There were no additional charges to the $39 Big Deal. The Deal was not exactly what I expected it to be. I thought I would get an hour of labor, but the guy said that it was more like an hour of assessment. The labor was good for what I thought it would be for an hour of service. I would not use them again in the future.

The carpet cleaning was ok. That one was fine. I had a bad experience.

We had been told by another plumber that we had a collapsed drain or tree root damage. The camera Mark used gave us a super clear video of our drains. Mark emailed us the video! Super friendly and fair

Initially the provider did not respond when they had indicated they would. However they did call later, apologized and arranged to provide the service. Repairs were completed to satisfaction. When another part broke in the process, they went to the hardware store and replaced the part for free.

IT WENT AS SMOOTH AS POSSIBLE

It worked out great. They did what I needed and were gone.

We arranged for an hour of plumbing services through Angie's List. We had a loose kitchen faucet and-or toilet leaking that we wanted repaired. We found an Angie's List note to call them to arrange a time. We did--no call back. We sent a note to them via Angies List to call us. No call--we called their number twice--left messages with neither call returned. Contacted Angies' List about the "no-service" and they directed me to fill out a form. This too is bad customer service. They should have called to get the info. they needed. As it is, I suspect Angie's List may be overwhelmed with "F" grade complaints and like everyone else, it is my job to fix it, not theirs. Bummer... Poor service all around.

I then hired 24/7 to fix the problem, which required digging down to the line and replacing the defective section of pipe. Simple enough you would think. The digging began carefully at first until the underground utility locator service arrived. The utilities were located well under and a safe distance from the sewer line. When first built, the sewer line was laid before a cement footing and a cement block wall were built over it. The sewer line made a 45 degree turn near the wall which had a clean out attached. When the footing for the wall was poured in 1999, it encased the sewer line. The footing was 3 feet wide and 18 inches thick reinforced with rebar. As the cement set when it was originally poured, it caused the line to rise, creating the belly. Over time the joint in the 45 degree turn began to weaken and leak, causing the smells. Doug and Anthony, the 24/7 guys doing the job, had a heck of a time digging through the reinforced concrete wall footing. The one day job turned 2 full days even with the use of a jackhammer. A Pacific storm on Day 2 did not slow them down. I have nothing but love for these guys for doing a great job despite multiple unexpected hurdles. A word about Mark, the owner. He was here to oversee and help during this most difficult job. More of his crew showed up at the end of Day One, and Mark had dinner delivered to his crew as they tried their hardest to finish the job in one day. The job was completed at the end of Day 2. I highly recommend 24/7 for all your plumbing needs.

He re-attached my sink stopper. He gave me estimates for varies other jobs that he didn't have the right stuff on his truck.

Once we set up the appointment, they came within one day, showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. There was a misunderstanding on the Angies List Special regarding whether the price included parts, but when I explained my perception to Mark, he said he understood and he did not charge me- good service perspective as he created a happy customer. In a nutshell: Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy They showed up on time and got the job done right the first time They were responsive to a misunderstanding and resolved my issue

The work went fine. The job was completed to my satisfaction, I wasn't blown away by any means. It was a pretty typical toilet plumbing service. He was very cordial. He did have a slight disagreement but they handled it in the end, so ulimately it worked out well.

Arrived on time and did a complete thorough job. Very satisfied.

said that I should purchase a faucet and he would return for an astronomical amount. I am a new widow with half of my past income. That is why I intentional tried to have materials available. I got nothing for the money I paid, and his aloof attitude and lack of concern was atypical of all the other service people of yours that I have dealt with. He is a poor example for his apprentice, who appeared to look painful as he had me sign a sheet saying he did nothing.

Good price, but tech was in a hurry. did not help me learn details of running the unit. not sure the the hses taped into place on the drain will stay secure. Unit is 4 mo old and seems to be leaking salty brine already

He didn't have the right parts on his truck and said i only got an hour for my money. Half of it was spent coming out, and the other half would be spent coming back. Because he didn't have the part. then he said it would be 110.00 I feel totally ripped off. If he couldn't fix it, why should I be charged at all? I would never buy these special deals again. No thanks. It's a rip off.

Installed kitchen faucet poorly (very loose) and installed sprayer incorrectly and even managed to leave a screw inside faucet which I can't get out. Also would not drill a hole in sink, hired another plumber and he redid everything and drilled hole in sink for sprayer. 24/7 did come out quickly for the original install and also followed up from owner which was nice but the quality of service was well below average. I assume the installer was new. In a nutshell, everything was fine except for the quality of work............get what you pay for I guess.

Took 4.5 hours. Then had to return next day to fix again as it apparently wasnt tested after day 1 fix. Service man was very nice. Just took WAY longer than it should and he didn't appear to have much experience.

Found vendor through the "Big Deal." Contacting them on the 21st and let them know I had a bathroom leak from the double sink vanity that had been removed. Needed someone right away since I had planned to have wallpaper removed, room painted and some tile work done but needed this taken care of first. Did not hear back for 2 days. I contacted them again and said I really needed to have someone come out. The repairman called and scheduled a time on Friday. He showed up on time, fixed the leak and was done within 30 minutes. Very pleased with the work done.

Went very well. Plumber took care of everything. Would recommend them to anyone needing a water heater installed.

The "Big Deal" states that it can be used to fix a leaky faucet. When I spoke to the company they said the "Big Deal" is just for them to come out and do an estimate. I have spent too much time on this alleged "Big Deal" for nothing so please give me my refund ASAP!

1) He was late getting here. 2) Almost the first thing out of his mouth was "By the time I get here and complete the paperwork I've pretty much used up the time so I won't be able to do much." 3) Before he came to my house I told them the three things I wanted done. A clogged toilet fixed, a garbage disposal installed and a loose toilet tightened down. They did not suggest that this was an unrealistic expectation. 4) When he gets to my house. He says "It will take him a long time to install the garbage disposal and it will cost me more money". I have installed garbage disposals myself and I have seen professionals install garbage disposals and supposedly I paid for $200 of plumbing services so I think I certainly should be able to at least get that done. No one charges $200 to install a garbage disposal. In fact, I could have gotten it done for $75 from the place where I purchased the disposal. 5) He did unclog the toilet, in about 5 minutes so if I paid for $200 of plumbing services and the hourly rate at this company is $115/hr that means I purchased 1.74 hours So, I still have some time available to me right? He says "we charge $115 to unclog a toilet". 6). The loose toilet....... Well that was just too big of a job for him. He had soooooo many excuses for why he couldn't get that done. In fairness, it was not as simple as tightening the screws on the side. I could have done that myself. 7) When he wrote up the paperwork it said $39 for 1 hour of plumbing service. I said I paid $79 . His response " Oh my boss told me $39 so he changed it to say 2 hours of plumbing $79 . I said since I seemed to have gotten the $39 deal are you going to refund me $40? He says "Well I can get started on the disposal but I'm going to have to charge you for the extra time". My response, I'm not paying you a single penny more than what I have paid you already. Bottom line, I paid $79 to get a toilet unclogged which I could have taken care of myself but since I had purchased this service I added it in. My toilet is still loose in my bathroom and the garbage disposal still needs to be installed. I realize that what I was asking to be done could have taken more time than what I purchased but I was willing to pay that if necessary. However, I felt ripped off from the moment this person came into my home and he definitely was not interested in getting any work done. Even unclogging the toilet seemed to be a big inconvenience for him. In general, I have purchased these deals in the past and they don't seem to work out. My idea of what can be done in the time allotted and their idea of what can be done are grossly different. In the future I will purchase deals that provide a specific service.

I had a shower head that didn't function. I asked how much it would be to replace it and he said he couldnt tell me and that he needed to see all of the problems before giving an estimate. I showed him 3 other problems and by then he had been here about 10 minutes. He said he was going out to the car to see if he had a part and 20 minutes later he was still sitting out there with his headphones in. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was getting together an estimate. He spent 25 minutes working on an estimate but there were no prices written down. I asked him how long it would take and he said "as soon as I'm finished". I told him I was not satisfied with his services at this point and asked him to leave. I contacted the owner who offered to come out to my house himself which was the proper thing to do, however, he said he had trained his people to handle things in a certain way and could not give me an estimate until seeing the problems. I thought I paid for an hour of service but it seemed like the entire hour would be spent creating an estimate.
