After removing the window I drove over, was beckoned into the shop where my window was measured. They had the glass and did the repair while I waited. In and out in 15 minutes. Very pleased.

+ 0 moreMy experience with Sierra Vista Glass is quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had with any business in my life. As of 03/02/2015 the date that I am updating this review there is still damage on my 1969 Pontiac Firebird that was put there by and employee of Sierra Vista Glass on April 2014. Please do your research if you decide to hire this company. It is always wise to make an informed decision when hiring someone, I sure wish I did. One of the owners of Sierra Vista Glass direct messaged me on a social media site and threatened me with legal action for writing bad reviews of his company and he also threatened to put out on social media specific personal information about me in what is my opinion an attempt to get me to erase and/or stop writing bad reviews.

Description of Work: Broken window pain. Had to deliver window to them 50 miles away. Same day service promised and delivered. Good quality repair for half the price than locally in Douglas. Office staff was incredibly helpful, like there workplace and make you feel very welcome. Hardly ever rate an A, but Sierra Vista Glass is an A

And though I arrived fairly early for the appointment, the workman started on my car immediately. Both staff and worker struck me as efficient - I was there a shorter time than I expected to be. It's been a couple of weeks since the job was performed and I have not complaints.

+ 1 moreSierra Vista Glass has a great stafff of professional and courteous people. Overall, with each job they have performed we have been happy with the final results.
Description of Work: The most recent job that Sierra Vista Glass did for us was to replace a 2 foot by 6 foot piece of stationary tempured glass next to a sliding glass door. Over the last ten years and between two residences they have installed double paned windows throughout an entire house, replaced a broken mirror that was affixed to an older style accordian type closet door, built a shower door and partly glass wall in a handicap accessible bathroom that did not have one there to begin with, replaced a windshield on one of our vehicles, and detailed the same vehicle sometime later. In each case Sierra Vista Glass was professional, courteous, and showed great pride in their excellent work. This includes the people who work the phones and the guys who come out to perform their services or do the work at their facility. The only criticism I have, and it's mild: communication has sometimes been an issue. For instance, on one job I waited at our empty residence for a long time and I finally figured out that the worker went to the other residence. This happened three times on one job. They said that it was because the system they were using was new. The most recent job that was done for us the communication problem was that, even though I had a 9 to 11 time frame I was expecting a call before they came. I ran an errand with my cell phone in hand, came home to find the SV Glass truck leaving my residence, but I was able to flag him down. Again, the excuse given was that something was new, their policy is that they should call the customer before arriving, and that it would be taken care of. Another issue with this same job is that I was told that the glass would be in on Tuesday or Friday. Tuesday and Friday came and went and no call from SV Glass. When I called them on Monday, they said that they were off because of Good Friday being a holiday for them. The problem with this is that they didn't think through their schedule far enough in advance to let me know that on this particular Friday they would not be open. I was simply expecting a courtesy call saying, "Oops, I hope next week is okay." Or something like that. I did have to arrange my schedule to be available that Friday because they said, "Tuesday or Friday." In each case of a communication problem I did bring it to the attention of a phone receptionist just to let them know, and they have never argued with me or been "put out" or unkind in any way. They have said things like, "Thanks for letting us know." "This system is new and we will take care of it." But I have never walked away angry with them for any attitude. Overall, I have enjoyed all of my dealings with SV Glass, and their workmanship is superb. I recommend their work, and I know that we all can get better at communicating.

+ -1 moreI called this company and they sent someone out who did a good job at finding out what needed to be replaced and repaired. The bid they submitted seemed good soI asked them to do the work. They scheduled a time to install the window and I made arrangements to be home. Then they called and said they would need to order the glass and the installation would have to be delayed. I agreed to this. Now it is two months later and they still have not installed the window nor have they told me why they cannot.
Description of Work: I needed to have a double pane window repaired or replaced. The technician was sent out to get information and give me a estimate. They never showed up to do the work

Description of Work: United Moving Company moved us from Virginia to Sierra Vista... including my 2008 Toyota Sienna CE. During the move, the windshield of my van was cracked. We called and reported the damage, and they recommended Sierra Vista Glass. I took my van down to the shop for an estimate and for them to order a new windshield. Two young men came out to my house to replace the windshield. They were both polite, clean, and considerate. It took them less than 30 minutes to replace the windshield. They left my van in the exact same condition as when they got there.
