 + -1 moreLadies, you know that "shivery back of the neck" feeling when you have to find a provider for services you know absolutely nothing about? Like when the local tire shop tells you your lug nuts are not safe and you must buy all new ones (actual true story!) You will have nothing to fear with Larry from Old Mountain Electric. He is like a trusted uncle, or in my case, brother, who is coming over to help fix your problems. We had electrical issues on a home inspection that needed to be corrected. Larry was very nice, on time, and strived to have everything he needed before he came out the first time. With his pleasant, calming demeanor, he even was able to explain the issues to our potential home buyer and reassure him that all was either fixable or okay. He even found a couple of things the home inspection hadn't revealed and fixed those. His price was very reasonable and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Larry arrived on time and checked my circuit breaker box. He said that I needed a 40 amp quad breaker and would go to town to get one. When he returned he said he couldn't find one. mHe then checked to see if he could find another way to make it work and he did. After the repair everything worked fine. I was very happy with his work and will use him again if needed.

Description of Work: They conducted troubleshooting of an electrical outage inside the house and after approx 10 minutes, determined the problem was a breaker in the switchbox outside. They replaced it and all was well.

He was also very friendly and accommodating, and it was a pleasure to have him work at our residence. We will most certainly use him for all future electrical projects, and can very highly recommend him.

 + -1 moreMy husband needed a new special outlet for his large table saw in the detached garage. This involved crawling around int he small attic to get accross to the electrical panel. He installed the outlet, put in a new electrical panel, and spent a lot of time working on a complicated ceiling fan in our home. Despite the extra time he took on the celing fan, he stuck to the estimate he had given us. Would use him again for sure.
