+ -1 moreWe purchased an older home that required a complete electrical makeover. We previously had a different electrician, and he was supposed to upgrade our electrical system, but work did not upgrade enough to handle modern needs and never came back to finish the job. Then we contacted Phil Stratton. What a difference! Phil came and did the work promptly. We continue to use Phil during these past four years for every electrical need. When our gas heaters were red-lined by the gas company, we asked Phil if it was better to get electrical heaters or gas heaters as a backup to our whole-house system (which we do not use all the time in the winter due to heating of rooms we don't use) Phil told us directly and honestly, that gas will always be the cheapest. We will continue to use Phil Stratton Electric for all of our electrical needs..
Description of Work: Complete replacement of fuse-box system with circuit breakers. Replaced all electrical outlets with grounded outlets. Corrected problems with multiple switches and lighting. Replaced and rerouted wiring for major appliances. Installed exterior security lighting around home. Redid wiring in outlying buildings and yard light.. Replaced three overhead incandescent fixtures in kitchen and bath. Installed air conditioning units. Checking and upgrading wiring to handle new backup heating system in bedrooms after old gas bedroom heaters were disconnected by gas company due to regulations.
