AZ Dreamscapes was professional, courteous and punctual while doing the pavers. Scott was very good at looking atthe yard and advising on the best plan for the pavers. He came with samples so we could see the pavers in all sorts of light and areas before we decided on the color. Tony was an awesome foreman he was there everyday and was smiling, polite and singing while working. The crew was great who were working on the project. I would highly recommend Scott and his team to anyone who is looking for pavers.

This was a top notch experience in every way, from the first phone call requesting an estimate, his thorough written estimate and explanation of the work to be done, etc. Scott also provided samples of the paver blocks for approval before delivery and installation. Scott was very prompt and professional. His lead foreman Tony and crew were very hard workers, thorough, courteous and polite. They arrived punctual each day and cleaned up daily and at the end of the project. We had no problems or concerns with leaving our yard for them to work while we ran errands. Scott would typically come at least once daily to check on how things were going. Both Scott and Tony were a pleasure to work with, and if we ever need more work done, we would definitely use them again and certainly recommend AZ Dreamscapes!

We called AZ Dreamscapes because of good reviews on Angie's List and Yelp. We prefer to work with LOCAL businesses, and this was within 10 miles of our home. I've used professional landscapers several times in several states, so know the process. Scott arrived when scheduled to do an estimate. He patiently listened to our needs and what we viewed as a final landscape. We are new to Arizona, and he made several excellent suggestions. We have 3 dogs and needed smaller rocks and no plants hazardous to them. We had other estimates done, and Scott was about the middle cost wise. We chose him because he seemed genuinely interested in OUR project and needs. We had to "wait" for a start date--about 2-3 weeks--as Scott is quite busy. It was worth the wait. If you are a person who needs every detail drawn out in advance, you need to tell Scott that from the beginning. I am not that tied to every detail, but do put lots of emphasis on the final outcome. I think a certain amount of faith in Scott as a designer is required, but MY faith was certainly rewarded. He is a skilled designer. His company did the following work: 1. Trimmed a VERY overgrown olive tree to about 1/3 its overgrown size. Two months later, it is thriving. 2. Cut back an African sumac and an oleander to sizes appropriate for our yard 3. Removed all the stone from the back yard and replaced it with gravel--our choice for the dogs 4. Installed 2 areas of artificial turf along back patio 5. Built a slate rock edged bed for planting 6. Finished an unfinished patio with pavers 7. Planted several areas and edged trees with pavers 8. Improved our irrigation system. 9. Changed our design to include a dry riverbed in the back when a huge rainstorm indicated that we needed better water runoff. This added only gently to our bill. Work was completed in about 10 days. His employees are fantastic--some of the hardest workers I've met. They were courteous and careful to leave the back yard safe for our dogs each day. It could not have been done any better. Scott has been back a couple of times to check on our irrigation and make sure we are happy with the outcome. We are! We are anxious for spring when some of the plantings will begin to thrive. Even without lots of growing things, the yard looks great, and our water bill has gone down significantly since he adjusted the irrigation. I'd use his company again in a heartbeat.

Everything went smoothly. Scott and his crew did an excellent job of letting us know when they would be here, what they'd be doing each day/week. From tear out to final completion, we were very happy with the work performed. We had several additions and changes and Scott was great in working them into the timeline. He and his crew would fix leaks that they hadn't created, would sweep up after each day. They really work the project as if it was their own home. I even watched (unbeknownst to Scott) that he wasn't happy with the way our rock boulders were facing, so he had his workmen turn them around 180 degrees. We've passed out several business cards to people inquiring about our yard and have gladly told them how good it was to work with Az Dreamscapes. If we ever move or need more work done, Az Dreamscapes is who we will call.

We are incredibly happy with our yard. Scott and his crew were fast, organized, and seemed proud of their work. Our daughter loves the grass and we love being able to enjoy our yard again! . We have AZ Dreamscapes come to our home on a monthly basis to perform routine maintenance of our front and back yards. Previously, I have become accustomed to unprofessional, and ever-changing pricing on a routine basis, UNITIL I met Scott of AZ Dreamscapes. We met AZ Dreamscapes as they worked a rather large and complicated outdoor renovation of our back yard. It started as a mess and was transformed to a place that we are still marveling at every day. After that job was complete, we spoke about AZ Dreamscapes about maintaining our property on a monthly basis. Today we know the day that Scott and his team will be coming by (weather permitting) and can trust AZ Dreamscape to do what is necessary to our home, a place we can be proud of. The "routine" maintenance is ever-changing and is solely dependent upon what the team sees that needs correcting. I have also become somewhat spoiled by AZ Dreamscape. Where at one time I had to be home to tell our gardeners what to do and how to do it. We met this company while shopping for a company to create a beautiful outdoor environment for our home. Scott and his team was one of the lowest priced companies who bid on the job as well as one of the best rated by Angie's List. He and his men did a fantastic job of changing a rock-based back yard into a beautiful area that we will use and enjoy. After he did such a professional and price competitive job converting our rock-fill back yard to a beautiful living area, we spoke to him about using his services for (near) monthly front and rear yard maintenance. Scott and his team came out one time (thus far) and did a wonderful job of trimming/cutting/cleaning etc. both of our yards. Additionally, it was done faster and for less money than the two crews we used prior to this date. (We learned about the previous companies from neighbors who claimed they were "looking for a deal.") All of us paid more and received less than when I contracted with Scott and AZ Dreamscapes. This is another example indicating that going to Angie's List and using qualified people, will cost less and you will receive more and better overall work than the neighborhood "chatter." Az. Landscape gets a solid 5-Star rating from me. From initial meeting with Scott for a free appraisal through the completion of the project was an unbelievable pleasant experience. His wife, Sheri, who coordinates any questions from their home office gets back very quickly to answer any concerns. Scott and his lead foremen, Tony, both worked very hard as well as supervising at the job site. The crews were always on time and certainly earned their money on this project working during our triple digit heat in early September. All the workers were very polite and cleaned up everyday before leaving. I was 100+ % satisfied at the completion of this project. The fountain looks and operates like it should now. Finally I have my water automatically refilling in the basin as needed. The Midiron sod is growing and turning a beautiful green. Soon it will be cut and Scott and his crew will be installing our winter yard this year. Due to his professionalism, hard working courteous crew, and "complete satisfaction" attitude for his customers, I will be having him on a permanent basis be my lawn and yard maintenance company. A pleasure to work with from start to finish. The best experience I've ever had with a contractor!

I had contacted several others for estimates on the same 2 projects. Most dropped the ball; either did not follow up as promised or made an appointment and did not call or show up. Dealing with Scott was a delight from the get go. He called a few hours prior to the initial appointment to advise he had some car trouble and we rescheduled for the following day within a two hour window. Showed up as scheduled. Raising the block wall was pretty straight forward. We reviewed how we would approach and place the planter retaining wall. Scott addressed all of my questions along with his own suggestions. We discussed how he would approach having to circumvent a huge buried tree stump from a eucalyptus tree I had removed some time ago. He said he would email the contract and set a date for work to begin. Scott made a subsequent visit to sign the contract in person and go over the game plan at which time he was given a 50% deposit. He and his foreman Tony picked up all of the material and placed on my property the morning of installation. Scott then left and Tony completed the wall by himself and was gone by 3pm. Before he left, however, Scott came by again to check on everything and deliver the materials for planter and informed me they would return the following morning to do the retaining wall. I left the gate opened and Tony let himself in as scheduled and started right to work. Now here's the impressive part: The typical installation for this type of bock starts with trenching and leveling, then laying a (paver) sand base for the first row. The blocks are then stacked, sort of interlocked for the remaining rows. Scott said that instead, they use concrete for the base row as it is more secure..it's also far more labor intensive. It was, as expected, a very hot day, yet Tony dug it all out by hand and meticulously set the bottom row of blocks measuring and ensuring along the way that all was level. He completed the entire job solo and Scott returned to make sure all was done as expected at which time he was paid the balance due. Cleanup was thorough.They also hauled off the old wood ties, and moved the left over blocks to an area out of the way of my choosing. In addition, I had quite a few sandbags I had saved thinking they could use it for the base. At my request they moved a bunch of them to along the top of the planter so I could use in the fall when I add plants. Scott is a very personable yet professional guy, clearly concerned with quality and customer service as well as communication. Both he and Tony were a pleasure to work with. The entire process was seamless; I not only would highly recommend AZ Dreamscapes, I requested a quote for another small project.

I contacted Scott from AZ Dreamscapes primarily to built a fountain in our yard, but also to replace a dead tree and fill in some areas in my yard that had sparse gravel. He was very responsive and came out within just a few days to check out the space and take measurements. We told him that we wanted a fountain that made a lot of ambient water noise while being minimally attractive to birds (our cats are murderers). I mentioned a pondless waterfall but he thought that might be too big for the space we wanted so he suggested a 3-column fountain made out of 3 different-sized column-shaped boulders. We agreed with his recommendation and paid him 50% of the total. As he was preparing to build the fountain, he determined that the column design would not be nearly as loud as he thought and it would not meet our desires. So, he told my fiancé he would modify the design at no cost to us such that it would meet our desires. We honestly had no idea what it was going to look like, and were kind of laughing at ourselves that we were paying so much money for a "mystery fountain". However, we trusted that Scott would make something amazing. We had to leave town for a couple days and came back to the fountain mostly completed. Oh my goodness, it is amazing. He went back to our original desire of a pondless water fall, getting boulders that matched the existing boulders in our yard and making it an appropriate size for the space. We could not be happier. In addition to doing the work agreed to in the contract, he also recognized that the original irrigation system for our plants was not up to par (agaves and cacti receiving as much water as leafy plants like the bougainvillea) so he capped the cactus drip lines off (with our concurrence of course) at no cost. For the new tree, he installed 36" deep wells on all sides that the drip lines run into so that the tree's roots will be encouraged to grow down, not out. We are so happy with his work and will definitely contact him in the future if we have any more landscaping needs.

I gave Scott a general idea and he designed the final look. Foreman Tony and his crew are master craftsmen. I really can't say enough good things. This is the best contractor with whom I have worked. They started when they promised & kept us informed throughout the process. The backyard looks fantastic. Now, we just need to get started with the front yard and I can guarantee that AZ Dreamscapes will be doing the work. Call these guys and never look back. No additional quotes are needed. They are extremely fair in their pricing and their work stands above the rest.

Before picking AZ Dreamscapes to perform the work on our backyard, we got several quotes from contractors. Some of these contractors would perform both the hardscape and pool upgrade work, while others were separate contractors for the hardscaping and pool rennovation. While AZ Dreamscpes wasn't the lowest bid, they were more than competitive. I think what really sold us on AZ Dreamscapes was how comfortable we were with Scott when he came out to take measurements and offer suggestions on approaches to accomplish what we wanted to have done. Scott was extremely enthusiastic and gave us the impression he would really work with us, which he did. After signing the contract, we had to wait about 2-3 weeks for them to finish up a previous job, but once they started on our project, they worked on it straight through to completion. It ended up taking a little longer than Scott had originally estimated, but based on the quality of the work that he and Tony, his brick and tile man extrodinaire, were doing, that wasn't a problem at all. AZ Dreamscapes is a small company, owned by Scott and his wife Sheri, and it was obvious throughout our project that they and Tony take a lot of pride in doing whatever it takes to make the customer happy. My wife and I worked very closely with them to come up with the layout for the patio extensions as well as the stone accent planter. If you're the type that wants/needs to have pdf design drawings showing the exact dimensions of everything, then AZ Dreamscapes, may not be right for you; however, if you're willing and able to be engaged with Scott and Tony in the hands on design, then you'll really enjoy working with these guys. Overall, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Scott and Tony. They are perfectionists and strive to give you an amazing result. And, we enjoyed their sense of humor. We would, and already have, recommended them to some our neighbors who are thinking about doing some backyard remodeling. My wife likes to say that AZ Dreamscapes gave us the "backyard of her dreams"!

It went very well. Scott Eppinger is the owner/operator of AZ Dreamscapes and did the job himself in 3-4 hours. He explained about "nano-sealer" in our first phone contact and suggested that I search the internet to find out about this comparatively new product, of which I had never heard. It forms a "molecular bond" between the sand the pavers acc to the net - and is supposedly very strong. I can't report on the strength, but it DID bond the sand grains together inside the cracks...and to the pavers themselves as well, from what I could tell. The sand in the gaps between pavers now has a hard surface that is not easily penetrated (with a nail). It does not blow out on the paver surface, nor can it be washed out with normal hose-off cleaning....this is still the case now after more than a month. The sealer was supposed to give a "gloss" finish to the paver surface, but this did not really happen, however. The pavers retained a mostly natural look, similar to what they had before the sealer. Scott was METICULOUS about the cleaing of the pavers after he sanded the gaps....no exaggeration. He swept and blew off the surface multiple times to be sure it was clear and clean of sand. He also power washed the pavers before any of this. He also more or less insisted on removing and replacing a paver that was set slightly lower than the rest, which was not a simple task. He ended up having to break the paver to get it out....and replace it with a new one ---- dead level when he was finished. He was extremely careful about not applying the sealer too heavily....perhaps more so than necessary? We had a few places (4-6) where the sand had sunken in and left a deeper crack...these appeared about a month later. So I called Scott and he came back and filled those places in with more sand....then applied more sealer specifically to those areas. He did this at no extra cost, though I told him I would understand if he charged, as it had been some time. Please don't misunderstand --- these sunken areas between the cracks were not an installation error, necessarily --- I don't think Scott makes those. It was more a matter of understanding exactly how to apply the product. The result cannot be faulted. After installation...we did have some discoloration of the a couple pavers...which Scott said was "efferevescence," that would disappear when it warmed up and dried out well. It did. Bottom line....Scott will do what he says he can do....on time...and correct anything that needs it. Promptly. He returns calls...he is knowledgeable --- he is professional.

After meeting with several providers, I chose AZ Dreamscapes to do the work because Scott was the only one to truly listen to what I was trying to accomplish. He arrived promptly on the day scheduled to view the property and to discuss what I wanted to do. His estimate included everything that we had discussed, as well as, additional gravel to fill-in the existing gravel. To me this not only demonstrated his attention to my goal but also his attention to the property and what was needed for the best result. Upon receiving the estimate, I did have some questions and contacted the office. Sheri was pleasant, courteous and professional. A joy to speak with. She relayed my questions to Scott who promptly contacted me and provided me with clarification. Scott arrived each day of the project as scheduled and met with me to discuss what would be done that day and to inquire about any questions/concerns that I might have. He made suggestions but the final decision was always up to me. There was no high-pressure or up-selling involved. Luckily, the inspection of the irrigation system yielded no problems and was able to be used with no additional cost incurred. The entire job was completed on time, exactly as estimated and I am completely satisfied. AZ Dreamscapes rates an A+++ with me. It is a company that I will readily recommend to family and friends and look forward to doing business with again.

Scott, the owner was a pleasure to work with. He estimated it would take about a week to complete the job and it was right on. The crew was very professional and did an excellent job on the driveway and the pave stone. They paid great attention to every detail. They kept me advised as to when they would be onsite which I really appreciated. I have done several renovations to my home in the last few years so I am very familiar with dealing with contractors. These guys were excellent and I would use them for any future projects that are in their area of expertise.

It went wonderful. We had some leaks as a landscaper messed around with the timers. They came out at no cost and fixed the timers on the irrigation system.
