I recently sold my home in Surprise, Arizona after owning it 17 years. Of those 17 years John the owner cleaned my pool and completed repairs for almost 11 years. Unfortunately his business has declined and his personal assistant is horrible and John really doesn't care anymore about anything but MONEY $$$. As of 2022, his business no longer included 2 filter cleanings as part of his very expensive monthly pool cleaning and maintenance package which was clearly communicated and agreed upon to me and by me as a long term customer. Well, they cleaned my filters anyway in July of 2022 when my home was for sale without approval from me. As a billable service now, the customer must give the approval for such additional billable services. I never was asked about this. When I emailed his assistant explaining that I did not approve this service and wanted the charges reversed, they dropped me instantly as a customer and LIED to me. Both his PA (horrible woman) and John lied to me saying they no longer cleaned pools and were rude to me and cut me off like I meant nothing. It was disgusting and it was unprofessional and I do NOT recommend him nor his business to anyone. His integrity is gone, he is all about $$$ , and he just doesn't care and they don't tell the truth, and I am so very disgusted with how he is running his business that I Have to tell others because this could happen to you! I had to scramble to get a stand in pool cleaner which was not easy and even more expensive. Do NOT use this company for anything. Can't be trusted at all after they handled their mistake towards an 11 year faithful customer like they did. Bad business and I truly hope they read this poor review after their unprofessionalism. Take responsibility and care for your customers ad stop being greedy and rude and tell the truth!!!

John does wonderful work and keeps our pool clean and healthy. He is reliable and professional and I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Ingenious Pools (John) is awesome. He replaced a leak in the pool pump, cleaned the filters, did initial pool check. He is fair in price, honest and reliable. I would recommend him to anyone.

John was quick to respond when I emailed him and came out the next day to fix the leak. He had the part in his van and was able to fix it immediately. While he was testing the fix he noticed that there was another leak at the filter and offered to fix that leak as well. He did not have the part with him but offered to pick it up and install it for the cost of the part. He returned a few days later and put the new seal on the connection and now pool is leak free. John was very knowledgeable and professional would highly recommend him and will call him for service in the future.

I recently bought a property with a pool that had really been let go. Green water, leaking/cracked pipes, all sorts of issues. I was referred to John by someone i liked and trusted and he's been great. He's great at communicating when he'll be there and has always been available when I needed to get ahold of him. John repaired/replaced all the cracked and leaking pipes. Installed new safe drain (inspector had listed old kind as ones that could disembowel someone since flat and so deep). Fixed leaking light. Installed new pool cleaner, new auto-leveler, new efficient motor. Installed a salt system and did maintenance while I was away out of state to get the pool ready for our move in date. He's a no pressure type of guy and has been great to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
