not lawn maintenance, if that's not their specialty. At minimum, fine print needs to state fully what's on offer to set the correct customer expectations prior to purchase on Angie's Big Deal offers. I purchased a Big Deal from Irish for lawn aeration and overseeding. Later during scheduling process, they informed me that they were not professional landscapers, plus I'd need to provide the seed and topsoil. This was not stated in the fine print. I also wanted to clarify what tools they'd be using, how much seed they'd spread, etc. They said they had not worked that out yet. The deal was not what I had been led to believe so I requested a refund. The company responded graciously and with understanding. I'm pleased with the communication I received from this company. They were responsive and overall seemed very honest to me. It's too bad that this was my first encounter with them. Now I'm left having to fill out copious paperwork, and do tedious follow-up in order to process my refund from Angie's List over the next 30 days! and this was my first Big Deal purchase ever...makes me hesitant for future purchases, if any.

Description of Work: Sprayed front yard for weeds. Good extermination of stubborn small cassias and no regrowth. However, they keep missing some large perennials which I asked them to spray. they are willing to come out and spray them but I have not followed up.. | |Basically good service. I will keep using them.

Description of Work: Excellent service and did an amazing job on my less than ideal back yard. They finished on time and were very helpful allowing me to text pictures ahead of time to get the most accurate quote. I'd highly recommend them for weed cleanup. I'm planning on using them for pre-emergent so I don't have this recurring mess in my yard. Great job!

Description of Work: WEEDS WERE TREATED BUT THEY REMAIN DEAD ON PROPERTY. TWO PALM TREES ARE DYING WHICH WERE FINE BEFORE THE WEED TREATMENT. i AM CONCERNED THAT THEY WERE TREATED WITH THE WEED TREATMENT AS THEY WERE STRONG AND FINE BEFORE.

Description of Work: Sprayed the inside and outside for pests. I had to reschedule the initial appointment and they were very willing to work with me. Haven't seen any bugs since.
