The above should give you a pretty good clue as to how it went. The last 2 times, the repair man just showed up out of the blue with no appointment and no warning. The second time, I had people over for dinner and he just marched in to the house and went to the kitchen and opened the dishwasher and started working on it. I stopped him, pointed out he had not called to make an appointment, and that in case he had missed it, I had six people sitting in my living room. He shrugged by way of a response. I asked him to leave, which he did. The next morning I went into Kings and terminated the transaction as mentioned above. This happened over 3 years ago. The reason I am posting this review now (I just joined Angie's List) is because my experience was so awful that I wouldn't want anyone else to walk in there blind. In fairness to Kings, it happened over 3 years ago, and things can change a lot, including people turnover, in that amount of time. They may well have really cleaned up the service operation for all I know. That said, this is one of the worst repair experiences I have ever had and I will never darken their door again. Caveat emptor.
Description of Work: I contacted King's Appliances for service because they are listed as the local service and repair provider for LG refrigerators and dishwashers in Sierra Vista. I called them because my LG dishwasher was leaking. A workman came out, examined the dishwasher, and said it would be a total of $144.17 to repair (which included a $75 diagnosis/estimate fee; I was told about the fee when I called and made the appointment). He then fiddled around with the rubber seal that seals the door when it's closed for about 20 minutes, ran a rinse for about 2-3 minutes and pronounced it fixed. The next day I ran a load of dishes and it leaked as bad as it did before he came. So I called and he came back out and changed the rubber seal, ran a quick rinse and pronounced it fixed. Next time I ran it, it leaked worse. Back out again he came. Same story again. Bottom line, he mis-diagnosed it; it was the seal that runs across the bottom of the door. After a total of 6 visits, I had had enough and went into Kings' offices. They were willing to return the service and parts costs but not the diagnosis fee. Subsequently, I figured out what was wrong with it and fixed it myself.
