Very fine workmanship and prompt commitment. we had one week before we had to move into our new build and the vendor adjusted his schedule to get our project done to accommodate our move date.

Daniel was awesome! The entire process from my initial inquiry, to finished product was smooth! Easy to do business with / on-time / patient with questions / very fair price (actually several hundred less than another quote I received last year )/ pleasant all around. I will have him back for some garage ceiling crack repair and interior painting as well.

Everyone on the job was professional. The quality of the work is outstanding. They finished a day ahead of schedule.

I've been using Daniel more than 3 years now, for all my painting needs. In the past he has also done an epoxy coating in the garage of two of my rental properties. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services to anyone.

Daniel came out and gave an estimate which we felt was very fair. Work began a week later on a Monday. A worker arrived on time and began working in both bedrooms the first day.. At the end of the day, we found out that neither bedroom was usable (we were not told this or we would have made other arrangements). We called Daniel and he apologized and said that he could come over and make a room usable. We said we would work around it as we had a sofa bed on the porch. The next evening, and from then on, both bedrooms were usable at night. The second through fourth day, we had 3 workers on site. The fifth day, we had 5 workers on site, including the owner, Daniel. He is very particular about how everything looks and the house turned out great. My spouse and I are totally amazed at how great out from door looks after being painted (circa 1980). The ceilings and walls are also great. He even made paint color suggestions saying the color I had chose could appear too dark. We went with the lighter color and are happy we did so. We were very pleased and would hire again. I gave a slightly lower rating in professionalism as the workers seemed to be a little lax when the owner was not around. We noticed a significant difference the day Daniel was here compared to the other days. Daniel really cares about his clients and making them happy.

The outside trim on our home had a terrible weathered look to it when we purchased the house this Spring. DZ Painting came out to do an estimate on the outside trim, master bedroom, and great room. We received our estimate shortly after his visit and were surprised to see the outside gate was also included as an option (something we didn't think to update!). Each area DZ Painting offered to paint was clearly indicated on the estimate with a brief description of how and what the painters would fix and with what paint. We decided to move forward with only the outside trim and gate at this time. During the process of trying to settle on a date, Daniel followed up with us, which was appreciated. Before the work was done Maira touched base with us on the time the team would be there, and she provided us a copy of the paint contract for us to return to her. The day the painting was done everyone was very polite, and worked efficiently. The outside of our home now looks very refreshed and we were extremely pleased! We will definitely bring DZ Painting back out to paint the inside of our home in the future. Thank you!

They did a great job! The work took about 2 days to complete. There were two guys here doing the work.

We purchased all new kitchen appliances for the condo. Daniel's people took liberty of cooking their lunch in the vacant condominium without so much as asking permission nor cleaning up the mess in the microwave afterwards. Very unprofessional work ethic. In addition we noticed several areas that did not get the two coats of paint as advertised. Daniel did offer to clean the microwave oven but it was already done. The spots not getting a second coat were done by us with leftover touch up paint.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and everything was good. They did a good job.

I phoned Daniel of DZ Paint on 2/18. Within hours he was at my home to view the work to be done. On the spot he quoted me the price of $60 per door. At first when he told me they would be rolled instead of sprayed, I was hesitant; but he assured me the quality would be very good. I indicated I needed the work to be done by Saturday, February 21, and that I wanted workers to arrive prior to 6 am. The very next day, the workers arrived at 5:40 am. The work was done in just a few hours and the result is BEAUTIFUL. There isn't a high enough rating for this professional home painter. I will definitely use DZ Paint for my next major project, which will probably be painting the exterior or my home.

I spoke with the owner initially who came to the house to take a look. We walked around the house and I pointed out some cracked areas around the exterior. He was very polite and answered questions about who they would be doing crack filling, powerwashing and we went over the colors, brand of paint, and areas to be painted which colors. On the day of the service, the crew showed up on time. They were ready to paint the garage door a different color. One of the workers was then arguing with me about that eventhough it was clearly written out on our inital agreement. They wanted to paint it one of the other colors because they felt it would be the same as neighboring houses. He then reviewed paperwork and painted according to plan. The staff were notified that I have a chihuahua and to not leave the back gate open. I asked one of the workers at the end of the day if I could let him out. He said ok. So I let him out, did not see him come back. I then was calling him, no answer. The gate had been left over by the staff. When notified dog got out, a few of them looked down the block, didn't see him, finished up and left. So I was stuck with an aircast and a broken foot, hobbling around the neighborhood to find the dog. A few hours later he was found. One of the guys thought he would "help" and texture the patch area for me anyway. Id looked terrible, did not match existing stucco pattern and had to be scraped off. The paint work completed was patchy in some areas. I did a walk around more than once with the staff pointing out missed spaces, unfilled cracks several times. The staff doing the walk around did not understand English and appeared to not understand my pointing and pantomiming either. They reluctantly would fix some of the problems. I voiced my frustrations with the owner who reassured me that they would come and repair/finish everything to my satisfaction and that those sent to do the work would speak English. Again, a few staff members came, either did not understand or acted like they didn't and just stared at me like I had horns on my head. The staff on both occasions acted like they did not see any issues. There were actually some leaves painted to the side of the house! I had to point this out as something that was not acceptable. I have no idea how this complany got an A rating. The experience was more trouble than it was worth. I should not have to point out leaves painted to the house, cracks that should have been filled and areas where previous paint color was still visable, not to mention doing a patch that they were asked to leave alone (made more work for me to fix), and let my dog out and just leave.

I purchased a special deal that was supposedly half price. However the painter I used for the rest of the house would have only charged me $1,000 not $2,000. Beware of special deals.

The providers were very professional, and did a great job. Daniel worked with us to get the right color and his crew was very fast and efficient. This was a great experience

I selected the colorwhich they used. Workmen showed up and time and completed the work in two days.

They did a good a job. Very pleased with quality of work and the professionalism.

Daniel met with us and estimated our wall square footage, went through what would be covered and what would not be covered with the BIG DEAL that we purchased. Two painter showed up promptly when they were scheduled and worked week days until the project was completed. They did a good job of taping and cleaning up and hauling away their trash. Blinds were installed incorrectly at the end of job, I had to remove them and re-install but everything else was done correctly and for the size of the job that was a pretty small thing. I would consider using them again and recommend their services.

I have too many square feet in my home, it is not all covered under the deal. The extra charges are going to be too much. I do not want the deal. Please refund.

Daniel and his team did a great job. We have more work for Daniel's team to do than what was in the special coupon. Daniel gave us a reasonable estimate on which my husband and he could agree. All the work was performed quickly, quietly and to my expectations...Excellent. Clean up too. The inside repair and painting work was REALLY outstanding in the Master bedroom. In addition, the work done in the bathroom was challenging....I was only having one wall repaired and painted and the gentleman working for Daniel did a PERFECT job in matching colors. You can not tell that one wall was done, 11 years after the rest! What was really outstanding in the service, was Daniel and I had a slight difference of opinion re: a payment issue. Daniel and I discussed our differing needs and came to a compromise we could both work with. I would recommend DZ Paint and Daniel Zapata unreservedly. Teddylen Guffey

They arrived on time and prepped and painted the 2 car side of garage and then returned 2 weeks later to paint the 1 car side of the garage. I requested the service to be done in two different days about 2 weeks apart so I could move items from one side to the other without putting items outside during this time. The garage looks fantastic. I also received an estimate to paint my stucco, brick and wrought iron fence in the back yard.

I am writing this review under protest because Angie's list has repeatedly hounded me for a review. It's been so long ago that I can't even remember when the work was done....so the date is a guess. I have asked and asked and asked and asked and asked the representatives of Angie's List to please remove this request from my file and still after all these years, it continues to show up. Shame on Angie's list........guess what kind of a review I would give Angie's list on their own program site for this kind of customer service and responsiveness?!?!?!?!?

to I purchased an Angie's Big Deal for $1299.00 to paint the exterior of the house. The deal was for exterior painting of up to 1500 square feet of surface for a one or two story house, power washing, caulking, painting, and minor repairs. Daniel, the owner, came out to give me an estimate. We did a walk through and I requested they repair stucco on a 2 foot section on the top of the flat roof of the garage and a 2 foot section of drywall ceiling at the front entrance. Daniel sent me a quote the next day for $2698.00.The colors I had picked were lighter than the existing and would require an additional primer coat at $674.00, stucco repair at $178.00, ceiling repair at $78.00, replace garage door wood trim at $134.00 and paint patio cover at $335.00. I questioned the extra $335.00 cost for the patio roof and he said it was not part of the deal. I explained the the deal was for 1500 sqft and the house is on the books as only 1068 sqft. He said the deal does not include the patio, only the main house. I agreed to the work and requested the $260.00 upgrade to acrylic paint so I could get a 3 year warranty.The work was scheduled for the following week and the two painters arrived at the scheduled time and began promptly with taping and preparing for power washing and painting. The power washing, caulking, stucco repair, ceiling repair,primer coat and base paint were completed in 1 and a half days. WOW. Daniel arrived on day 2 before the painters were completed and I complained about the front porch light having been broken and the painters responded with ?not me not me?. Daniel agreed to replace the light fixture and requested the remainder of the payment while the painters completed their work. I had to email Daniel the following week to remind him of the porch light replacement and a list of complaints from the painting and repair work. He arrived the next day, to replaced the light fixture and we did a walk through with my complaints. He agreed to have the painters return and work on the patio roof and fascia painting. No additional paint was purchased because there was almost a gallon left over for the wood painting. Pros: The house looks a lot better with fresh paint. The front porch light was replaced. Cons: The extra cost for painting the patio roof. Patio door windows were not protected from power washing and I had to wash them after the work was completed. Paint on patio window, paint on patio screen door, paint on driveway cement from painting garage door, paint on plants against the base of the house, paint overspray on ground and grass at the base of the house, blue paint splattered on rocks, blue paint spilled on rocks and tried to cover it up, white paint spilled on Sedona Red Rocks and tried to cover it up. Painters used a piece of wood I had set aside to work on my gate for the stucco repair, didn?t ask me and left it in plain view on the ground by the front entrance when they left.

Daniel and his crew did a fantastic job. We couldn't be happier. They were courteous, timely, and thorough in their work. I would have no reservations recommending DZ painting.
