It took 2-3 times the amount of time it should have taken. Tech could not find his tools and worked extremely slow. They give you the perception of a flat rate fee plus wire, but your also paying for how slow they are. I gave them a choice of using my antenna or theirs. Mine indoor/outdoor antenna was new, next to my TV and was working 90% well, so he chose to use mine. After being hit with $483 bill total, to relocate my antenna to the attic (25ft of wire with my Antenna), the reception was actually worse later that day. I called them back to use their antenna and I hit for another $261, just to swap out my antenna for theirs. By the way, I took a photo of their antenna and the same antenna from the same manufacture can be purchased for well under $40 dollars from Amazon. The total bill was $743, in which $120 was returned to my after I expressed my dissatisfaction.

Spoke with Keith on the phone about hooking up an antenna to all my TVs as well as a Digital recorder. Keith was awesome recommending the make and model recorder to get, etc. set appointment to have tech come out to house for install. Keith quoted about $350-450 for install. Tech shows up to the house and start discussing the install. He starts adding fees $299 for antenna install, $100 to run cable, $15 per tv to program and $175 to program recorder. Install went from $350-450 up to $649. When I said we were not going to proceed the tech mentions we charge $49 for the bid and it can be applied if you proceed. The tech starts cleaning up and come back with on we need $99 for the bid because we thought it was an install. To make thing worse not only did he double the price they never gave a written quote for the install. This is total BS the way this company does business. They advertised price on website $49 for in home consultation and even mention military discount. Apparently my military discount is double the price. I will report to better business as well as ROC. I am very disappointed as Electronic Wizards came highly recommended by a coworker and two of us were planning on using service but business ethics are lacking. BEWARE.

It went well. These guys are very good. They put a HDTV antenna in the attic (we get about 80 channels) and set up our smart TVs so we can use apps for our tv entertainment (Netflix, Hulu, Sling etc.). Saves us a ton of money!!! Also had the do our surround sound install. It was pre wired by the original owner, so it was a matter of getting speakers and components in the right spots. We also asked for speakers on our back patio, which were not pre wired. They ran into a firewall which stalled installation for a bit. However, they figured out how make it work. I was very happy with the outcome.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We have invested a lot of money in a home audio system and particularly with the vendor prior to Electronic Wizards. Our experience with Electronic Wizards was day to night in comparison of service, knowledge and price. Don't waste your time or your money searching elsewhere or using any other service. Trust me, I know!! These guys are remarkable and I will use them again for our home business computer network and installation of a home security system. VERY HAPPY!

Don't waste your money. The owner told us it would be 350 (50 of that for the technician to travel, but who lived in the same town as us). When he was finished, he told said it would be 400 dollars. They were even going to try to charge us 30 dollars for a cable splitter which you can by for 3 dollars. We're beyond ******, the owner didn't budge about charging us the original price. Their website prices also don't match their actual prices. Very misleading. You can't say you charge a flat rate of 300 (which is already a lot of money) and then start adding up... saying it's 100 more after doing the job is misleading. It would be nice of if the actual listed cost was the real cost on a given invoice!

Terrible. They didn't come with needed equipment. They brought a used direct tv dish and components and could't get a signal-left and returned with a different LBN then again with a different SWIM adaptor-turned out to be pointing dish in wrong directions. Instead of 3-4 hours took three trips over 3 days with me going to best buy and amazon to pick up and order parts they should have brought. Wires were not run as I believe they represented. Still doesn't work properly but I will have someone else finish the job. I probably should have gotten a written estimate. See photos to draw your own conclusion! Keith and his son were GREAT. I got multiple bids for a new 4K 65" Sony TV and wanted to put in a 5.1 Surround Sound system in the family room for a new home we purchased that was pre-wired for it. A2Z bid was very competitive with the other 3 bids I got but I chose them as their responsiveness and ability to listen to my wants/need was outstanding. Kieth recommend an Onkyo Receiver and Klipsch in-ceiling speakers. His son installed the system and provide the TV I wanted (cheaper than Best Buy or Amazon price) and even programed my Harmony Remotes. They both took the time to answer questions and did not leave until the job was done and I was satisfied. His son came out a few days later at my request for more questions and was very helpful. If you are looking for a reasonably priced company that is focused on the customer look no further for your electronic needs. I highly recommend them.

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE REVIEW BEFORE HIRING THIS COMPANY! SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND FRUSTRATION BE WELL-INFORMED BEFORE MAKING THE CHOICE TO HIRE THIS COMPANY! After reading the reviews for this and other companies that offered the same service, I was encouraged by this company's numerous A-ratings. I called and spoke with Keith, who was very pleasant and professional during our first telephone interaction. The first thing I told him about the job I needed done was that I needed someone who could "think out of the box" to get this job done. I told him that the room that the tv was to be mounted on the wall in was our den, which is an addition to our house and the wall surface was drywall over brick. He did not seem to be fazed at all, telling me that the labor would be $199. He asked me if I had a mount already or if I needed one. I told him that I had been looking at them, but if he could recommend one, I would be appreciative. He said that he had the perfect mount for job. I trusted his judgment, and had him add it to the price of the job. I have to say, before I continue, that his choice in mount seems like it was a decent choice, as he only charged me $189 for a mount that I researched and would have cost me at least $249 elsewhere. Upon his technician's arrival, I showed him the wall that the tv was to be mounted on. He proceeded to pull out his stud finder to try and locate the stud behind the drywall. I told him that there is none, as it is drywall-over-brick and I told his boss that same thing. He said that this had not been communicated to him, and that this would require "special equipment" to handle the job. I trusted that he had that equipment with him and left the room to shower and get ready for work. In the time it took for me to shower and dress, the technician was calling me into the room to show me that the mount was up and how sturdy it is. He proceeded to mount the tv as I left the house, my wife in charge of overseeing the rest of the job. Approximately 15-20 minutes later, I began receiving text messages from my wife telling me that the bill was absurd and that it was close to $500 for the job. She then sent me a photo of the bill (the last one in the group of pics I posted), and not only did it include a $55 trip charge (HUH???) but it also included a cost for the almost 30 minutes of labor which amounted to $225. The "extra" charge, the tech told my wife, was for the "additional" labor involved in mounting the tv to a brick wall. When my wife went out to inspect the job, she noticed that neither our cable box nor the dvd player were connected to the tv. The guy told my wife that, if she wanted him to do that, it would be even more "additional" labor, which would be charged over and above the already-conflated labor charge that he was planning to charge us. The only thing the guy did was plug the tv into the wall. When I came home, I inspected the job that was done. Not only was the mess he made was not cleaned up (photo #1), or the sound bar that I asked him to see about installing was left out of the box on my coffee table (photo #3), but he didn't even take the box that the tv mount came in with him. This job was totally unsatisfactory. I called Keith to voice my disappointment about the price of the job, the surprise about the additional charges, and the mess left by his tech. He was a bit curt, but told me that the $55 trip fee was a "standard" charge. I told him that I had priced the same service at Best Buy and their Geek Squad would have only charged me $150 for the job with NO "trip charge", to which he responded that he does much better work than Best Buy does, but I'm still hard-pressed to see $75 better work. He also told me that no one advised him that the tv would be mounted on a brick wall, thus incurring the additional labor charge. I indicated that he WAS informed by me about the brick wall, as it was the first thing I told him when I explained the job needed. He offered me a refund of the totally unnecessary "trip charge" and the $25 extra "labor" charge. I have to say that I'm not all that fond of the finished job, as you can clearly see the mount behind the tv (photo #4). In all, it was a completely unsatisfactory outcome to an overpriced job. If you are considering hiring this company to do any work for you, consider yourself forewarned.

The tech was very knowledgeable and installed the explained all of the equipment and how to use it to me so that I knew what to do. I am very happy with the work that they did and would defiantly have them come back again to do work for me.

At first I thought the price was a bit steep for the number of English speaking channels we ultimately got, but when I addressed that with Keith he immediately said it is crucial that his clients are satisfied and happy. He agreed to lower the ultimate price paid for the job and I am ecstatic at the attention Keith paid to me. The technician Carlos was friendly and professional and explained how the satellite works exactly. I will definitely be hiring again in the future. A++ company.

I was very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of Keith and his son Corey. I was replacing a 13 year old tube TV and Corey came to my house to give me advice on what size LED TV would fit best in my wall unit and provide the best viewing experience in my living room. I purchased a from them, along with a Universal remote. Corey spent a total of 4 hours at my home with the consultation and set up. He made sure all my devices were working correctly and even moved the old TV to the curb for trash pick up. It was a pleasure doing business with this company.

I called and talked to Keith the owner and he was very knowledgeable in all aspects of home entertainment systems and very friendly, He went over the options of what I could do with my home theatre and what would be the best way to go. We then set up a time for one of his technicians to come out and install everything. The technician was also very knowledgeable and friendly. He installed everything and even hid all of the wires in the wall for me. He also showed me how to use the universal remote and said if I have any questions or need further assistance that I can call the office and they would gladly help me. I would highly recommend Electronic Wizards to anyone looking for a good friendly company.

Everything went well. I got knowledgeable equipment information and advice as well as complete, professional installation. Everyone involved was personable and efficient.

I called and they delivered with outstanding skill. My computer hadn't been running for nearly a year and they had it fixed in less then an hour. They did a great job and were more then affordable.

We called Electronic Wizards and two young men came to our house that afternoon. They got us up and running within a few moments. The two young men were professional and very polite. My only issue I have is with their $90 trip charge. Once in your home, another clock starts, (I think it is a reasonable $45/hour.) Prior to the techs coming to my home, I asked the person who took my call, if there was any "labor" charge associated with the "trip charge." He told me that if the techs can fix an issue in 5-10 minutes, we would only pay the $90 "trip charge. The techs had me up and running in a few moments. They told me that the charge was going to include labor. I told them about the call I had earlier, they verified it and returned with a $90 invoice. I was about to give them my credit card (as it gives me some protection). I learned that they will take cash or checks or we would pay an additional charge for the use of credit cards. Although for the technical job this company did was great, their pricing structure (especially the "trip charge") seems a bit high.

The man who did the installations was polite, clean, and professional. Since I contacted the business through Angie's list, I should have been eligible for a 5% discount, but I forgot to ask! Given the complications the poor guy ran into with the wiring, I am not complaining!

Keith is particularly outstanding in getting work done. He was on time, courteous, polite, and most professional. He gets a triple A rating from me. I recommend him highly to anyone who ever has a need for his services. He is dependable and reliable. Anytime I call he responds via telephone call. He made more than one trip back just to make sure that everything was okay on the professional results of the services he provided. Anybody who wants to use him can count on him.

Corey arrived earlier than scheduled, which is always a plus. He replaced our old AV Receiver, CD player and DVD player with a new AV Receiver, Bluray and programmed a Harmony remote. We had purchased the equipment ourselves and talked to Keith Brown about the installation process. Corey showed us how to work all of the equipment. We are very happy everything went well. Would not hesitate to use them again.

First, I called A2Z Electronic Wizards after finding them on Angie's List and seeing the positive reviews. I spoke with Keith Brown. He was very professional, asked questions, listened well and gave me a cost estimate. To make things even easier, we followed up in email here on Angie's List because the setup allowed me to send Keith pictures of the elements for the project. He wrote back within 10 minutes and confirmed his company could easily handle the job and he confirmed the estimate. I set up an appointment, which was very soon after we spoke. Keith let me know the name of the technician who would be coming to my house. The new speakers fit the screw-in mount already up on the wall but the speaker wire from the old speakers that was already running through the walls had a different connection into the speakers than that of the new ones. Also, the other end of the wire that goes into the receiver had color-coded connectors and those too were different from the old speakers. The technician, Donnie, was very polite, pleasant and knowledgeable. He quickly assessed everything and got to work. Donnie snipped and spliced both ends of the old speaker wire leaving it in the walls and attached the new speakers and receiver connectors. Then he turned everything back on and tested, making sure everything was set up properly for our room. SOUNDS GREAT!! Oh and of course he cleaned up before he left. :) We will definitely call A2Z Electronic Wizards for our future needs, and will recommend this company.

Came up with a very creative and cost effective method of installing a digital antenna that both works well and is esthetically pleasing. Professionalism and Perfectionism describe the work that they did. Worked with owner Keith to come up with a solution to install an antenna that picks up over 70 channels. The antenna was a black square box about 2 feet square, It was installed on an outer wall that avoided our tile roof. In addition, the design avoids bird perching problems, and does not require separate additional grounding. The installers, Cory and Jim were extremely knowledgeable and efficient. In less than a year, I will pay for the installation by "cutting" the cable monthly charge. Highly recommend.

They went above and beyond what they were asked to do without charging extra! Like showing us how to actually use our remote properly (in fact, he showed us how to use one remote instead of the three we were using)! We would definitely have them again and highly recommend them!

I thought they knew what they were doing. The technician had to go through quite a bit of work to figure it out and did a great job. I thought he was exceptionally good to work with. I have talked with them about buying equipment. I would definitely call them in the future.
