We had our house up for sale and a prospective buyer had a home inspection performed. During the inspection, the inspector found that the gas line to the furnace was not up to code. We confirmed this through the county and decided that even though I could make the correction, it would save me time for packing if we hired someone that was experienced and licensed to make the repair. Cliff was on time, spread a drop cloth in the work area and followed up with a dust pan and broom. While writing out the repair bill, he asked if either of us were military and extended a discount!! This is very different as most companies will make a face if you ask about discounts, this is the first time the discount has been offered up front. He came prepared to work with all of the tools and possible parts he may have needed for the repair, and did this in a 1958 Studebaker flat bed truck, the guys will think this is cool, but Cliff is a very down to earth family man with his customers best interests in mind. It's a shame he doesn't service Texas, as that is our new home.

My first time doing business with Cliff and I was extremely pleased. He answered all my questions, never felt rushed and was very personable. We had a progressively loud water heater that worried us. As someone not versed in plumbing, Cliff serviced the water heater and most importantly gave us peace of mind.

We noticed water welling up on the side of the house in the yard. Cliff came out on the same day called. He was very careful to change into a clean uniform and change his shoes for boots. He turned off the water service to the house and by process of elimination, and probing he determined the area in our yard to start looking for the leak. He moved the landscaping rock and cut through the plastic under layment to get to the ground itself. He carefully excavated the area around the pipe and identified a 2" long section of weakened pipe. Cliff then sawed through the PVC pipe above and below the leaking section and replaced with PVC pipe and coupling of the appropriate grade after cleaning off both ends of the existing pipe and drying them sufficiently to allow adhesion. Note: the removed pipe was not to code (walls were too thin) and remains a question in this 30-year old house. After the pipe repair had had 30 minutes to cure, Cliff turned the water service back on. He showed me how to inspect the water meter to check for indication of leaks, and we discussed an issue with the valve for the house water supply. At my request we will allow the ground to dry out for two days before Cliff returns to backfill the hole. I have found that he is very willing to suggest alternate courses of action where they exist. The total bill includes payment for backfilling the hole in the yard. Cliff was very careful to pile the rock and excavated soil so that it can be done easily and will blend back with the rest of the rock. We appreciate Cliff's work and know that he did not pad the time needed for the repair. The military discount he offers (if you have EVER served in the military, not just active duty or retired) was also appreciated.

We called Cliff and explained that despite numerous attempts to keep our kitchen faucet and dishwasher from constantly clogging from sediment, we had a problem that needed a permanent solution. When our new hot water heater was installed (summer 2014) the handyman who did the installation used pipes of several different kinds of metal. These metals were apparently working against each other and causing corrosion, which found its way into our faucet and dishwasher filters, clogging them both. Cliff came over and replaced the piping (now all brass), drained and cleaned the hot water heater, and cleaned the kitchen filters. Time will tell if this is a permanent fix, but for now, things seem to be working properly.

It went well, replaced old garbage disposal unit with new, bigger unit.

He didn't go far enough to find the problem that we had. It turned out that they just needed a longer snake tool to reach the problem. We were under the impression that he had cleared the problem, and it turned out that he had pushed the problem further down. They were very nice, they did speak to us, and they were friendly with us. They gave talked us through the system, and they were very knowledgeable. The price was very reasonable, it was affordable for us. He was very punctual.

My water hose faucets have been leaking for years. A tiny trickle of water but over the last few month I've noticed the water bill getting larger every month. Its a 30 year old house made of brick so I was concerned about the repair. Cliff had to chisel a little bit of the brick out to get access to change the faucet. He was very careful and did not destroy the brick. Made it very easy to seal once the faucet was changed. Job took him about 30 minutes and I was good to go. No more leaks. Great job and an awesome looking plumbing truck as well.

FABULOUS service and repair experience!!! Water leaking underground on side of my house. Another contractor (landscaper) called out, found the leak underground in water line running from street meter to my house, cut the one inch PEX line BUT ONLY THEN told me he could not repair as did not have proper parts so I need to call a plumber. Oh great! I called Cliff (who I have used before), he answered immediately, and FORTUNATELY he was able to come out within 2 hours right before his next appointment! (I could have had to wait days without any water in my house, and would have gladly waited just to use Cliff again). He instantly diagnosed the fix, installed QUALITY WOLVERINE BRAND brass fittings rated up to 250psi (for a 50psi water line) compared to a cheap, screw-on plastic coupler repair job (reason for leak) done by a different contractor 6 years prior) to re-establish my water run to the house. I had water to the house within 45 minutes of his arrival. But WAIT! He decided before leaving for his next appointment that he would have more time the following day to run a straight line repair, eliminating one of the fittings. So he returned the very next morning at 7am and finished the job. I watched (and admired his work ethic) the ENTIRE time on both days and he uses quality tools and parts, takes precision measurements, meticulously cleaned the existing PEX tubing to ensue a good seal, and most of all TOOK HIS TIME to ensure quality customer satisfaction since he does not "punch a clock". His uniform is meticulous, his tools he handles like jewelry, and his price is unbelievably reasonable! Did I get charged for the "emergency call-out"? No.....Did I pay more for the 2 trips he made? No....Did I have to wait excessively for him to show up on either day? No......was he able to return the very next morning to finish the job?.....Yes.....At any time did I feel he was rushing or not taking his time, or checking his watch? ......NO...What can I say? Cliff is first-class, super thorough, has the RIGHT tools and RIGHT pieces for the job (by WOLVERINE) and the cost of both jobs I have had with Cliff were super reasonable. This is the only plumber I will ever use in Sierra Vista Arizona until I die! No doubt I will meet Cliff in heaven one of these days too!!!

I did use Cliff's Classic Care Plumbing. They came highly recommended. They got here very quickly and he did a really good job. He is very to the point. He will tell you what the problem is. He knows what he's doing. He's very good at what he's doing. You feel confident when he leaves that it's fixed.

The provider did not show up at scheduled appointment time. I called the provider about a half hour after the scheduled appointment time at the two phone numbers listed on Angie's List and I left a message that I assumed that no one was coming but that I would wait another half hour before leaving for work. No one returned my call. I did wait 90 minutes after the scheduled appointment time but no one showed up. Still no one returned my call. I took time off work.and thought it was very unprofessional to not call to cancel or re-schedule appointment if no one was going to show up at scheduled appointment time.

Cliff was able to come quickly to my house when I called him. He advised my of everything that he was doing as he proceeded to check out the problem. he was very professional and courteous. He drained the tank, and then went to the plumbing store to buy an element. He returned and showed me the old element compared to the new one. He installed the new one, 'burped' the line and cleaned up. His prices are very reasonable and he was very polite. He even sent a thank you note for calling him and allowing him to fix the water heater!

This was not an emergency - but Cliff came in himself during the holiday season and replaced the 30-year old system. He was meticulous, very neat, even carried a soft pad to place his tools on so as not to damage other appliance in our laundry/utility room. He explained everything as he went, and gave us an estimate of the charges. He also gave us both military discounts as we had both served in armed forces. Only reason price was not an A is because we opted for a better quality (pricier) water heater.

Unbelievable positive experience! Cliff arrived on time and was hyper-meticulous in his approach to the job. The beverage faucet I purchased did not come with the right fitting for my water filtration system. Cliff had to run out for more parts through no fault of his own since I had bought both faucets without other parts needed for the install. He also later noted that the water supply line between the ball valve fixture and the filtration filter head assembly had an extra (and unnecessary) coupling when I had the house custom built 8 yrs prior (Cliff was not the original plumber). As well, the plastic adaptor on my water filtration filter head had become deformed over the years so the new plastic supply line did not have a water-tight seal. He returned the next day and finished the job. Regrettably I noted a very very minor drip that night so I called him around 8pm and he returned the very next day, examined the issue (drip due to deformed original part in my filtration head assembly), and decided to design and install a better means to connect the water supply line to the water filtration head. His work is truly a "work of art" and he really tidyed up the original plumbing scheme from when the house was first built. All in all, Cliff made 4 trips to my house over 2 days and yet he charged me frankly for just the first trip and for just a couple hours of service, although I know the time he spent in my house alone (not counting trips) was almost twice that amount! I am an adept handyman myself (at age 62) but I know plumbing is often an art, and not a science. And I can assure you Cliff is a "plumbing architect" and not a wrench bender. My plumbing situation challenged his ingenuity, patience, design scheme, and fitting options. But Cliff worked through every issue calmly, expediently, and adeptly. He also offfers a $25 discount as listed on the back of his business card! You cannot go wrong hiring Cliff for all your plumbing needs!! I was so lucky to find him and as expected, I was referred to him from another very satisfied customer. I hope you are next!

Cliff made sure "Blue Stake" marked all the utility lines around the area. The installation went smoothly at the appointed time.

Cliff went above and beyond to repair our leaking drain pipes. The repair was not an easy fix because Cliff had to work inside the kitchen cabinets and through the sheet rock while laying on the kitchen floor in order to complete the repair without the need to remove cabinets and a counter top. An appointment was made, but the provider needed to reschedule. The service provider called us a day in advance to let us know about the change in schedule. All of the drains in our house were clogged. Cliff used his rooter tool to clean out the main drain to the street and to the house side.

plumbers I had a water leak out at my box, in the front yard. I called a commericial contractor and he recommend Cliffs. I told Cliff about the issue. He came out started the the job and found the leak. We waited on the city to turn off the water and Cliff repaired the leak with supplies on his truck all in 90 minutes. I don't know what plumbers cost but I was relieved with the job being done so quickly and professionally. I will call him again !!!!

I'm typically a do-it-yourselfer kinda gal. I've been getting frustrated over the past few months with how my shower drains just weren't running the way they should. I've cleaned them out and ran liquid drain cleaner through them time and time again. Well they got to the point that the liquid drain cleaner just wasn't cutting it any longer. I was tired of standing in 1/2" of water by the time I was done showering. I received a referral to call Cliffs Classic Care in Sierra Vista AZ. I gave him a call monday morning and we set a time of 330pm 26 Feb at my house. While on the phone with Cliff he was very professional, courteous, personable and informative.
