Overall experience was fine. We'd recommend him to neighbors. Craftsmanship was good, punctuality on work days was good as well. Somewhat slow to respond to inquiries would be the only draw back, but otherwise no issues.

Started on time and finished in about 4 to 5 days, everything was exactly as I asked. They are starting a new project for us in a few weeks. Easy to work with.

Scott Eppinger was very nice to work with throughout this process. He accommodated our request to meet early in the morning to discuss the potential job. His quote was substantially lower that the other quote we obtained. We added a couple of additional items to the job and these additional quotes were also very fair. All the work performed was high quality using excellent materials. We especially like the custom aspects of the job - the retaining wall with cultured stone surface and flagstone top is gorgeous. The flagstone patio is also very well done and created a beautiful focal point for our front yard. We also appreciated how Scott waited until he was able to obtain better Italian Cypress trees and didn't just settle on the first trees available. We would not hesitate to use Scott and AZ Dreamscapes for any future landscaping works we need done.

I built a 10 X 12 Pergola in my backyard and was in desperate need of pavers and rocks to finish it off. I contacted a few contractors and after meeting with my third one, I knew I found the answer. Scott and his crew Tony and Mark came through for me in the clutch. I didn't think my job was big enough after all the impressive reviews I read about their previous jobs, but I was wrong. They traveled across town to complete the job in one day which was my deadline. Not only am I thrilled about the job but I haven't stopped receiving compliments on the work that was done from friends, family, and neighbors. Based on the results of AZ Dreamscapes LLC's (Scott Eppinger) work at my home I would judge this business to be one of the best, if not the best, landscaping business in the northwest valley. I was in a hurry to get my job done and Scott went out of his way to accommodate me. His crew worked day to day in between other jobs for about a week to get my job done by my deadline. He has crew members who specialize in site preparation for proper drainage and installation of pavers and artificial turf. I learned by watching the installation of pavers that it is an "art and a science." The individual who did this work was very meticulous in the layout and design of a random 3-stone pattern. This is a beautiful extension of my patio and walkway that exits my backyard. The 300 sq.ft. of artificial turf, the oasis in my backyard, looks fantastic next to the new patio, paver border and walkway that surround it. This green space really brightens up the backyard and my dogs just love it! I know these low cost improvements have increased the value of my property and the amount of time that my family will spend in the outdoors enjoying the wonderful Arizona climate. All of our requirements were met in a timely manner. We couldn't be more pleased with the finished product and would gladly use them again and recommend them to anyone else.

Pros: Owner is super nice, tried very hard to please us, and aerating was included (which many landscape companies don't include). Cons: Hard to get a hold of (we played phone tag for a while), and the overseeding didn't work very well. He had to come back and redo it. They got tons of seed into all my planting beds, and I am still weeding out grass 5 months later! The front yard still doesn't look very good. Before this, we overseeded our own yard for 7 years, and ours usually looked better. Next time we may hire them to just do the scalping and aerating, and do the seeding ourselves.

Scott Eppinger (owner) and his crew were very meticulous in their work. If there was something that didn't look right to Scott or his crew, they would re-work the issue. For example, Scott didn't like the retaining wall when it was completed and decided to add stucco to it on his dime. It turned out beautiful. Another example is that he painted our gray brick walls with two coats of paint. He didn't like the way it turned out and painted it a third time without charging for the labor of the third coat. If there were pavers laid that he and his crew did not like, they would take the time to make it look better to their standards. I also want to point out that his crew was very courteous and made sure all tools and materials were put away. This includes sweeping the driveway from sand and additional soil brought in to complete the job. A week after the completion, Scott came back to investigate all pavers (including pavers added to retaining wall) to correct any lose items after the pavers have settled. For any projects that you need, don't go anywhere else. I took many bids from other landscaping companies and Scott's quotes were either less or the same as his competitors. (Note, I kept changing my ideas and Scott would provide quotes as needed). He is very much willing to work with the customer until the customer is completely satisfied.

We ran into some unexpected challenges such as a leaky swimming pool return line under the grass and the need to relocate an irrigation line out of the grass area. This was all taken care of without any problem. Scott and his crew never missed a lick. They did all they were expected to do, and more. The charges for the extra work were very reasonable. The turf looks great!! We are very glad that we had the job done.

Scott was very professional and helpful throughout the process. He worked around my husband's and my schedules and got everything done in a timely manner.

Scott came out and looked at my yard, and we discussed what I had done, which was have a large tree removed because it was too messy, and I was removing all of the rock in the yard with plan to replace it with same rock I have in back yard. I was also pulling up the irrigation lines with the expectation of having to run all new lines for the new plantings. I told Scott I was doing, and could do, some of the work myself, in order to save on the costs, but I needed a professionals opinion of what to do with the yard and a professional to do the heavy work with layout and planting. Scott expressed concern with submitting a design plan and then having me or someone else follow that design and do the all the work, and said he could draw up a plan but it would cost $250 for him to do that. Maybe a little less since the yard was small. I said I didn't expect a formal, professional design layout with all plants and points identified. I said I understood his concern, and all I wanted was a rough design of what he would do, and approximate costs, and that the final plan specifics could be determined later if I went with his design and his company. I asked for that rough design and it was my understanding that he agreed to do that. Two days later I sent another email clarifying that I was not concerned with keeping a open path to the RV gate and that his design should cover the entire left front yard area. Four days after that email I received an email from Scott with the Landscape Contract attached. In that contract was listed the processes that would be performed, and the items, by count or volume, that would be planted or placed. There was no line item price breakdown for each process or product, just a bottom line cost. And there was no Rough Design. Nothing to show what he'd would do with the yard. I sent Scott an email saying that what he sent me was not something I could use or even consider. There was no rough design to compare with the other designs I had received and was to receive, and that the list of processes and products without prices was totally unacceptable. How could I compare his plan with others when he gave me no plan, just a bottom line total cost. And, that I was "extremely disappointed". I then said if he misunderstood my request and would submit a "rough design", I would still consider it. The next morning I got a call from Scott were he told me he didn't think he could work with me and, I can't remember his exact words, but something to the affect that he didn't appreciate the content of the email I sent him. He also told me he didn't do "rough designs", but that he could break down the costs, if I wanted that. I told him that would not be necessary, or to never mind, I can't remember my exact words. But, basically, I would go elsewhere for my landscaping needs. They say "Free Estimate", but if you want a design plan, you have to pay for it. They, apparently, will not submit even a rough design with their "Free Estimate". And, why should I have to ask for a price breakdown, that should be automatic. I thought I would be going with AZ Dreamscapes from the reviews I read, but, from my experience, I would not go back to them, nor would I recommend them to family or friends.

We are extremely happy with our new fountain. Scott is a pleasure to work with. He values quality construction and customer satisfaction equally. Every detail of the project is approached with the idea that the outcome must be of the highest quality. He contributes valuable ideas and communicates well. We will use him again for a lighting project and recommend him highly.

Scott, the owner of AZ Dreamscapes, was outstanding to work with. He is most professional as is his team. He quoted me a price which was essentially the same quoted by other companies however I went with Scott's company because I loved the quality of the synthetic turf and the fact that Scott took care of all my landscaping needs. I changed a few things from the original quote but Scott worked with me and though the end date moved (due to my changes), Scott accommodated my needs and the quality of the work performed was excellent. I highly recommend AZ Dreamscapes and plan on using Scott for any future work I may have.

Scott was able to get us in fairly quickly. They did a very good job, and whatever they used to kill the grass and weeds in the rocks worked great! We look forward to keeping them on as our yard maintenance company and to having them do additional work.

He did work in my front and was supposed to do work in the back, but I have not had it done yet because he did not follow through with what was done on the front. He did not complete the lighting as he was supposed to. He also was supposed to do some other things, but they did not get completed.

The estimate was very competitive. Scott (and his crew) was easy to work with, happy to answer questions, and often re-confirmed details with us during the installation. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work. We wanted curving paths that required a lot of cutting and fitting, and it looks great. Likewise the masonry bench and fountain are very well done. We would definitely use AZ Dreamscapes again for any future landscaping.

Scott and his crew were awesome. I took 5 bids and not only was Scott's bid very competetive he was by far the most professional and sincerely interested in what we had in mind for our back yard. One bidder didn't show up for our appointment, another never calIed back and the other two just didn't seem overly interested in doing business with me. It took Scott and his guys about 5 work days and the results are amazing. After each work day they left the yard clean and organized. I live in a brand new development with houses still being built so there are allot of landscaping jobs going on. When I compare what we had done and what others are having done our yard by far is the best. If you want quality work that is worth every penny then AZ Dreamscapes is the way to go. When it's time for our front yard we'll definitely use this company again.

I would highly recommend this company. Scott, the owner, has a very good eye for design and which materials would be best to use. He was hands-on with his crew. He is very easy to work with and is eager to please. He always tries to give the customer the most for the money, and he worked within our budget. We give him a top recommendation.

Az Dreamscapes LLC were punctual. They got back to us: they came out when they were supposed to. When we asked for a new quote because we decided we couldn't afford the first version, they gave us a second one. The job is to remove the lawn and replace it with gravel and plant a tree. The second quote is still high.

Placed a request with Home Depot one evening, received a call from Dreamscapes the next day. Came out and bid the job, start and finished as promised. Excellent communication re who, what, when would be here. Great Job!

They quoted me $6000. He was very professional, very friendly and very knowledgeable. I'm not sure yet if I would use him because I'm waiting to get one more quote and then will make a decision.
