Divine Redesign and Interior Decorating

Fantastic. I love working with Deborah, she makes decisions that would be truly difficult for me on my own easy and enjoyable with her help. I have complete confidence in her professional advice and guidance. I look forward to projects that I would otherwise delay because I know I can count on loving the results.

She was fabulous. She gave me advise on nick nacks. I would recommend her to anyone. She selected all of our paint colors. She has a painting company she works with. She knows the kind of job they do.

I ended up with a great redesign of almost my entire home. Simple steps using what we already had with suggestions for lighting which I believe will make a huge impact. I love Deborah's approach and philosophy. She does a great job of offering advice and critique without making you feel uncomfortable (maybe that is just me but I was a bit concerned about feeling intimidated - I 'm pretty basic when it comes to design). She was really fun to work with, fun to talk to and had great ideas. I look forward to working with her in the future and implementing the suggestions she provided.

It was an excellent experience. Debra took into consideration all of my needs (I am disabled), my preferences as to color and design, yet she had so many good ideas about color and design it was quite stunning. Her perspective was entirely different from mine but the room is so beautiful I would not change a thing. She was conscious about price but her ideas do not look like it. I have had many compliments, and would use Debra again in a minute.

First, Deborah determined our esthetic tastes. Next, she took an inventory of our existing furniture, art and accessories. Then she worked on color harmony and space. Only a few - perhaps 5% - of the existing items were incompatible with her total plan. The result was an eclectic design masterpiece while we avoided the high cost of buying new. She gives attention to the smallest of details that enhance the overall harmony. The entire redesign project was delightful.

Working with Deborah was a delight. She guided me in choosing living room furniture, paint colors, fabric for recovering dining chairs, and reframing art. We are very happy with the results. Everything looks beautiful. We will use Deborah again for our next project.

Our house was totally transformed, and the feedback we have received from family and friends (who had been to our house prior to the remodel) was amazing. I highly recommend Deborah; her design rates were incredibly reasonable, particularly given her experience and skill. Deborah has a good sense of color and makes good use of what you have. She's very quick. She was very concise with her advice and very upfront. I trusted her opinion. She utilized our furniture in a much better way than what it's being used now. We didn't have to get a piece of furniture that we thought we needed to get. She said, "Why don't you pull it from this room and put it in that room?" It was economical to use her.

Deborah is a very conscientious and professional decorator. She was concerned that we would get what we wanted done and worked hard to meet our deadline. Her contacts made it possible to get things ordered quickly and the work scheduled in time. She was very helpful in making suggestions, answering questions and guiding us to make the right decisions throughout the process. Deborah also has a keen instinct to assess items already in your home and find the right place for them. She even painted the dining room table base we had, to match the new colors, so we didn't have to order something new. We made our deadline and are continuing with the selection and hanging of art and other details. We definitely appreciate her expertise and hard work!

Deborah is a highly-trained professional with a strong sense of color and style. She incorporated our eclectic tastes from modern to traditional, and encouraged us in directions that once-complete, gave us the wow-factor we wanted in this new home. She has a narrow list of preferred providers she works with, but they proved to be a perfect match for this large project. Deborah worked closely with our professional paint team ( we selected) and provided them with a detailed plan, color by color along with photos and paint colors to be used. I would highly recommend Deborah with out any reservation. She has high standards, and I was pleased to know I could count on her to critique the quality of other vendor's work and assure it was corrected with out us having to micro-manage. She's great!

Could not have been happier with all the direction and support given by Debra from paint colors, to windows covering design and materials to all furniture updating and art work updating and placement...

She really put me high pressure that I have decided to stop working with her in some other areas of the offer that she was hired for. She needed me to leave my house for three or four hours a day when she will be working in there. That sounds to be unacceptable. It is curious that the woman is very popular and very+ good over here. I will not recommend her to other people. I had a very bad experience with her. She was not cheap at all, and also asked me some kind of questions like: what kind of budget do you have? I am not going to use her again in the future. Overall, I am grading her a B.

Deborah is a very organized gal. She comes to assess your house and get a feel of your style and takes many measurements. She formulates a vision of how she thinks the space should look like. She does like your input so she can tweak the design and does help pick out furniture, light fixtures, flooring, etc. She sets up a schedule with the contractors so projects get done in the right order. My living room turned out beautifully. The interior paint pulls the whole house together. The contractors she picked are fabulous. I would definitely use them and her again.

Loved them. Has a great eye for what works for accessories, furniture colors, heights of furn and placement. Listen while she speaks then write everything down when she leaves. Great decorator! Wish I could have afforded more of her time.

From new kitchen tile to a complete interior paint job to the final picture hanging and curtains, the entire project went very smoothly and was well sequenced.

Everything went very smoothly. I was even gone for a week and Deborah kept everything on schedule. She came to my condo, we made a plan and then went shopping together for furniture, carpet and countertops. Next we met with contractors and set up a date to start and finish the projects. Deborah has an amazing eye for color furniture arrangement.

Deborah was a joy to work with, and her recommended contacts were professional and reasonably priced. She sized up what I needed quickly and kept the job well under budget. I am very happy with her color choices, as was the general contractor and friends that have seen the new kitchen. I look forward to working with her in future.

Everything has gone extremely well!! Deborah used what I already had in my home, redesigned and pared down my possessions so my home now feels much more tranquil. She has an amazing eye for balance and harmony. Deborah definitely thinks outside the box and makes suggestions that are functional, practical, and doable. I have been able to move forward decluttering and unpacking boxes because she is such a great cheerleader and is helping to keep me focused. She doesn't forget that I need to make changes over time. I will be using her professionals soon to construct a closet out of previously wasted space. We have a relationship that will extend over time as I am able to implement the ideas we have collaborated on. Deborah is intuitive, warm, fun and definitely knows what she is doing. She is a great listener!!! I highly recommend Deborah!!

This gal is very professional; punctual; and armed with ideas. I needed some help with direction on a new house I bought and thought I needed some professional advise. She did give me many ideas and and I hired her back to do the colors for the interior part of my house which was all white.She returned with an over all plan and the colors. I bought samples on my own to try them out and they were all wrong. I communicated this to her and she came right out and provided some different hues for me to try. I tried those too and it just wasn't right either. I ended up not using her color scheme at all, hiring my own painter who was also a colorist and the paint job worked out well. Let me say that I did not realize how expensive interior decorater rates were and really not in the financial position to utilize the services of one. I was wrong to think that after an initial consultation I could really get all my ideas and hers into any kind of cohesive plan that I could carry out on my own- and I was foolish - as this is not the way that decorators work- they charge hourly ($80 or more an hour) and want to take you to their vendors .... So be prepared financially if you are going to have any kind of relationship because it is an on going thing which can take months and charges along with it. That being said, I was very disappointed with the cost and the outcome - her taste and mine turned out to be completely different .

She was so helpful and a very big help. I was very overwhelmed with the move so her enthusiasm, approach to everything and her upbeat attitude made it a lot easier. I would use her again.

She was very thorough and reasonably priced. She every drove 2 hours to my summer home to help me out. She is great. I would use her again and recommend her service.

Deborah was very professional in her approach and VERY knowledgeable about interior design. We had just move to the Phoenix area and purchase a home where the interior was much different than prior home. It was a design challenge to say the least. Deborah worked with us every step of the way, helping us to understand what we wanted and with here help we were able to pull all together for a very wonderful living area for us. I can't say enough about Deborah, being new in town and not knowing who to call to accomplish the electrical, lighting, painting and furniture, Deborah was able to make recommendations with contractors who were very competitive in their pricing. The work that was completed by the contractors that Deborah recommended was very professional and completed with no problems. I would highly recommend Deborah and her services, we will be calling her again as we move through the house completing more projects.

Based upon reviews on Angie's List, we contacted Deborah for advice on furnishing and decorating our new home. She visited us, took many pictures of the areas, discussed in detail our likes and dislikes for both style and color, and made many suggestions for our consideration. We had a new sofa and window treatments that we really liked but needed other pieces for the room. As we wanted contemporary styles, she did some preliminary work with Norwood Furniture and helped us select pieces and fabrics we liked with an eye to coordinating styles and colors and woods. We appreciate her philosophy to work with the furniture we wanted to keep, that is, to work the newer items into the overall design of the room. One wall of the room contained three large niche areas that were just drywall. She offered excellent suggestions on a custom designed entertainment center (large niche) plus bookcase style side cabinets (two smaller niches) as well as wood colors to complement existing wood within the room. Because we tend to proceed slowly, the project is ongoing and Deborah has been patient with our pace. We're working with her on the remaining items: rugs, lamps, pillows, wall color. Feel free to express your likes and dislikes, preferences and ideas with Deborah. She will not insist that you do things in a some strict regimen. She works with you.
